Chapter 18
Both Azura and Nyarl took their places in a large room inside Krakenburg Castle. And omnce they had done so four soldiers walked out onto the other side of the room. Seeing this though only casued a grin to spread across the hyena's face as he remarked, "Awe, four against two isn't very fair. So let's fix that shall we?" And after he had uttered those words the beastman snapped two of his fingers which summoned two other copies of himself to show up on the battlefield. Once that had been the three hyenas added in unison, "There. Now it's even."
"What?! His able to make copies of himself?!" Prince Leo remarked, from the second floor of the room they were in.
"Wow, that's really cool." Elise commented, with amazment clear in her voice.
Her older sister Camilla did not feel though when she replied, "I'm not quite sure those words are the right ones to use, Elise."
"Yes, I agree, Camilla. However, I believe such an ability could be quite useful on the battlefield." Xander told her, as he looked on with his follow siblings.
And after hearing her siblings words Azura looked at original Nyarl the other two that had appeared on the battlefield. Upon doing so the princess saw the first Nyarl had no weapon other then two arm and leg gauntlets which matched the armor the young woman had him put on. When she looked at the second one she saw a magic tome in one of his hands, while the third had a Heal Staff in one of his hands. She then also prepared to fight as she took her Steel Lance and heard her father's voice once he had ordered, "Begin!"
After the elderly king had given that simple order Azura moved to the right of the battlefield when she saw one of the soldiers had a sword which she knew would have a disadvantage to her lance. However, the noblewoman wasn't expecting all three of the nyarls to follow right behind her. This led to the soldiers having their chance to move as they did the same, but with a Fighter leading the charge while the Mercenary stayed in the back with Thief and Maid next to him. And once that had been Azure watched as the tome welder hyena moved up the to axe wielding opponent before he used a Thunder Tome on him which caused two bolts of lightning to hit him due to be beeing too far to counterattack. This lead to the Fighter being defeated easily, and as he the soldier fell to the ground the Transient gloated, "MMM, that was SO good!"
With that enemy down three remained as the first Nyarl moved ahead of the tome wielding Hyarl with Azura and the staff hyena behind them. After that had been done the three remain soldiers moved starting with the Maid who moved to where she was a space away from Nyarl. Upon doing so she throw an Iron Dagger at him two, which even though it did not do any damage the beastman could still feel a negative effect come over him. Which was made even more clearer when the Theif hit him twice with his Iron Bow and Arrow that caused quite a bit damage to him. Thankfully however, the Mercenary was not able to get to the anthro to finish him off.
And after the sword wielding soldier was standing next to the other two units Azura knew that it was their chance to strike as the staff wielding Nyarl moved up to the main one and healed his wounds to he let out a sigh of content. Once that occured he moved up to the Maid and easily finished her off once he had performed a critical hit after he had shouted, "Come on!"
And with that done only two remained as the tome wielding Nyarl moved a step away from the Thief and attacked with Thunder magic. After this though the Thief counterattacked with a shot from his Bow which caused a good amount of damage. However, once he had done his second attack the bow wielding soldier was defeated which left the Mercenary, whom Azura decided to move to and begin a battle with him. And upon hitting just once with her lance caused a great deal of deamage to him, although the same could be said when he counterattacked which almost defeated the singer. But the princess refused to give in to defeat as she delivered the finishing the blow thus ending the fight

King Garon showed a somewhat impressive expression on his face as he commented, "Well, that was impressive, Nyarl. You have proven that you will be a worthy attendant for my daughter."
"Thank you, Your Majesty." The beastman replied, followed by doing a low bow.
While the anthro hyena did this though the elderly king looked over at the light blue haired princess and said, "So now that you have two attendants Azura, you had best nto fail me. Because I expect you to bring Princess Corrin to me once preparations have been made. Is this understood?"
"Yes, I understand, Father." The Princess calmly let out, as she did a quick bow.
"Very good. Now all of you may leave me." King Garon told everyone, to which they did what was asked of them and left the room. However, once the king was certain all of the royal siblings had left he let out a chuckle before he added, "Finally after all of this time one of those worthless children has finally found Princess Corrin. And once I have her in my grasp I can fulfill my Master's plan and bring ruin to both Nohr and Hoshido." To this the elderly king was about to let out a loud laugh, but before he did so he thought he saw a shadow behind one fo the pillars in the room. Because of this a rown formed on his face while he demanded, "Who is there?!" After saying this the king waited for whoever was there to reveal themselves. But upon looking down at the ground where the shadow was Garon saw nothing which led him to let out a scoff as he ended with, "It must of have been my imagination."
Nyarl waited until he knew the King was completely out of the room before he reappeared, now with a smirk on his face as he said out loud ot himself, "Hmm, so the king has his own plans that his keeping form his children is he? What an awful thing for him to do." He then let out a loud laugh while he went on, "And as Princess Azura's attendant, I couldn't possibly keeep this info all to myself. Because I'm certain she'll want to hear all of this in great detail."
