Chapter 6

Corrin continued to stare with a slightly confused look on her face upon being led to a underground arena with a wrestling ring in the center of it. But while she did this she asked Snow, "Um Snow, I thought you said yesterday that you were going to train me on how to properly use this sword?"

"That is correct, Lady Corrin. Which is why I have brought you here to the underground arena." Snow explained, before he mentioned to the empty bleachers taht were spread across the room. Once h did this he added, "But as you can see since these bleachers are empty you will be able to train without any distractions."

"But don't I need a partner if I'm going to practice?" The young woman remarked, as she walked towards the beastman.

Once she was standing in front of him though Corrin was a bit surprised when she was handed a wooden practice sword. But as she looked at it the anthro lion explained, "Yes, you do need a partner if you wish to practice to your full capabilities. But do not worry for I had the perfect partner in mind."

The sliver haired young woman wanted to ask what the butler meant. However, she never got the chance as she heard him put two of his up against his lips and blow outward making the sound similar to a whistle. After he did this the young woman heard someone run towards them, and upon turning around she saw a dog beastman run towards them on all fours before he came to a completely stop in front of her. When he did this Corrin's red eyes widen in surprise when the black and green furred beastman kept his lower body on the ground while he did a solute and asked, "Is it time for training?"

"Yes, Garmr. But before we begin don't you think you should introdcue yourself to Lady Corrin first?" Snow suggested, to which the young woman saw the dog beastman turn his head to face her.

"Yes!" The yellow eyed beastman stated, before Corrin saw him give her a big smile. Once he had dun this he added, "Hello Mistress Corrin, Garmr is happy to meet you."

The young woman returned the smile while she replied, "It's very nice to meet you, Garmr. But you don't have to put the word Mistress before my name. I really don't mind if you just call me Corrin."

"Okay!" The anthro dog happily told her, before a serious look appeared on his face.

Seeing this prompted her to also get into a fighting position as she saw the black and green furred dog get onto all fours before he charged towards her. The young woman did her best to not be surprised by the approaching beastman's actions as she quickly dodged out Garmr's way when he jumped and attempted to lunge at her. Once he had landed the red eyed young woman run up to him and hit him with the wooden practice sword causing him to yelp in pain a little.

Upon doing this though Corrin let out a gasp of surprise when anthro dog quickly turned around and grabbed the wooden sword with his teeth. This caught the young woman off guard as she narrowed her eyebrows as she did her best to remove the practice weapon from Garmr's jaws. But while she pulled Corrin couldn't help but notice the beastman's tail wag from side to side in what she assumed was happiness.

Seeing this action confused the slivered haired woman ass he asked herself, "Did he seriously just turn my training session into some sort of play session?" Although upon seeing a slight gleam in the black and green furred dog's yellow colored eyes Corrin mentally sighed ass she added, "Oh well, I guess I might as well humor him." She then proceeded to clear her throat before she told him, "Garmr, do you want to play fetch?"

Corrin knew that her question had got his attention once the anthro dog's left ear twitch as he let go of the wooden sword and asked, "Mistress Corrin is going to play with Garmr?" Corrin nodded her head in a yes motion which caused the beastman to smile happily while he continued with, "Yay, play, play!"

But before she could throw the wooden item through the air she heard Snow's voice when he said, "Garmr, what did I tell you earlier today?"

"Um, Snow said to train with Mistress Corrin. And um if Garmr did good job then Garmr would get a treat." Garmr answered back, to which Corrin turned to face the lion beastman.

Upon doing this though she saw a displeased look on the blue furred butler's face as he suggested, "Very good. But if you don't listen then you won't get rewarded. Is that clear?"

"Ah, y-yes!" The dog beastman stuttered back with a shocked look on his face.

Corrin rubbed the back of her neck with her hand after hearing what the anthro lion had while she apologized with, "I'm sorry, Snow. I know I shouldn't have offered to play with him."

"There is no need to apologize, Lady Corrin." The green eyed beastman reassured her followed by letting out a light sigh. Once he this she saw him give her while he added, "Just please make sure you do not do that again while taking part in these training sessions."

"Of course." Corrin before both she and Garmr started to get back to training again.

The sun began to set once Corrin's training session had come to an end. She let out a sigh of relief as she took a drink from a bottle of water. As she did this though she saw Garmr wave at her while he said, "Goodbye Mistress Corrin. Garmr must go study now."

The young woman smiled and waved back at the dog beastman before he took off to go study. Once he had left though she saw Snow approach her as he told her, "You did well for your first training session, Lady Corrin."

"Thanks, but I'm sure I still have a long way to go, don't I?" Gorrin admitted, before she stood up.

When the two began to walk out of the underground arena though she felt one of lion's large hands gently grip her right shoulder as he reassured her, "Do not worry, my dear. I am confident you will be skilled with a blade in no time."

This commented caused the red eyed young woman to turn to face the white furred butler when she commented, "Thank you for that vote of confidence. I promise to do my best."
