The young colt laid on top of his... 'castle' made out of pillows. Celestia had walked off while carrying Twilight within her magic grip telling him specifically not to touch anything. For now, he had obeyed well enough... though he had to admit, leaving a colt within a laboratory? Not the best idea eh?
Withstanding his inner demons to become a crazy scientist he sighed as he looked outside of the window.
This... 'princess' (he still didn't believe her) was gone for several hours already, she looked like she was ready to murder somebody or 'somepony' as they liked to call it.
'Have I taken this too far?' he thought at the amount of rage in her eyes but then shook his head. 'Nah, she deserves it.' he mused out. IT was kind of weird... ever since he left the sun and with that mo...
He stopped the second he wanted to speak the word out realizing something. How long has he been calling her mother or mom already? His head began to hurt as he slightly shivered as all he could think of was resting in her nice warm and soft mane.
What the fu...-
That was when the door opened and a rather dark orange head popped out.
"Ah I would have thought that you were already asleep, young colts such as you need their rest." Ah yeah it was... Luna right? She quickly came in and closed the door behind her observing the pile of pillows he was laying on.
"I see you have already prepared yourself." she spoke almost in the same tone as his mother would, which made him gag.
"Can you please stop with the whole little talk? You are going to make me vomit." Hearing this the mare frowned slightly but still closed in.
"I can not help it if you seem so comfortable." she spoke as her smile came back.
"Well I ain't. No really, it feels like I am laying on top of a stone right now." he said kicking it to the side before laying down on the ground. "I don't even feel a difference."
The mare blinked but used her horn to bring a new pillow to herself before sitting down on it.
"I see, well you should still be able to sleep properly. Especially if I will sing you a lullaby!" she spoke with a smile.
"Don't."
"But I must!" she continued with enthusiasm
"Are you a disney princess?"
"A what? I am a princess yes, bu..."
"Then you don't have to sing anything." he spoke as he laid down. The mare sighed quietly.
"So this is what sister has warned me about, you should perhaps speak with more respect."
"Yeah respect to my captors horai!"
The mares eye twitches for a moment.
"In former times ponies have been burned alive for less"
"Okay boomer."
Taking several deep breaths she noticed a book bellow him. Smiling slightly she asked
"Are you interested in learning our culture now?"
"Well, knowledge is power as far as I know."
"Finally something we can agree on, where have you found it?"
"That... Twilight I think was sleeping on top of it."
Raising her eyebrow she opened it and flipped through the pages then suddenly froze.
"You alright?" he asked with half lidded eyes.
"H-Have... have you been looking through it... already?"
"Not really what is it? Give it to me." he held his hoof out only for the mare to close it shut revealing a bright blush.
"N-Nay there is no need to. Go to sleep now young one, I shall guard your dreams."
"... alright..." he spoke laying down. The mare gazed at him for several moments and laid down herself, perhaps she could get some work do...-
"... its always the librarians huh?" aaaaaaaaaaaand she was awake for the night.
Dawnbreaker groaned in frustration as he was once again sitting in the library now underneath all of these pillows. Perhaps testing out his strength while in the room next to it was some sort of noble meeting wasn't the greatest idea but hey... at least now he knows that he is able to slam a stallion through what looked like 30 cm thick stone blocks. Why so specific? Well lets just say somebody errr 'pony' called Blueblood now learned how to properly speak to peo... UGH ponies.
His head still ached form the puns that this race made. Everything else is completely the same, normal English but the puns... dear god he feels like the world was preparing him to become a dad. But that was not all, whatever he felt yesterday it got a lot worser. Something inside him was trying to kill him, he was sure. He felt cold, uncomfortable even tired from the sleepless nights prior and when he thought it couldn't get worse it seems like god or rather Faust just send him the middlefinger.
"He-llo!" came a rather higher voice from the door. This time a really bright... alicorn? Was it that what Celestia called their race? Entered the room. From what he could gather he knew that her coat was rather bright but not like Celestias, just a little darker and she was also a LOT smaller than her and Luna.
"Ahhh it feels like I am 16 again!" she smiled widely as Dawnbreaker kept underneath his structure like a bunker. "Dawnbreaker where are you?" she asked looking around before a wide smile came to her face "Oh are we playing hide and seek?"
The colt didn't know what was wrong with her. From what he understood so far she had been the babysitter of Twilight AND on top of that she was supposed to be some sort of princess of love... that explains why the former was reading through that boo-
ERM what I am trying to say is that Dawnbreaker was still a little freaked out about her. She had the same vipe as his mother did, but while the later had a reason she didn't and also kicked it up by ten.
"Now I wonder where he could be..." 9/10 would use plasmagun again
It was obvious that she already knew where he was, the several peeks she took at him was enough. Finally though she slowly made her way to him making him shudder. Nope he was not going through this again.
"Aaaaaaand got you!" Cadence giggled as she pushed the pillows out of the way only to find nobody underneath. Looking left and right she finally found a certain someone near a window. Her eyes widened as he let out a salute before climbing outside.
"DAWNBREAKER!" she screeched as she instantly ran towards the window before looking upwards to see an orange tail waver at the next window. She ran towards the door ramming it down with the hinges breaking down. With speed that rivaled Rainbow Dash she was already on the next floor (which was the armory) only to see the younger stallion stare at the swords there with fascination.
"Dawnbreaker you might hurt yourself!" she shouted but he was already bolting off with her following. Panting quietly at the hundreds of stairs he was running up she stopped halfway panting.
"I... by Celestia she is right I am getting old..." she looked to the side to see the colt sliding down the side downwards again. "That's it you are grounded!" she shouted as she followed him.
The colt didn't listen as he instead ran left and right, from one side of the royal palace to the next with the guards only staring at the sweating princess dashing after the young 'bundle of joy' she so often called. On the way they found themselves crossing ways with nopony else but Blueblood who was almost immediately slammed aside, which did result in a small giggle by the princess... what you don't expect her to like him just because they are cousins do you?
Finally the colt stopped at the library with the princess literally crawling after him. Eventually she reached him grabbing the colt by the leg.
"You..." she panted. "are groun...ded..." she spoke falling into unconsciousness. Seeing her like this did bring a small piece of pity inside him... a small bit... like... the size of an atom... okay... a proton... neutron? electorn? Quarks? Okay the size of a quark. With that in mind he looked at the rather large bunker he still had before lowering himself. The mare was REALLY light. He easily picked her up with little to no effort at all. Probably had to be due to the increased gravity he had back at the sun.
He quickly pulled her back to the pillows before placing her down on them. She took a small pillow and pressed it against herself protectively hold it as if it was her own foal. This resulted a small stab inside heart. He just had to think of his mom didn't he?
Sighing quietly he laid down on the ground beside her... remember he still felt no difference. They said it was impossible for him to get back didn't they? Sighing quietly he rolled to his side, a strain of his orange mane covering his mouth. Gripping it he remembered when he was back in her embrace.
With narrowed eyes he made a decision. He would wait for her, even if it would take longer than the millennium she spoke of.
...
…
…
Little did he know that he would see her soon enough as a few hooded ponies stared inside the window, all carrying the same golden necklace in the shape of a sun.
'Primo Sol.' was engraved in them.
