Chapter 25

A few days had passed since Corrin had told Snow about Nohr and of how she and Gyobu ended up laying in bed together. And within this time the young woman trained once again because honestly if she was going to be taken back to Nohr, then whoever came to get her would be in for quite the fight since she wasn't just leaving Tokyo that easily. However, this also brought up one problem being where she should go. Because she most certainly wasn't going to stay at this house where Nyarl knew the location of and could easily bring Princess Azura to without any issues.

So knowing this is what led to the sliver haired noblewoman to the decision of packing a suitcase and leaving the home hopefully without being noticed. This way she could get out of the city part of Tokyo and find a more osculated placed to find and live for a day or two until she was forced to leave here. And even though she knew that there were people whom she knew she could trust without any doubt. This just made her more determined to not get them involved. For this was her problem and it felt wrong to ask them for help, even if she knew that Gyobu felt he was involved due to what had occurred the past few days.

But while she packed the open suitcase that was on her bed Corrin found herself hesitating for a moment as she asked herself, "Am I doing the right thing by running away? What if...what if doing this just makes everything worse?" She quickly shook her head from side to side when she added, "No, I can't afford to having any doubts about my decision. I have to go through with this." She then looked over the clothes that were in the suitcase before she closed and zipped it shut. And upon doing so she lifted it off of her bed and added, "Alright, so I'm pretty sure I have enough clothes to last me for a days, along with some other necessary things. So now all that's left to do is to sneak out of the house without Snow catching me..."

However, as soon as the princess turned around she came to stop upon seeing the white furred anthro lion standing in the doorway with his arms crossed in front of his chest. She then found herself looking down at the floor while he asked, "Would you care to explain why you want to sneak out of the house without my notice, Lady Corrin? Surely you weren't thinking on running away from your problems were you?"

"No! I'm not running away!" Corrin snapped back, before she realized she had done so. She calmed down and cleared her throat as she went on, "I just wanted to get out of the city so that no one else will get hurt because they were trying to protect me from whoever comes form Nohr to get me." She then bowed her head when she continued, "I'm sorry for attempting to sneak out behind your back Snow. But this is my problem to deal with. And I want to deal with it on my own. I...I just hope you can understand that and respect my decision."

After she had given her peace though the young woman was quite surprised to see a large grin form on the lion's face as he replied, "Oh my, you spoke just like a true leader would. That is wonderful to hear, Your Highness." She then saw him walk up to her and then hand her a small device while he kept going, "However, if you ever require me for anything. Promise me that you'll press this button on this pager. For once you do I will come to your side and aid you as best I can."

"Thank you Snow, for everything." Corrin let out, before she walked up to him and gave him a quick hug.

"Of course Lady Corrin, it has been an honor to raise you and guide you as best I can." The Transient said, as he returned the hug for a few seconds before they then released one another.

Once they did this though the young woman heard someone running towards them. And upon walking into the hallway Corrin saw Garmr run up to her while he said with happiness, "Corrin, let's go outside and play together!" However, once he had opened his eyes and had seen the suitcase in one of the human's hands she saw the anthro dog give her a confused look while he continued, "Huh? Why does Corrin have that suitcase? Is Corrin going somewhere?"

"Um I guess you could say that." The princes let out, as she became a bit nervous having to explain her current situation to the black and green furred dog.

However, it seemed that she did not need to do so as Garmr stared at her for a few more seconds before a happy expression reformed on hsi face when he said, "Oh, is Corrin able to return home? Garmr so happy for you." Just as quickly though a sad expression formed on his face as he added, "But Garmr also sad at the same time since Garmr will miss Corrin a whole lot."

Hearing this prompted the young woman to smile at the anthro dog while she replied, "I'll miss you too, Garmr. But can you promise me that you'll continue to be the best guard dog that the Berserkers have ever had?"

"Yes! Garmr will be best guard dog ever! And if Corrin needs Garmr, just call Garmr's name and I will come running to protect Corrin from her enemies." Garmr proclaimed, while he did a solute with his right arm and his lower body sat down onto the wood floor below.

"Thank you, Garmr. And you know what I think I will play with you before I leave." Corrin told the anthro dog which he let out a howl of happiness.

She then let out a gasp of surprise when the Transient grabbed her wrist and began to pull her towards the stairs. And before she knew it he had taken her suitcase with his other hand when he said, "Okay! Then Garmr will put your suitcase by the front door. And then after we play we can have dinner together before Corrin leaves."

"Oh, sure." The princess replied back, as she was a bit caught off guard by his words. However, she knew that she couldn't deny the dog requests since this might be the last time she ever sees him or Snow again.
