Chapter 11

The sun shined brightly compared to yesterday as Corrin placed her hand above her eyes as she stood in her swimsuit while standing with her toes in the white sand of the beach. And when she did this she wiped the sweat from her forehead while she commented, "Phew, it sure is hot today. But that just makes it the best day for Gyobu and I to come to the beach." After saying this the young woman looked around and added, "Although speaking of Gyoubu, I'm surprised he hasn't shown up yet. But perhaps he had some things to do before coming here."

"Okay, so try to lift the rock again because the fin at the end of my tail is starting to really hurt." A young woman's voice pleaded, which caused Corrin to turn around to locate the source of the voice.

And once she had deon this she saw a blonde haired mermaid with a yellow colored tail that appeared to be stuck underneath a large rock. The young woman also saw a purple and black furred hyena dressed like a pirate standing next to her as he snapped back, "Oi, I already told ya lass, that I can't be lifting this large rock on me own!"

This sight prompted the princess to become concerned as she said out loud to herself, "Uh oh, that mermaid looks to be stuck underneath that rock. Maybe I can help that pirate lift it off of her." And so with this in mind she started to walk towards the two Transients that were in the shallow part of the water. But as did this though Corrin's red eyes noticed a small boat that had a long rope attached it. And upon following the rope she saw a large ship at the far end of the ocean. This led her to assume that, that must the be ship that the two were traveling on, or in the mermaid's case next to at the very least. Once she was close enough to them though Corrin quickly broke away from her own thoughts and smiled at them while she told them, "Excuse me, I don't mean to pry or anything. But you two look like you could use some help."

"Hmm? Oh yes we could use some help." The mermaid replied, as the two looked over at Corrin. She then saw her move her head so that she was looking at the hyena again as she went on, "Alright so now that someone is here try to lift the rock again."

"Alright, alright." The purple and black furred beasmtan shot back, before he bent down and placed his hands in the water and underneath the large rock.

Seeing this prompted the young woman to do the same as she suggested, "Okay, so I'll count to three and then we both lift it at the same time alright?" After suggestion this she saw the pirate nod his head in understanding before she added, "Alright so here we go then. One. Two. Three!"

Upon finishing counting both Corrin and the hyena pirate lifted the rock upwards. And once it was off of the mermaid's tail she quickly scooted away. Once that had been both of them quickly let go of the rock and let it fall back into place. This led the princess let out a sigh of relief as she looked over at the mermaid and asked with concern, "How's your tail? It's not hurt to the point that you won't be able to swim is it?"

"No, I don't believe so. But please don't worry because once we get pulled back onto the ship I'll make sure it gets looked at." The blonde haired mermaid reassured her with a smile. She then bowed her head and continued, "So please allow me to thank you for helping us."

"Aye, I agree. Thanks, lassie." The anthro hyena said, as he walked towards the mermaid and then proceeded to carry her in his arms bridal style.

"It was no problem. I'm more then happy to help." Corrin reassured them, while the pirate carefull got into the rowboat and then tugged on the rope.

Once this had been done the sliver haired princess saw the boat being pulled towards the ship as she proceeded to wave goodbye to the two Transients. But as she did this she saw both of them wave back to her before the mermaid seemed to sigh with relief and then proceeded to lean up against the purple and black furred pirate. Seeing this however, caused one of Corrin to raise one of her eyebrows as she commented, "Wow I'd never thought I'd see a pirate and a mermaid together. How cute."

But while her attention was focused on the two Corrin failed to notice a certain tanuki approaching her. And before she knew it the young woman found herself engulfed in his shadow as he told her, "I see your kindness knows no bounds, Corrin."

Hearing this caused the young woman to turn around and see Gyobu standing in front of her with a large smile on his face. However, her face soon after became a light shade of pink upon seeing that he was only wearing a pair of tight looking swim trunks. And even though she knew that the anthro tanuki had both muscle and fat on his body, but she honestly was not expecting to see such a large bulge like that in the front of his swimming shorts. She quickly moved her gaze from that part of his body however, when she said, "I'm glad you made it, Gyobu. So um what did you want to do?"

"Well, I was hoping to show you something. If you'd follow me that is." The beastman suggested, which caused her to turn and see him offering her one of his hands.

"Sure." Corrin let out, while she placed her hand onto his. Once that happened she was then led away from the water which certainly peaked her interest as she added, "So um what did you want to show me exactly?"

She saw him look at her from over his left shoulder when he explained, "I want to show you what my sacred artifact is capable of. And by that I mean it has a very special ability."

"Oh, is that so? And what is this power that it has besides being able to use magic?" The young woman asked, before the two came to a stop on the white sands of the beach.

After they had stopped walking the princess watched as the anthro tanuki bent down to pick up his mallet to which she quickly looked up so that she was staring at the back of his head instead of staring at the outline of his backside in his swim shorts. And once he had gotten a hold of his mallet the young woman watched as he walked a few feet away from her. He then turned around to face her before he proceeded to look around until she saw his orange eyes lock onto to something. And upon following his gaze she saw that he was staring at a random Transient before she saw him walk to the them and say something to them. Once that happened the young owman saw the other Transient nod his in understanding before the entered an App Battle thus causing Corrin to lose sight of them. However, she was quite surprised when after a few seconds the two reappeared in the same spot they had been standing in. Once that happened she saw Gyobu and the other Transient part ways.

Although while the muscled gutted tanuki walked back towards her, the slivered haired princess was quite surprised to see three smaller tanuki's walking next to Gyobu. And once all four of them were standing a little away form her she saw a big smile spread across his face while he explained, "This is the special power I was referring to. For you see my sacred artifact has the power to summon any or all of my eight hundred and eight kin." He then mentioned to the little anthros as he continued, "And as you can see they even stay with me for some time regardless if I leave an App Battle. So little ones say hello to Corrin. She is a dear friend of mine."

"Hi!" One of the three said, with a big smile on his face. The second one though seemed a little shy as he looked away and let out, "H-Hello..." The third tanuki didn't say anything. The only thing he did was slightly wave one of his hands in her direction.

"Awe their adorable!" Corrin thought to herself as she gave them a warm smile. She then went on with, "It's very nice to meet all three of you." She then stood up and started to walk towards the ocean and suggested, "But enough standing around. How about all of us go for a swim?"

"Ah, an excellent idea Corrin. Come little ones, let's go cool off in the water shall we?" Gyobu replied, before the three tanukies followed behind him and Corrin.
