Chapter 7

About three days of training had passed as Corrin walked down the sidewalk with a big smile on her face. The reason being was because of how supportive and encouraging both Snow and Garmr had been once they were finished training for each of those days. Although because of this the young woman hadn't been able to see Gyoubu all that much. Which is what led to today as Corrin was determined to see the takuni again since she found herself wanting to learn more about him. Especially since he did tell Snow that they were friends which she knew wasn't true...at least for the time being.

And as she walked down the sidewalk she said out loud to herself, "I hope I'm able to find Gyoubu. Maybe along with getting to know him better I can get his opinion on my training with this rapier. I mean it doesn't hurt to get a second opinion." Sadly when she turned a corner though the princess saw the same three Transients from a few days ago to which she added bitterly, "Oh no, not those three guys again."

After saying this quietly to herself the red eyed young woman carefully walked down the sidewalk hoping to avoid the three who had grabbed her into an alleyway. Sadly this did not happen because once she had taken a few steps backwards she saw the red hooded ninja look in her direction when she told the other two, "Look, it's that girl who we tried to gain information from!"

"Huh? Oh yeah, you're right." The blue furred wolf chimed in, as the three started to walk towards her.

As they did this Corrin proceeded to continue to backway while she commented, "Come on you guys, couldn't you just have ignored me and let me continue on my way."

"Sorry, but we can't do that. But I know how you can make it up to us." The dark haried swordsman remarked, before she saw him pull out a cell phone. He then pressed a few buttons on once he had added, "You can face the three of us in an App Battle."

"App Battle? I'm sorry, but I don't have any idea of what that is." Corrin confessed, a confused lok on her face.

"Wait, are you serious?! You don't know what an App Battle is?!" The swordsman spat out, anger clear in his voice.

"No, I'm afraid I don't. In fact I don't have a cell phone. So I guess you'll just have to let me leave then, won't you?" Corrin stated, to which the three just started to walk up to her again.

The young woman did her best to not show any fear as she placed her right hand on the hilt of her sword. But before she could even pull it out of its sheathe the four heard footsteps heading there way followed by a voice that seemed to be humming some type of tune. Hearing this prompted the princess to turn and look behind herself only to see a black furred hyena Transient who appeared to be wearing normal clothes. However, Corrin could tell by the light blue Mohawk and the oddly colored and shaped tail that this guy was anything from normal. She then saw him remove his headphones before he grinned at her along with the three other Transients.

Once he had done this she saw his blue eyes look in her direction before he said, "Well, well, well, what do we have here? Three bad boys trying to gang up on a lovely lady?" She then saw him lift up a finger and wag it a few times while he added, "You three must be quite the naughty boys then. So I guess you should be taught a lesson."

Corrin then found herself becoming confused as she saw the beasmtnan walk past her while she let out, "What are you..."

However, she soon found herself stopping mid sentence upon seeing the hyena snap two of his fingers. Once he had done this Corrin's eyes widen in shock when she saw three more of the same hyena standing in front of her. Then within a blink of an eye the seven of them were gone for a few seconds. That is until she heard loud laughter and saw one of the black furred hyenas walk out of seemingly nowhere. This however, only caused her to become more confused as she asked, "W-What did you just do?"

"What did I just do? Why nothing sweetheart. I just had some of my other selves partake in that nasty App Battle that those three wanted you to do." The Transient answered back, while he stuck out his tongue from his mouth.

"Um ok?" The princess replied, not quite sure what was going on. She then saw the hyena walk up to her until he was stnading right in front of her. This caused her to only become even more confused whiel she went on with, "So um, what now?"

"What now you ask? Why that's simple babe." The anthro hyena told her, before Corrin saw one of his arms reach for her. She then found herself being pulled up against his body when he added, "I'm the knight in shining armor who is here to take you away from here." He then winked at her and ended, "So I suggest you hold on to me tightly princess."

Corrin felt a cold chill go down her spine upon hearing him refer to her as a princess. She also found herself becoming uncomfortable as she thought to herself, "Why did he just refer to me as a princess? Does he know who I am and that I'm a part of the Hoshido Royal Family. No that can't be it." She then found herself looking up and into his blue eyes while she kept on going, "And yet for some reason this guy is starting to creep me out for some reason. And I know I shouldn't trust him, but what other choice do I have at the moment."

"Hmm? What's with that look sweetheart? I promise I'm not here to hurt you." The black furred beastman reassured her, although the sliver haired human was far from believing him. She then saw him hold up a small black box in his free hand before he added, "But we'd best cut this conversation short. Because that battle of theirs is about to end. And I highly doubt sticking around here would be a good idea."

After this was said Corrin found herself being engulfed by a bright light. Once this happened she felt as thought everything was speeding past both her and the anthro hyena. However, within a few seconds she mentally sighed with relief when he had came to a sudden stop. Once this happened she looked around at her surroundings and saw that they were now in a forest area. This prompted her to turn to look at the beasmtan while she asked, "Huh? Why did you bring us to a forest..." The princess found herself trailing off when she no longer saw the anthro hyena next to her. This caused ehr to become a bit worried as she called out, "Hey, where did you go? Are you seriously just going to leave me out here in the middle of a forest that I've never been to before?" Suddenly she heard some footsteps heading her way. This caused her to become a bit worried at who might run into next as she asked, "Hello? Is someone there?" Not to her surprise the young woman did not get a response right away as the figure continued to get closer. Once she could see their shadow though Corrin tired once more, "Um excuse me. But could you help me get back to the city?"

At first the princess heard the figure come to sudden stop before she thought she saw one of the ears on the shadow twitch before she heard the figure walk again. And once they were completely out in the clearing of the forest she saw Gyobu standing in front of her with a confused look on his face as he asked, "Corrin? What are you doing out here in the forest?"

"I honestly have no idea because a few seconds ago I was in the city trying to avoid those three Transients that you scared off a while ago. Then suddenly this black furred hyena showed up and brought me to this forest." Corrin explained, followed by letting out a sigh. However, her expression soon became that of relief when she added, "Although I'm glad that you were here since I at least kind of know you."

"Yes, I suppose that is a good thing indeed." The tanuki replied, with a smile on his face. Although this quickly changed once he had let out a heavy sigh followed by closing his eyes and looking towards the ground when he continued, "Although I suppose you are right. You and I don't know each other that well. So I apologize for telling Snow that you are I were friends."

"Please don't apologize for that Gyobu. Besides even though you did lie it technically won't be one since I do want us to be friends." Corrin reassured him, as she walked up to him. Once she had done this she then added, "But I have to ask what were you doing out here in the forest to begin with?"

Once she had asked this question the young woman finally noticed a fishing poll that was leaning against the Transients left shoulder along with a tackle box that tucked underneath his right armpit while he pointed out, "Why I was fishing of course."

"Oh, fishing. That sounds like fun. At least it probably would be since I've never done it before." Corrin confessed, while she moved her gaze towards the ground.

After she did this though the young woman felt a large hand place itself onto her right shoulder. This prompted her to look up at the anthro tanuki while he suggested, "Well, it you'd like, you can come with me the next time I go catch some fish."

"Really?! That'd be great!" Corrin exclaimed, excitement clear in her voice. The two then began to walk down the dirt road as she added, "Although I know Snow and Garmr are expecting to help me train again tomorrow. So what about the day after that?"

"That would be fine. So please allow me to walk you home so that I'll know where to go when I come and get you before we go fishing together." Gyobu suggested, while he kept his hand on her shoulder. This did not bother her that much though as her attention was brought up to his smiling face when he continued with, "And I promise that you will have a wonderful time."
