Jack looked at the moon as Kat slept. He thought, Why does she have to constantly live in fear? Manny.. you could have saved her a long time ago. So why didn't you? He looks at the moon questioningly.

The moon looks like he's frowning. I wonder why..

Morning came, even though it was really dim. In the South Pole, even during the summer months, there wasn't too much sunlight.

Kat woke up, after a few minutes of failing to go back to sleep. She sighed and sat up. At least she had restored her energy. She rubbed her eyes, looking around her room. She nearly jumped through the ceiling when she saw Jack sitting in the chair.

Then she remembered.

Oh.. Yeah, that's right. Jack stayed her to protect me while I slept..

She calmed down and smiled to herself. Thankfully, Jack hadn't noticed her little freak out moment. He looked at her as she was smiling. He smiled too.

She looks at him and blushes a little, His smile is so adorable.. She then mentally shakes her head. What am I saying? I can't fall in love again... History will only repeat itself.

Jack noticed her smile was gone and he looked at her worriedly. "Kat? Is something wrong?" She felt something warm and wet run down her cheek. Back in reality, she had realized she had started crying whilst lost in her thoughts.

She feigned a smile and shook her head. "No, nothing's wrong." She meant for her voice to come out strong and happy, but.. rather, it came out weak and pain-filled. Jack sent her a look, one that said, 'I know you're lying. Tell me the truth, I'm not here to hurt you.' But still, she shook her head. "I don't want to tell you.." She lied again. She wanted to tell him, she wanted him to tell her everything was going to be okay and that he would never leave her, but she couldn't tell him.

She didn't want history to repeat itself.

She sighed, and Jack came over to her and cupped her cheeks in his hands. His chilled thumbs wiped away her warm tears, nearly freezing them in the process. She looked up at him, her brows furrowed in confusion, fear, and sadness.

"Katherine.. I won't leave you. I promise."

Her eyes widened. She looked at him, shocked, yet hopeful.

He looked down at her. "Will you believe me?"

She thought about it for a moment. She finally decided to leave her fear behind. She smiled up at him and nodded

"Yes."

Bunny paced back and forth in his Warren. He had no idea how to apologize..

Adaline reminded him so much of Katherine. It would be difficult for him because he would start apologizing for things she didn't know about. He sighed.

"Aw great, how am I supposed to say sorry to the lass? Crikey.. I don't know what to say.." He scratches behind his ear.

Maybe I should ask Tooth for some help..

He sends a little Egg through the tunnels and to Tooth's palace to send for her.

Tooth looked around to her fairies, wondering what the ruckus was about. Then she saw the little egg. "Aw.. Bunny needs me? He probably needs my advice for his stupidity." She remarked, laughing a bit.

She flew off to the Warren, leaving Baby Tooth in charge for a bit.

Tooth arrived in the Warren, appearing behind Bunny. "So, you called for me?" She smiled. Bunny jumped, totally not expecting her to be right behind him, but there she was.

"Woah! Way to sneak up on me, Tooth!" He shouted, and she rolled her eyes.

"That temper of yours is what got you in this predicament in the first place!" She shouted back, angrily placing her hands on her hips. "Now do you want my help or not?" She said more calmly.

He looked down, defeated. "Yes.. I want your help."

"Alright! Okay, prepare yourself, because Dr. Tooth is in the house!

Jack grinned as they flew through the air. He laughed as he tugged her through the wind, doing many somersaults and flips in the process. She laughed as well, having the most fun she had ever had in a really long time.

They eventually stopped, landing somewhere in Canada. Neither knew exactly where they were, but they knew somewhere in Canada.

They sat atop a mountain, looking at the snow flurries cascade down onto the absentmindedly held hands, both smiling.

Just then, they both happened to glance at each other at the same time. They stared for a moment before looking away, both their cheeks a light red.

Then Jack looked over at her, no longer embarrassed. He only knew her for a few days.. but.. he already felt himself falling in love.

It was time for him to accept his feeling, and pray that she felt the same way. He lightly grabbed her chin, making her look at him. She was blushing a lot, wondering what he was going to do.

Oh.. Is he..? She asked the obvious question in her head. She shut her eyes tightly, scared.

She had a dark feeling in her heart, that this would only end up just like last time she was 'in love'. He would eventually hate her and leave her, and ultimately lock her away forever.

Jack could tell what she was thinking by the look on her face. He frowned, "Kat. Katherine, look at me." He spoke, softly demanding. She slowly opened her eyes, looking up at him with fear in her eyes.

"Kat, please.. trust me. Please believe me. I will never leave you, and I mean it." He looked at her, pleading for her to trust in him, to believe in him. She glanced down, nervously thinking for a moment. "Katherine.. will you believe me?" He asked her the same question he had asked her the night before. She smiled up at him.

"Yes." He smiled, placing a firm hand on the back of her neck and the other on her cheek. He pulled her close, and their lips connected gently.
