Chapter 4
Inside Castle Krakenburg located in the heart of Windmire, the main capital of Nohr, Princess Azura walked towards the throne room with only the sound of her footsteps being faintly heard within the hallway. However, once she saw the doors leading to the throne room the light blue haired noblewoman saw her elder Prince Xander standing in place obviously waiting for her and their other siblings to arrive before adding in to see their Father, King Garon. And so once she as she continued walking towards her older brother Azura smiled as she greeted him with, "Xander, good morning to you."
"Hmm? Oh Azura, good morning. I am glad to see you arrive here a bit earlier then usual." The High Prince remarked, while a small smile formed on his face.
"Yes, of course. I had gotten an early start to my day today thanks to Gunter getting my things ready for me. Because of this I was able to get here when I did." Azura explained before she heard footsteps hearind in her and Xander's direction.
And upon looking down the hallway that was in front of her she saw her three other siblings heading towards them. Seeing this prompted her to smile a little as her youngest sister Elise greeted her with, "Hi, Big Sister. I'm so happy to see you."
"Elise dear, you can see Azura whenever you want. But I can't help but agree with you." Azura older ssiter Camilla remarked, as a smile formed on her face. Azura then saw her extend her arms while she walked towards her and added, "Now, why don't you come here and give your big sister a hug?"
After this had been said the golden eyed young woman found herself being pulled up against the other princess before her young brother Leo commented with, "I'm sorry, Sister. But I think you'll have to make your hug a quick since I am certain Father is waiting for us."
"Yes, I suppose you're right brother dear." The purple haired woman replied, disappointment clear in her voice.
Upon being let go though Azura was going to suggest spending time with her two sisters since the three of them seemed to enjoy each other's company. But before she could make said suggestion the doors to the throne room were opened and she and her siblings walked into the room. As they did this though Azura saw her father, King Garon sitting on his throne as he greeted them with, "Greetings my children. I trust that you have brought me good news?"
"If you are referring to the whereabouts of the missing Princess of Hoshido then I am afraid that is not the case, Father." Xander informed his father, which prompted the old king to frown. And his anger only seemed to get worse as the High Prince of Nohr continued, "Because none of the search parties have found any sings of her here in Nohr. And even our spies have reported that she has not returned to Hoshido either."
"I see. It seems that wretched girl must be hiding somewhere that we have not checked yet." King Garon coldly remarked, anger clear in his voice. He then stood up off of his throne when he ordered, "With that said though I want you to continue with sending out search parties Xander. And this goes for the rest of you as well. I want Princess Corrin found as soon as possible. Because once we have her we can bring Hoshido to it's knees."
"Yes, of course Father. And just to make sure that our soldiers find her. I will lead the main search party myself." Xander replied, with determination in his voice.
Upon saying this Azura saw their father narrow his eyebrows before he remarked back, "Good. And you had best not fail me, boy." To the white dressed princess's surprise she then saw him move his gaze to her before he told her, "And Azura, I know that you enjoy singing. But I have grown tired of hearing it over these years. So from this day forth you are forbidden from singing in this castle. However, if you wish to sing in your own castle then that is fine. Just be sure to not do so when you are in my presence. Is that clear?"
"Yes, I...I understand Father." The light blue haired singer replied, with a sadden expression her face.
"Good girl. Now that is all for today. You may all leave me now." Garon said, to which Azura and her siblings turned and walked out of the throne room. Once they had left the room though the King of Nohr added out loud to himself, "Curse that girl! I don't know how she did it, but she must be hiding someplace that my men cannot find. However, once I do have her then I can fulfill my Master's wishes and bring an end to both Hoshido and Nohr." After he had uttered those words he let out a loud laughter of that of a madman.
Xander let out a heavy sigh after he and his siblings had lfet the throne room as he had hoped his father would have given up on finding Princess Corrin. But during these last few years the prince had noticed that his father had somehow become obsessed with finding her. The eldest Prince of Nohr decided to put those thoughts to the side when he saw Azura let out a heavy sigh of her own. Seeing this prompted him to walk up to her while he told her, "Azura I know you are disappointed to not be able to sing in these halls anymore. But I just wanted to tell you that I enjoy your singing very much. And you are more then free to sing whenever you visit me at my castle. And I am certain our other siblings feel the same way."
"Thank you, Xander. That makes me feel a bit better." The light blue haired princess replied, as she looked up at her older brother. Upon doing this the magenta eyed man saw his sister place a hand underneath her chin before she added, "But I am worried about our father. He seems to be dead set on finding Princes Corrin. However, if she is not in either Nohr or Hoshido, then perhaps she might have been sent to one of the Deeprealms."
"Deeprealms, you say? Hmm, I never would have thought of that. Good thinking Azura, I will send our search parties to those areas right away. And I will be sure to tell them to not harm any people who may live there since their only mission will be to find the Hoshido Princess." Xander stated, before he walked away from his sister to get ready to find the missing princess. But as he walked down the hallway he thought to himself, "However, if we do not find the princess there then I'd best not inform Father. If he asks of the matter I will just say that the search is still going on. I know that such an answer will anger him, but hopefully he will be understanding since this is such an odd situation."
