Hey guys! Today I fixed my family's truck. I am sorry for the late chapter I had to clean and fix the truck. And my school is drilling me with homework! Just because we are at home instead of at school doesn't mean they should give us more work! Anyways, Enjoy!
I hear everyone's soft breathing as I wake up. "Morning!" I hear Tabors voice say. It's too dark in the Compound to see anything. The lights go on signaling that we have to get up and ready. Groaning, I lay my head back down on the pillow. Laughter and yelling engulfs the room. Tabor jumps down from the bed. "Hey," he says stifling laughter.
"What?" I ask rubbing my eyes. I look up at him and notice that there is a mustache drawn on his face. "Umm" is all I manage to get out before bursting out in laughter.
"Your one to laugh." He says. I gasp and run to the bathroom trying to get to a mirror. When I finally get to an open one I see that everyone has a mustache drawn on their face. Bentley! I rush back to the bunk bed and check under it. He is missing and the blanket and pillow are put back on the empty bed. I change into a shirt and jeans. Walking into the bathroom I see others washing their faces. "Don't bother." Rosie says "whoever did this used permanent marker. It should come off in a few days" I nod. I swear I am going to kill Bentley! I rush through the corridors to get to the dining hall.
"What are you doing?" Hemma asks stopping me
"Move out of my way." I say pushing her
"Not until you tell me what you are doing."
"We are going to have one less person sitting at lunch today." I say looking back.
"Ok, but if you skip lunch don't skip dinner. I want to get a little time with all my friends." I laugh and shake my head. Obviously she doesn't understand what I was talking about. I walk into the dining hall. I see him and Uriah laughing. He is holding a permanent marker.
"So help me God, Bentley." I say walking up to him.
"Stormy, nice mustache!" He says laughing. I grab the collar of his shirt pulling him up to meet my eyes.
"I don't think that is necessary!" A girl yells walking up to me. I let go of his collar and sit down in the empty chair next to the one she sits in. "I guess he got all the initiates then?" She asks. I look at her with a questioning look. There was no sign of marker on her face. She takes out a wipe and wipes her mouth. The mustache shows.
"It's makeup. Here." She takes out a bag and goes through all of her skin tones comparing them to my skin. When she gets the right tone she puts some on the back of her hand and covers where the drawing is then does the same to herself with her tone.
"Do you mind skipping breakfast?" I ask
"No, I only come down here because I have nothing better to do. Why?"
"Come on." I grab her arm and pull her all the way to the transfer dorms.
"I'm not allowed in there." She says stopping at the door.
"Wait right here!" I say rushing into the dormitory "Abby, where is your mustache." Hemma asks. I ignore her
"LISTEN UP EVERYONE!" I yell getting everybody's attention "There is a girl outside with makeup who can cover up the Mustache that was drawn on your face! Anyone who doesn't want to walk around with a marker mustache today come with me."
"No way in hell I am putting on makeup!" Jax yells
"Yeah!" All the other guys yell. I look over at Asher and Tabor. They stay where they are. "Sorry" Tabor mouths
"Okay girls! Come with me!" I say walking out the door. The girls line up. The girl is able to match everyone's skin tones and apply the makeup in about five minutes.
"Don't worry. It's water proof. It shouldn't come off during training." She says picking up all of her stuff and putting it in a bag.
"Thank you." I say helping her. She looks at her watch. "Lauren will have my hide if I am late." She says walking off "it was Nice to meet you."
"You too!" I yell back. Dang it! I forgot to catch her name.
This morning was more of the same thing in training. In other words we shot guns for hours then were dismissed for lunch. I walk into the dining hall with my food and sit down at our table.
"I thought you were skipping lunch?" Hemma asks
"No, I was going to kill him." I point over to Bentley
"Luckily, Kenna stepped in!" He says pointing to the girl that helped this morning.
"So that's her name!" I say
"Yes, and it is very rude not to learn someone's name, Stormy" he says waving a finger at me.
"Kenna!" I yell. She looks around and smiles when she sees who it is. "Where did you learn that name?" She asks sitting down at our table.
"Guess." Bentley says. She punches him so hard he falls out of his chair.
"Please don't call me that." She says looking down at her food.
"What should I call you?" I ask
"Call me myst."
"What kind of name is that?" Hemma asks
"Hmm let's see the kind that isn't going to be made fun of or the smart-mouth that made fun of it is going to end up with a bruise right on their pretty little face. Am I clear?" She says taking a bite of her food Hemma nods.
"Why don't we go back to the dorms until lunch is over?" Hemma says pulling me out of my seat. I get up and walk with her.
"I don't like that girl." She says when we get to the pit.
"Loosen up a bit! She's just a little defensive."
"A little!"
"Yes, and I would appreciate it if you wouldn't anger the girl that is providing a way for us to hide the marker on our faces."
"Fine! Who do you think did it? I have my suspicions on Jax."
"It wasn't Jax." I say "it was Bentley."
"What, you are crazy girl! It couldn't have been! He isn't allowed in the... oh!" She says the details clicking. "I thought he left."
"I stupidly hid him from Four and Six by putting him under our bunk. I thought he was asleep."
"Well obviously he wasn't."
"Yeah." I say. We arrive back at the dorms. I look at my watch to see how much time we have left. Unbelievable! We just got here and now we have to go back to the training room! "Come on." I say with obvious annoyance. We run down the halls to get to the training room. We make it down there just in time. There are mats rolled out on the floor.
I am So sorry for this chapter. I hate it. I hope you liked it. Anyways remember, stay awesome, stay lucky, and peace out!
