Then everything in the universe seemed to slow down. The gravity became less forceful. Galaxies in the distance stopped turning. The planets stopped revolving around the sun. Uriel's voice became slower and slower and the oncoming demonic fleat was put on pause as though someone had taken a picture in this very moment and kept it as a keep sake. All except for Micheal that is. She stood and dusted some of the copper from the surface off of her angelic robes and snapped her fingers in a sassy fashion to help miricle some of the blood off her angelic robes making them as prestine white as the day she was born on the second day of creation. She had to look lovely for her angelic boo after all.

Then she saw the pair of gothic looking figures in the distance. Death was there of course but he was just an onlooker and would mention nothing. Azreal, on the other hand, was to Micheal in a second.

"My love..." Micheal said astonished. In the many different stars that were visible from above, she looked as beautiful as ever. Her pale skin glimmered and her crystal blue eyes stared piercing at Micheal's face.

"It has been far too long. Every minute I spend away from you is torture." Azreal said with a lustful gentleness to her voice.

And with that their lips met and a million and one stars seemed to erupt in the world around them. Azreal's only hand met with Micheal's hand and her thumb skimmed the softeness of the back of the hand she found there.

Micheal tasted of the clouds of Heaven and the battlefields of Jupiter.

Azreal tasted of the fresh pines of Earth and the smooth grasses landscapes.

They pulled apart and their eyes met once more. The silence was deafening as everything had stopped exactly where it was.

"So...have you ever seen the planets and stars when the entire universe is on pause?" Micheal whispered gently as she softly pressured her forehead to Azreal's and continued to gaze into those crystal blue eyes with adoration for the angel standing before her.

Azreal giggled gwntely and a blush slowly crept accross her cheeks and nose a stark contrast to the rest of her pale face. The growing smile was a nice addition too. She normally always looked so angry and sad. But then again seeing humans kill each other in the worst of ways and holding a dying child's hand would do that to an angel. "No my love. I can't say that I have."

"Would you like to?"

"You know I could never pass up an oppurtunity to try and see something new. And as long as it doesn't have anything to do with those awful humans I am all for it."

Death was watching from a distance as a silent observer and Azreal and Micheal unfolded their feathery wings and went skyward to enjoy the stars. It was a bittersweet moment for he knew something the two of the did not.
