Chapter 23

The sun shined down through Corrin's bedroom window as her head was still laying Gyobu's left chest plate. However, when she started to open her eyes the young woman couldn't help but blush as she realized that she was still pressed up against the tanuki's body. And this blush only deepened when she heard a voice when it commented, "I see you are finally awake, Lady Corrin. And I must say that I was quite surprised to see someone sharing your bed with you."

This caused the princess to turn her head only to see Snow standing in front of her bed with his arms crossed. And even though he didn't have an angry expression on his face, Corrin knew that the anthro lion was waiting for an explanation for why the tanuki was in her bed with her along with being held in his arms. And sadly right when the human was about to try and explain what happened she heard the Transient let out a yawn before she saw him look down at ehr while he said, "Good morning, Corrin. I hope you slept well."

"Well, by the looks of it, I would say Lady Corrin had slept just fine." Snow commented, which caused a shocked expression to show on the tanuki's face.

And after this happened Corrin saw the raccoon dog rub the back of his neck with his right hand, as he let out, "Oh good morning, Snow. I apologize for being here in Corrin's bed like this. However, I assure you that there was a good reason for it. But it would probably be best if I let her explain the situation that led to this result."

"Very well. I shall be waiting downstairs. So once you are both more presentable please come down and inform me of the details." The white furred lion replied, before he walked out of the room.

"O-Okay..." Corrin let out, as she and Gyobu both got up out of her bed.

The young woman then felt the tanuki place a hand onto her left shoulder as he asked, "Would you like me to stay and help explain what happened?"

"Yes, if you can that is." The princess replied, while she looked up at him.

Once she had done this she saw the anthro give her a comforting smile when he told her, "Of course I can. And with said we'd best get dress so we don't keep Snow waiting for too long."

Snow sat in a chair that was in the living room while both Corin and Gyobu sat on the sofa. And as the clock ticked in the background the anthro lion began with, "So, please tell me what could have possibility happened to you that would prompt the two of you to sleep in the same bed together?" When he saw the worreid look on the young woman's face though the Transient continued with, "However, I am well aware that nothing physical happened between the two of you."

The lion butler saw the princess take in a breathe of air before she explained, "Well, my day itself was pretty boring since I couldn't think of anything to do here at home. But once evening came along Gyobu came by with three smaller takunis. After that they invited me to go to the park with them. Which I had a great time since I had some things to figure out."

"Oh? Like what sort of things were on your mind, Lady Corrin?" Snow questioned, with a raised eyebrow.

To the lion's suspensions he saw the human look up at the takuni before she confessed, "Well you see during the party last night I somehow regained my lost memories of how and why I ended up here in Tokyo. However, I also ran into a princess from the Kingdom of Nohr. And not only that but it seems like Nyarl has joined forces with them for some reason." She then looked away when she added, "And the princess told me that sooner or later I would be taken to Nohr to see her Father, King Garon of Nohr." The lion then saw tears begin to form on her face as she kept on going with, "And honestly I was afraid to tell you this because I was afraid of losing you just like I did my Father, who was murdered right in front of me by King Garon himself."

"I see, and even though I am happy to hear you had regained your memories. I must admit that I sorry to hear of how you came to Tokyo." Snow replied, now with a sadden expresion on his face. However, this only lasted for a few seconds before he went on, "So then if that is what occurred at the party. Please continue to tell me what happened after you left to go to the park yesterday?"

"Well, after spending quite a few hours at the park Gyobu and I were both heading our separate ways to head home. But when that happened I was grabbed into and dragged through an alleyway by three Nyarls." Corrin told the butler, befro eh saw a scared expression form on her face. She then looked away from him as she added, "And once that happened they attempted to rape me. And they nearly did it too..." To the lion's surprise the young woman suddenly stopped talking and seemed to be trying to calm herself down. And this seemed to happen once Gyobu had placed a comforting hand onto her right leg. Once he had done this the white furred anthro saw the princess look up at the raccoon dog with a slight dreamy look in her eyes when she added, "But thankfully Gyobu showed up and was able to save me before those creeps could do anything really disturbing. And after they disappeared I asked him if he wouldn't mind staying the night since I didn't feel comforting staying the house by myself that night. Which of course he agreed, and might I add we were in separate beds when we both went to bed. But then he woke up upon hearing me shout in my sleep due a nightmare." Snow then saw her smile once she had turned to him and finished off with, "After that I was the one who asked if he wouldn't mind sharing my bed with me. So I'm sorry if you thought something happened between he and I last night. But I assure you all he did was hold me while I slept."

"Hmm, I see. And I must admit this is quite a good amount of information to take in." Snow admitted, while he looked over at the two. He then stood up and looked over at the tanuki when he added, "And if I'm being honest I think you should head home, advisor to the Outlaws."

"Yes of course, I understand." The anthro tanuki agreed, before the butler saw him get up and then begin to walk out of the living room.

Once he had done this though the lion saw Corrin get up off of the couch before he saw her approach the tanuki. And once she had done so the butler saw her hug him and from what it seemed thank him to which he just chuckled and returned the hug. After doing staying like that for a few minutes Snow finally saw the two release the hug to which the anthro takuni left the house. And once he had done so Snow cleared his throat before he also got up and walked towards the young woman while he told her, "If this kingdom called Nohr is truly coming for you Lady Corrin. Then perhaps some more training is in order?"

"Yes, I suppose you're right." The princess replied, to which she grabbed her sword and two left the house soon after.
