Okay I know those last two were really sucky so I'm going to make this one better.
Or attempt, at least.
Ember and Jayden sit in a compartment, Ember nearly asleep on his shoulder. The stars shine in a indigo sky. A knock sounds. Jayden looks up to see a boy with a white mask covering the left side of his face, standing awkwardly at the entrance.
"Hi, I'm Phantom." He says quietly. "Can I sit in here?" Ember blinks her eyes open and smile.
"Of course! I'm Ember!" He takes the seat beside them. Jayden straightens. Phantom backs away a little. Ember rolls her eyes. "Jayden is very protective of me."
"Hey." Phantom smiles hesitantly. Someone knocks. Evie stands.
"Hello. Have any of you seen a run-away rat? George Weasly lost his. Or Fred." Jayden smiles, a heavy blush spreading over his cheeks.
"No."
"Okay. See you three around." She walks off. Ember elbows him.
"You like her!"
"No I don't." Phantom sits awkwardly. Ember smiles sweetly at him, her grey eyes sparkling with interest.
"So Phantom, where are you from?"
"Paris."
"You speak wonderful English."
"My mother taught me English. She's from England." They sit in silence. Ember leans her head back on Jayden's arm.
"I'm going to fall asleep."
"Please don't do that." Jayden says. Phantom looks at them.
"Are you two twins?"
"Yeah. The Crawford twins." Jayden answers. Phantom's jaw drops.
"Really?"
"Yeah." Ember answers sleepily. The train jerks to a stop. Phantom smiles a little.
"I guess we're here."

A severe looking woman greets the group of eleven year olds. She smiles.
"I'm Professor McGonagall. Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, you all must be sorted into your houses. There are four houses you can be sorted into. Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. The Sorting Hat will sort you into your houses. I'll be back." She walks into the huge doors behind her. A blond boy looks over at Ember, Jayden, Phantom, and Evie.
"The rumors are right, then. We have the Crawford twins in our year." Hushed murmurs fill the room. Ember links her arm with Evie. She looks at their arms in shock.
"Hi, I'm Ember Crawford."
"Evie Fuller."
"What house do you think you'll be? I think I'll be Hufflepuff." Evie shrugs.
"Maybe Ravenclaw."
"I'll probably be Slytherin." Jayden and Phantom say at the exact same time. They look at each other. Ember and Evie smile. McGonagall comes back and looks at the group.
"They're ready for you." She says. They follow her into the huge doors. Everybody looks in awe at the cloudy, but starry ceiling and floating candles. An old man smiles at them. McGonagall pulls out a roll of paper and looks at them. "Now, when I call your name you will come up here and I will place the Sorting Hat on your head." Ember whispers to Evie and unlinks their arms.
"Good luck."
"You too." McGonagall unfurles the paper. She looks out in the crowd.
"Evie Fuller!" Evie takes a hesitant step forward. She walks to the seat and sits down. The Sorting Hat begins to speak.
"Ah, I see, I see. Gryffindor!" He belows. Evie beans and McGonagall takes off the hat. She skips down and sits at the Gryffindor table.
"Thor Odinson!" McGonagall says. The blond boy struts up to the chair. McGonagall puts the hat on his head.
"Oh I know where to put you. Slytherin!" Thor smirks and walks down.
"Marcus Darling!" Another blond boy walks up. The Sorting Hat laughs, making Marcus jump.
"Hufflepuff!" He smiles, relived, and walks off.
"Eric Jones!" Phantom walks up. The Sorting Hat making a 'tut' noise.
"Gryffindor!" Phantom smiles shyly and sits down beside Evie. Ember grasps Jayden's hand. He squeezes it.
"Jayden Crawford!" Jayden lets go of Ember's hand and walks up slowly.
"Ah, oh, oh I see. Gryffindor!" Jayden's face breaks out into a grin and sits across from Evie.
"Emberlyn Crawford!" Ember takes shaky steps to the chair. The Sorting Hat somehow smiles down at her.
"Very interesting. Very very interesting. I know where you should go. Gryffindor!" She practically bounces out of the chair and sits beside Jayden. Evie smiles at them.
"I'm glad we're all together." Jayden smiles hesitantly.
"Us too." Phantom answers.
