Me again. I'm seriously hoping to finish this soon. I'm going to try my best to work on all of my drafts so I can upload them this summer. I'll have free time and not so free time. I'm going to be so busy, But I won't have any school work to do. So yey.
Something was wrong. He could feel it. He felt like the wind was pushing him back, trying to keep him from reaching her. He got frustrated, wondering why just before the wind was calling him towards her, but now it was pushing him away.
"Wind, what's wrong? Why are you pushing me away now?" He yells up at the sky, looking around. The wind swirls around him, taking the form of a person.
"I'm sorry for my sudden change. But you cannot find my master now. You mustn't." The figure said. Jack looked a little more than confused.
"Waitwaitwait... who are you?" Jack asked. The windy figure face-palmed.
"I am the wind. As in the element." Jack looked... well, shocked. He pointed at him, his mouth wide open. "Yes?"
"I..I thought you were just an element! A thing! Not a living being!" Jack exclaims. The 'living being' chuckled.
"Yes, I am a living being.. technically speaking. All the elements are living beings, and we devote ourselves to those, besides ourselves, who can use our powers. Those people, like my master, are called elementals. But as I was saying before, you must not find my master. The dark one is planning his revenge on you, which means he's willing to kill my master to watch you suffer. If you go to her, he will kill her." He explained. Jack's eyes were wide by the end of the being's talking. Pitch was going to kill Adaline if Jack went to save her? He would have to find some other way to rescue her. He would have to find another way... though he was never really good with planning. As if on queue, Sandy and Tooth arrived. He looked at them, smiling.
"You showed up! I thought for sure you would have stayed with the other two." Tooth and Sandy both shook their heads. Tooth spoke up.
"We agreed with you, actually. We have to fine Adaline." Jack chuckled nervously.
"Actually... now we have to make a plan. See this guy?" He pointed to the being of wind. Wind waved. "He told me Pitch is planning to kill Adaline if I show up... as his revenge on me. So I have to find some way to sneak in there without Pitch noticing." Tooth walked up to the wind being, eyeing him suspiciously.
"Jack.. how do we know we can trust this guy? He seems really... strange." Before Jack could reply, the being of wind bowed and took Tooth's hand.
"I apologize for not introducing myself before, madame.. I am Fredrik, the element of wind. May I know your name? I'm sure it's as beautiful as you are." He spoke as a smitten gentleman. Tooth blushed deeply, doing a small curtsy.
"I-I'm Toothiana, the Tooth Fairy. It's a pleasure to meet you.." Jack and Sandy looked at the two. Jack looked over to Sandy.
"That changed her mind really quickly." He remarked and Sandy nodded in agreement. "Tooth? Fredrik? Can we focus here?" They both looked at Jack, blushing.
"Sorry." They said in unison. They looked at each other and laughed. They got closer to Jack and Sandy so they could form a plan.
"So... now what?"
"They're near... I can feel their presence through my shadows." Pitch turns to Adaline. "Looks like they're going to try to save you. Oh, what a pity. Looks like you're going to die sooner than I thought." He says, false disappointment hanging off of his voice. She looks at him, squirming in the cuffs that held her arms, legs and neck. He smirked, walking closer to her. He made the chains shorter, making it nearly impossible for her to move."You're not going anywhere. Accept it. You're going to die today. There's nothing you can do to change that."
She may be unabe to do anything...
But we are different.
Seven figures appeared. "We will never forgive you for harming our master." They all said in unison. All of the elements, excluding wind, were there. The four dark elements and three of the light elements.
Let's just say Pitch was slightly frightened. Then he noticed something. Shadow, one of the dark elements, was only a half of a being. He remembered. He had the other half of Shadow. He smirked.
"Oh, hello Shadow. Nice to see you again. It's been a few years since I stole half of you." He said menacingly. Shadow glared at him. He walked up to Pitch. He placed his hand on Pitch's forehead, glaring with an icy stare.
"I'm taking my half back." He said lowly. With that, he began to extract the shadows from Pitch's being. Pitch screamed in pain as Shadow ripped out his power from Pitch. Shadow slowly returned to his full being, no longer just a half. Pitch fell to his knees, holding his head in pain. The elements formed a circle around him and joined hands. They started chanting things in Latin, each element saying something different all in unison. A circle of white light surrounded Pitch and he continued to scream. His black sand couldn't help him, as it was all dissolving into nothing.
You lose, Pitch.
