Hey guys! In this chapter we have the fight between Jax and Stormy. I did change some of the characters names (no huge changes) Stormy's real name is Addy now. Addison Gayle. Is her full name. Anyways I hope you Enjoy!
my heart races as I see what Four has written on the board. I thought i would have a little time to prepare myself, but no, I had to fight him again today! Most of the fights have finished. On the board are the names of the winners: Hemma, Lola, and Sabastian. Tabor and Matt walk up to the Mat. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" I hear Six ask Four. "She won against him once she can do it again." He says looking straight forward. Tabor and Matt fight for a little while before Tabor is pinned and Matt is on top of him, out of breath. "Hmmm, I thought Matt would lose to your little boyfriend." Jax says walking up to me. "Now remember our deal, but You do need to put up a small struggle. We wouldn't want Four knowing that you snuck out... would we?" I shake my head and walk up to the mat. I hate the feeling that this is giving me. I can't do anything. Jax is opposite to me. We start and I throw a punch at him hitting his shoulder. I try to keep from aiming at his face. He hits me in the stomach, but I try to not let it phase me. Then, he punches me in the face. The area he made contact with burns. I put my hand to it and when I pull away there is blood on my hand. He broke the skin. I wipe the blood on my shirt and kick him. Maybe a little harder than I wanted. Jax lets out a small chuckle. While my leg is still in the air he grabs it and pulls, making me lose my balance and fall to the ground. My head and shoulders slam into the ground followed by my back then finally my legs. Instead of getting up I stay down. He kicks me in the stomach and I curl up. "Get up" I hear someone mutter from the side. I do just that; I get onto my knees. Jax pushes me down so he is on top of me. His hand is on my chest. "Stay there." He says. I push his hand off of me and he knees me in the stomach. My body tries to curl up, but Jax's weight won't let me. He hits me hard in the jaw. Pain radiates from the punch and my eyesight starts to blur. "That's enough." A deep voice says. The pressure that was on my stomach is lifted, Telling me that Jax stopped. I try to move my arm, but it hurts too much. I hadnt realized he did anything to my arms. Tabor runs to me and pulls me up so I am standing. "Are you Okay?" He asks the room is spinning around me.
"I'm fine." I say putting some of my weight to his shoulder.
"Yeah, No you're not."
"I'm telling you, I'm fine."
"I'm taking you to the infirmary."
"I don't need to go. I can stay here."
"Try to stand by yourself." He lets go of me and I stumble a bit before obtaining my balance.
"See, I'm fine."
"Sure." He says wrapping my arm around his neck. I don't stop him. I let him help me. Four and Six pull out two targets and put them parallel to each other. They both stand in front of a target. "I can't believe you talked me into this!" Four says twirling a knife in his hand. "Shut up and stand still." Six yells holding a knife up. She takes in a deep breath and throws the knife at him. What the actual heck?! The knife lands right next to his cheek. "Your turn!" She yells Four straightens up and aims his knife. Everyone is silent. He releases it and it lands inches away from Six's arm. This action is followed by gasps and sighs of relief. "You can get closer than that." Six yells throwing the next knife above his head without any care. He throws one right above her head. "Last two." She throws her last knife landing it straight next to Four's cheek boxing in his head. She nods and Four throws the knife so close to her face. Then, I see it. A red liquid trickles down her cheek, blood. She laughs. Everyone starts clapping and Eric walks in. Where did he come from? "Deja vu." He says walking over to Six. "I guess I am too late?" He asks
"If you mean for the fights, we just finished."
"Man, I really wanted to see that."
"Too bad." Four says
"Yeah, too bad." He says walking up to me. He places a hand on my cheek where Jax had split. His hands were ice cold. I stiffen are the touch. "Hmm." He says before walking out of the room. Everyone starts talking. "Just because Eric left doesn't mean that you get to start talking!" Four yells. Everyone goes silent. "Grab three knives each." He motions to a table full of silver throwing knives. We all grab our knives. Right now all I care about is the pounding in my head. I dont even care if I am staring or whatever all I want to do is sleep. I walk up to the empty target in between Rosie and Lola. My aim is off today. I haven't hit the target once. The knives keep on bouncing off the platform. The clattering of metal hitting the concrete floor is the only thing that can be heard. Come on.. why is this so hard for me? Shooting was easy! Why is throwing a knife any different. It doesn't make any sense! I start getting frustrated and start just chucking the knives as hard as I can. After maybe, a minute of doing that I Finally, hit it.
"Good job!!!" Rosie squeaks giving me a big hug. The fresh bruises on my body don't like it whatsoever. I stiffen and she gasps. "Did I hurt you?"
"No, you didn't." I say pushing her off of me.
"Jax did." Lola says never breaking concentration. "How did he do it?"
"What do you mean?" I ask trying to copy her motions.
"Get into your head. Last time you beat him easily. I doubt he just miraculously won."
She doesn't know what was happening? "He didn't do anything. Yesterday I was angry. Today I wasn't." If he didn't tell her then she wasn't supposed to know.
"Hmm, I guess I forgot to add Emotion as a factor. Oh well." She shrugs and keeps on throwing. I try to mimic her excact motions. I start hitting the target more accurately now. My headache has started to die down and my vision is steadying.
"Pick up the knives and get out of here!' Four yells catching our attention. We all stop throwing and pick up the knives on the floor and on the target. We place them on the table and pile out of the door. "Come on!" I yell running through the hallway. The more I run the worse my headache gets and the dizzier. I try to ignore the headache and the blurring in my vision. I fall and everything goes black.
My vision is extremely blurry. Where am I? This doesn't look like the corridors. Why do I taste metal? What's happening.
"I think she's waking!" A distorted voice says "Addy, are you okay?" No, idiot I am obviously not okay, I woke up in a mysterious area with a metal taste in my mouth what do you think?! My vision starts to clear slightly. The room I am in has all white walls. There were three people in the room. One person I didn't recognize, Tabor, and Hemma. "Haven't heard that name in a while." I say with a slight chuckle. "Where the heck am I? Is this still dauntless compound?!" I ask shooting up.
"Yes, yes it is." Tabor says in a soft voice. I hate that voice. Everyone has one. It's a hospital voice. I know it too well with how much I visited Tabor's Mom with him in the Hospital. She had heart trouble and had to stay in the Erudite hostpital. "You need to take it easy." The doctor says helping lower me back down onto the bed. "You have a concussion."
"What?"
"A concussion?!" Myst and the others come in. The doctor steps out of the room to give us some privacy.
"What happened?" Myst asks.
"It's just a concussion."
"Will you be able to continue Training?" I forgot to ask. Will I?
"Yes, she will." Tabor answers for me. "I spoke with Six and she said she would be more than willing to allow Addy to train with her after she gets better."
"That's wonderful!" Rosie says. They all sit down on the floor.
"You know you don't have to stay. Go eat lunch."
"Nuh-uh, we aren't leaving you." The stuff says
"You know I wouldn't do the same if it was any of ya'll. Right?"
"Yeah, we know." My door bursts open. Bentley is standing there with a confused look on his face.
"KARMA!!" He yells "you taped me to the ceiling last night and now you have a concussion!"
"You can't prove that was me."
"You did what?!" Hemma asks
"I didn't tape Bentley to the ceiling alright."
"Keep lying like that and your family won't even recognize you on Visiting Day."
"Bentley! Get back here!" A loud voice echoed through the halls. Reid's face pops around the door frame. "Hi Stormy." He says
"Took you long enough! I thought I told you to watch Bentley!" Myst yells this is more I like it! Everyone is acting themselves.
"I was! This little dude got out one of his hidden paintball guns and started shooting me as he ran."
"We need to confiscate those." I say sitting up slowly. Reid grabs Bentley by the shoulder and pulls him out of the room. I pull myself to the side of the bed and try to stand up. I stand up too fast and get light headed. Luckily, Tabor catches me. "You need to rest. We'll be back Tomorrow. We have to get Down to Training." "He says kissing my forehead "bye." I sit back down on the bed. It doesn't feel right to be laying around instead of actually running and training. I notice that there is a book someone left on my Night stand. It looked extremely old, but well taken care of. The cover was a simple red with the edges peaking slightly. The pages were bent from being flipped through so often. I wonder who left this here. I pick it up and start reading.
hey, I enjoyed that. Maybe a little too much for what it's worth, but it was fun. I am happy that y'all have been liking the series so far. I hope I can continue it. Anyways, remember stay awesome, stay lucky, and peace out.
