Hey guys!! My writing schedule has been off mainly because I started watching this really cool anime called My Hero Academia. It is awesome. I also binged Mandolorian yesterday because it was starwars day!!!! May the fourth be with you!! Enjoy!
Rosie's POV:
It was hard seeing Stormy in the infirmary like that. She seemed to be doing so well during training... or was I just not being observant. "Your thinking about something." Asher says catching up to me as we walk down the hallways to get back to the training room.
"Yes, I am."
"What is it?"
"Nothing. Just... stuff."
"Stuff huh?"
"Yeah." He shrugs
"Race ya!!" He shouts starting to run.
"Cheater!" I yell chasing after him. People always say he looks like this gloomy guy, but I don't see it. He is this cheerful boy who is really funny and sweet. I don't understand how they could see my brother as anything but that. I run down the hallways trying to find a way to the training room quickly. I haven't found a shortcut there yet. That is kinda one of my things, finding short cuts. I did it in amity and after a while I was one of the best kids at Tag and hide and go seek and all sorts of other games. He gets to the doors before me and slams into them. We laugh as I slow down to a walk to get over to him. "What do you think Four and Six have in store for us today?" He asks. I shrug my shoulders telling him that I have no idea. I pray it isn't more fighting; I might be fine with knife throwing. I was really good at that. Asher pushes open the door so I can come in. I walk in to see the training room completely bare. There were no mats on the floor, no targets, and no weapons on a table. We get into our usual spots on the wall as we wait for Four and Six to explain what is going on.
Six keeps on checking her watch. "Come with us." She finally says walking out the door. We all follow behind her and Four. She leads us through some halls and out to the train platform. We stand and wait for what I assume is the train. Unbelievable, we were out last night to play capture the flag and now we are out again to do who knows what. "What's going on?" Matt asks. Thank God he asked. I don't think I would have been able to no matter how curious I was. "You will know soon enough." Six yells over the train as it approaches. We all run next to it like we did last night. I throw myself into the car landing on my side. Asher grabs onto a handle and pulls himself in with ease. "You know, you should really learn how to do that without earning a bruise every time." He says sitting down. I notice that Tabor is all alone in a corner. I stand up and go sit next to him. It isn't right for someone to be all alone. "Hi." I say
"Hey." He sounds stressed
"Are you okay? You seem worried."
"Addy is in the infirmary what do you think?"
"You care about her that much?"
"Yes, but no it's.. it's not that. I just haven't had a very good experience with hospitals. You wouldn't understand." What was he talking about? Had he been in the hospital for something? Was he talking about when he broke Stiff's jaw? Yeah, let's go with that. I place my hand on his shoulder to comfort him. "Stormy is in good hands. The doctors said she would be fine."
"Yeah, but how do they know that for sure."
"Alright everyone we're jumping in 5...4...3.." Four yells. I stand up and pull Tabor up next to me. "2...1!" We all sprint out of the train and land in the grass. Unfortunately, I land on an ant pile. I don't think they were fire ants. They just crawled all over my arm. We walk over to the wall that separated the amity farms from the rest of the city. Four walked us through each area showing us around. "This is where the initiates with the lower rankings end up." He explains. We start walking along the path when a truck pulls up. I see my old friend, River, one of the initiates from last year, Robbert, a boy, and a girl both of whom I don't recognize. I didn't really get to know much about Robbert. He walks over to Six and hugs her while the dauntless members search the truck. The boy walks over the the Stiff. He seems to be introducing her to the girl. One of the Dauntless girls runs and hugs the Amity around the neck, knocking her to the floor. I watch as the stiff and the boy exchange words before I feel a hug around me. I startle and try to kick whoever was behind me. "Dauntless seems to have taken a toll on you two." River says turning me around "Just me. Your friend from amity and only your friend." Why was he acting so awkward? Oh... yeah, I forgot...
"It didn't mean anything."
"What do you mean? You kiss me the night before the choosing ceremony and then you leave?" Why does he have to make such a big deal about it? It was just a kiss. I was scared, he was around and I kissed him.
"Exactly. I left." I say defensively
"Please don't tell me you left Amity because of me."
"No, I didn't. Okay?"
"N-"
"Good. The dauntless member's are almost done searching the truck. Why don't you go ahead and start working your way back over there." I point to the truck.
"Rosie, get back over here!!" Stiff yells waving her arms. River looks up at her and raises his eyebrows. "Well we better part." River says hugging me one last time. He squeezes me tighter than he usually does and runs back to the truck with Robbert and the two other people. I run in the opposite direction towards my friends. "Who was that?" Hemma asks
"It was no one."
"It didn't seem like no one!"
"He was a... friend."
"Sure..." she says walking away. We tour the rest of the wall until the sun starts to set. By this time everyone was tired and sore. We get back onto the train and head home. It was nice getting to see amity. I miss my Mom. My aunt is the closest thing I have to her now. When we get back I grab some food and head to the infirmary. I knock on the door. "Come in!" Stormy yells. I open the door to see tears in her eyes. "Are you alright?"
"This freaking book!" She yells throwing a book across the room.
"What happened?"
"The main character just went and got herself shot!" Note to self don't read that book.
"Oh no." I say with as much sympathy as I can. I place my tray on the night stand.
"Can I have some?" Stormy asks pointing to the cake.
"Do they not feed you here?" I ask
"They do, but it's cake." I sigh.
"Just a bite." She takes a fork and takes a bite. There's a knock on the door and the doctor walks in. "Well," she says "you should be ready to go." Stormy grins and starts to sit up. "Finally!" She says.
"First we need to do some last tests." Stormy groans as she positions herself on the edge of the bed. "What?"
"I just need to check your vitals and your reflexes and you should be good to go." He runs the final tests. "You seem to be fine. Sign out at the front desk and you two can go. If you experience any blurred vision or dizziness come back. You should also keep from exercising for the next twenty four hours." We nod and I help Stormy up so we can get back to the dining hall before dinner is ready. I want to surprise Tabor with her! We sign her out and I take her through the short cut. Please don't let FerFer be there please oh please don't let her be there. Don't get me wrong I love my aunt to pieces, my cousins too. She can smother people sometimes though, and right now I think that's the last thing that Stormy needs. We walk through the door to the kitchen. Thank God! Tonight was one of the other cooks. We quickly pass through the kitchen and try to make our way over to the table. I drag Stormy trying to get her back to Tabor. We slide into our seats and wait for people to notice.
"Oh thank goodness!" Tabor says grabbing Stormy's hand.
"KARMA!!" Bentley shouts I try to keep from giggling.
"Can you not right now." Stormy says rolling her eyes.
"You taped me to the ceiling and then you pass out! It was Karma!!"
"I did not tape you to the ceiling."
"Yes you did!"
"Hmm, I wonder who I should believe. The previous Candor or the guy that has almost pranked everyone in the faction at least once." Myst says. It is honestly very weird hearing her. She is a new addition to the group.
"Not almost!" Bentley mutters.
"I'm sorry what?"
"Not almost!" He says louder
"How many people have you pranked then?"
"Umm... everyone."
"What did you do?"
"It was January 21, I was running out of ideas. Then the best one came to me. I had Uriah nick some peace serum and I payed one of the cooks to put it in the cake. She was a really sweet lady. Anyways you were all super duper weird and quirky. Best. Prank. Ever."
"You did not!"
"Maybe I did maybe I didn't. You decide."
"I think I would remember if I was under peace serum." Bentley pulls out his phone and shows it to her.
"Explain that."
"I don't remember that! That has to be fake!"
"Look at the date."
"January 21" she mutters. Bentley laughs "hah! I told you!" She pushes him slightly and begins to eat her food. I start eating my food. It's cold, but I don't care because I am hungry! We finish up our food and head back to the dorms for a good nights rest. To our surprise Four and six were in their wating for us with a small chalk board. My stomach drops. Whatever this is, it can't be good.
hey guys! Again I have been watching my hero academia. Totally recommend for anyone! Anyways, my schedules been a bit off and I am trying to fix it. I'm sorry for being a day late. Also, I am running out of ideas for what should happen. Please review with some ideas. Writers block is so annoying. Anyways remember, stay awesome, stay lucky, and peace out!!
