Chapter 17
Azura walked towards her Father's throne room the next morning flanked by Nyarl. The princess knew that she had to report finding Princess Corrin to him right away. Although she was also planning on leaving certain things out of the report. This included where the black furred anthro hyena was from as the two had already decided that he would tell the king that he was just a traveler who came across Corrin. And once he learned of her heritage he decided to inform the singer of the sliver harried noblewoman's location. And she knew that if she played her cards right then King Garon would not be suspicious in the least. Especially after the beastman would show off his abilities. Of course the princess wanted him to do this since she was planning on asking her Father to allow him to be her second attendant. And if all went according to plan then Azura knew that she could go and get Corrin within a more reasonable amount of time.
And once her golden eyes saw her four siblings standing in fornt of the large doors that led tot he throne room she looked up at the hyena form the corner of her eyes and asked, "So are you ready to go through with our plan?"
"Yes, I suppose I am. But I have to ask why did you have us change our clothes?" Nyarl slightly complained, as the princess saw him look over his new look she had suggested the anthro should wear. That being a suit of light armor that had both sliver and red colors on it's design which came with a medium length red cape. However, her attention was taken away from the armor when the beastman went on with, "I mean don't get me wrong, I know why you did this. But I'm just not sure this look suits us."
"My apologizes for having you do this. But I'm afraid this is the only way. Besides if you showed in your normal clothes then I'm certain my siblings and Father would get very suspicious." And as they got a bit closer towards the four other royals she added in a husthed voice, "And the last thing I need is for my Father to find out about that place you call Tokyo."
"Oh, I see. So we're keeping this our little secret huh?" Nyarl remarked, before she saw him lean in close to her ear. Once he had done thsi Azura's golden eyes widen once he had added in a wishpered, "But you know that's quite a naughty thing for you to do, princess. Although I'll admit that I quite like it."
A light blush spread across her face as she protested, "Please try to reframe from these types of comments. For the last thing I'd want is for Father to sentence you to death because of it."
"As you wish, Lady Azura." The black furred hyean smugly replied, upon reaching the four other nobles.
After they did this Azura saw Elise walk up to her when she asked, "Hi Big Sister Azura, it's so good to see you. Oh, and your friend? He looks both cool and interesting at the same time."
Once Azura's sister had uttered these words though the singer saw the anthro hyena give her a tooth filled grin as he replied, "Boy you sure are innocent, aren't you? How lovely. With that said I could have some "fun" with you, little princess."
Hearing such a remark though only caused a happy an expression to show on the girl's features while she wondered, "Really?! So what kind of game would we be playing together?"
Azura soon began to get worried because right before Nyarl could go any further Camilla interrupted with, "I know what game your hinting at, dear. So if you don't want me to cut off a certain body part of yours, I suggest you stop talking to my dear Elise in that manner." She then glared at him and added, "Do I make myself clear?"
"Oh such fire in those eyes. I bet you'd be really fun to play with wouldn't you, princess? And I bet you're into the kinkiest of things aren't you?" The yena shot back, still with a tooth filled grin on his face.
Although before the odd conversation could go any further Azura saw Leo let out a tired sigh as he snapped, "Alright, enough of this ridiculousness!"
"Leo is right. Besides we best not keep Father waiting." Xander agreed, in a more calmer way.
Hearing this prompted Azura to let out a sigh while she thought to herslef, "It seems it's now or never. I had best prepare myself for Father possibly not believing my fabricated story. If that does happen at least I know Nyarl can just get he and I away from the throne room before I am put to death."
Nyarl stood behind Azura as the two along with the light blue ahired princess's siblings walked into the throne room. And upon doing so the beastman saw a heavily armored elderly man sitting on a throne at the top of a staircase. The Transient also took note of the irritated look on the old king's when he asked, "So my children, how does the search for Princess Corrin fared so far? And for your sakes you had best be giving me good news."
The hyena looked on as the singer's older brother stepped as he told his father, "I am ashamed to tell you this FAther. But we not found Corrin as of yet. However, I assure you that we are still searching for her every day and night."
"And do you think this is the answer I was hoping to hear, boy?!" Garon snapped back, with anger clear in his voice.
Once he had heard this the light blue haired anthro looked over at Azura, who swallowed a lump in her throat before she walked forward and confessed, "Forgive me for interrupting you, Father. But I have to tell you that even though Xander were not able to find Princess Corrin. I on the other hand was able to find her."
"I see. I am pleased to hear that, my daughter. However I may ask you then. Why did you not bring her back with you?!" The King remarked, once his eybrowes had narrowed in even more anger.
"I am truly sorry for not bringing her back with me, Father. But you see she is being guarded by two mercenary guilds. So for right now I decided to wait until I know she is alone to capture her and then bring her here." The princess explained, before Nyarl saw her look at him from over her left shoulder. She then continued, "And this is all thanks to this beastman that I had met while he passing through the kingdom's harbor. He was kind enough to take me to where Corrin was. And it is because of him that I am confident taht when the time is right I will be able to bring the Hoshidoan Princess to you very soon."
"It is an honor to meet you, Your Majesty." Nyarl said, as he did a low bow to the ground. He then looked up at the King of Nohr and added, "And if you'd like me to. I would be honored to show you my combat abilities."
"Hmm. Very well. But if you disappoint me, then both you and Azure will suffer greatly. Is that understood?" Garon questioned, to which prompted everyone in the room to be taken aback.
This however, was exactly what both Azura and Nyarl wanted as a grin formed on the beastman's face once he replied, "I understand. But I assure you that you won't be disappointed."
