Hey all, I'm so sorry I haven't updated in forever. There's really no excuse, but I'm going to give you one anyway. I have had literally no drive to write anything lately. No motivation whatsoever. I've been addicted to doing nothing productive and hiding away in my little cave of a bedroom as much as I can. That, and I've been kind of pissed lately because there are a couple stories that were randomly deleted out of my docs and so I have to write them all over. One of them literally had over 5,000 words, and now there's only a couple hundred from what I've rewritten so far. So yeah, I'm going to type up this chap and another one as an apology for not updating in so long. I'll try my best to make up for it. A forewarning, I will be busy a lot for a while, because I have a lot of homework. Sophomore year is so, just, ugh. So, again I'm sorry for not updating in so long, and please bear with me for a while, Okay?

Without further ado, here is the next chapter of Unspoken.

He pushed her into the room and...

Ada's eyes widened, and her jaw dropped as she saw what her room looked like.

The bright colors seemed to swirl around her as she saw the beautiful depictions of her elements, each of the light elements sharing a wall with their dark equivalent. The north wall, a flowy depiction of Water and Poisurn dancing together caught her eyes. On the West, Fire and Hellfire were making mischief together. She smiled wide, looking to the east wall, where Air and Dark Light were paying cards, the dark element laughing while his light equivalent was pouting. She turned her wheelchair around and looked to the south wall. Her face grew dim, finding that only one element was there. Earth was there, but where was Shadow? She felt panic surging through her nerves, and she wanted to get up and go look for her lost element, but when she tried to stand from her wheelchair, the immense pain in her gut returned all at once and a strong pair of hands on her shoulders made her sit back down. She looked up at Jack, her eyes begging him to help her look for her element, but Jack shook his head. "You need to recover first, and besides, Shadow is okay." He said, and she looked up at him incredulously.

"And how do you know that?" She asked. "Do you know where he is?" Jack chuckled.

"Just relax, he's alright. He talking with North, he be back when they're done." He ruffled her hair. "Just enjoy your room, I'm going to be right back. Do you want anything?" He asked her, and she thought for a moment.

"Just a small glass of water." Ada said, turning to explore her room. He nodded and left the room quietly. After he left, the ice that was soothing her closing wound was melted again and the pain came back. She held her gut, groaning a bit. Water came out of the north wall and went to her, putting another patch of ice over the wound. Ada smiled, "Thanks, Aqua.." She said softly, and the element smiled, nodding. A small droplet of water landed on Ada's head, along with a small whisper. 'You're welcome.' Ada smiled, watching as Aqua returned to her place on the wall. She silently looked around, wishing she could get up and discover all the secrets of the walls around her.

Jack came back into the room with her glass of water and a cookie in his mouth. He stood beside her and handed her the glass, smiling as he looked around the room from where he stood. "It's amazing in here, isn't it?" He asked wistfully. Ada nodded happily, agreeing.

"Yeah, I love it. It's beautiful.." She said softly as she looked around, longing to just get up and walk around and explore, but with her injury.. Let's just say it wouldn't be wise her her to overexert herself in her current state. Jack smiled at her, knowing how much she hated having to sit and be idle.

"Hey.. Just rest up, okay? We'll explore every corner of this room when you're healed." He said, fixing her hair, which he had previously ruffled. She smiled, closing her eyes as he played with her hair. She liked when he did that, she found it calming. He noticed this, and continued to play with it, jokingly trying wacky styles and strange up-dos. Poisurn held up a mirror for Ada to see herself in, and she laughed at all the crazy ways Jack put her hair. Poisurn eventually got lazy and went back into her wall, and Jack fixed Ada's hair and put it back how it usually was. Ada sighed, smiling. She looked up at him, smiling wide, and Jack chuckled and kissed her forehead. She blushed, looking up at him in surprise. She surely wasn't expecting that, it had kinda come out of no where. "Hey, Let's go visit the others. They haven't seen you yet, they're all still worried." Jack said, starting to turn her wheelchair to face the door. She nodded, looking back once more at her walls.

Jack smiled at her. "They'll be here when we come back. And Shadow will be there too, don't worry." He said, looking at the wall where Shadow was supposed to be. She looked up at him and nodded.

"Okay.. Let's go then." She said, looking towards the door. Jack nodded and pushed her towards the door, and they headed toward the lounge room. Down the halls they went, taking their time to look around at the wondrous scenery of Santoff Claussen. Jack froze a couple elves on their way, and Ada lightly scolded him before laughing.

A few minutes later, they finally made it to the lounge room where the other Guardians were. North cheered loudly when they walked into the room, giving Jack a big hug and patted Ada on her head, thankfully the least pain-inflicting thing he could do with good intentions. Ada was relieved to see Shadow sitting in the corner, looking her way to make sure she was okay. She smiled extra wide to reassure him and then looked to Aster, who had approached her.

"Hey sheila, glad you're good enough to be outta bed." Bunny said, patting her shoulder. She smiled up at him.

"So am I, trust me being stuck in a wheelchair is hard enough, I don't know what I'd do if I was bedridden." She remarks, chuckling. Bunny laughed, and Ada looked to Tooth who flitted around her happily.

"I'm so glad you're okay! My fairies and I were very worried.." She said, laughing nervously. Ada smiled, nodding her head.

"Thank you for your concern, Make sure they all know I'm well, alright?" Ada asked, tilting her head some. Tooth nodded, hovering back so Sandy could talk to Ada.

"Are you feeling alright? How's your wound? Does it hurt? Do you need anything? Water? Ice? Pain killers? I could give you good dreams tonight, if you want. Oh, and how are you feeling? Are you-"

"Sandy!" She stopped him, looking serious at first but then laughing. "Calm down. I'm alright, and I don't need anything at the moment. My dreams have been perfectly fine, my wound is healing, and it doesn't hurt. I'm fine, Sandy. But thank you." Ada smiled sweetly and Sandy nodded, a bit bashful.

Ada turned her wheelchair and faced North, looking up at him. He smiled a bit, "How is wound? Any better?" Ada nodded.

"As long as there's constantly ice on it, I can't feel any pain." Ada chuckles a bit, wishing that she could simply laugh without pain.

The group chattered happily, as they once did centuries ago.

Things were peaceful.

And I will have one more chapter after this, the Epilogue. Then after that I'm (eventually) going to go through the chapters and revise them, add a few things and fix some grammatical mistakes, so yeah, there's that to look forward to. Then look on my profile, you'll see the stories I have coming up next. Thanks for reading, and see you next time!
