Evie walks around the courtyard. Ember and Jayden sit on the grass, laughing with Phantom. Thor struts up to Evie. Jayden looks at Ember.
"What's that blond idiot doing?"
"Probably talking to Evie." Phantom supplies. Ember looks at Jayden.
"You need to tell Evie you like her!"
"I don't want to ruin our friendship." He sighs. Thor smiles at Evie.
"Why, hello, Ms. Fuller. What a surprise, running into you here." She laughs.
"Hi, Thor. What can I do for you?"
"Could you give me the honor of going up to the Astronomy Tower with me tomorrow evening?" Evie smiles and blushes.
"Are you asking me on a date?"
"Indeed I am."
"Then yeah, sure." He smiles and walks away. Evie falls beside Ember, smiling happily. "He asked me out!" Ember squeals.
"Oh that's great, Evie!"
"I'm going to go pick out my outfit!" She gets up.
"Evie, wait." Jayden says. Evie looks at him. "Please, be careful. He doesn't seem like a good guy." Evie rolls her eyes and smiles.
"You're so protective, Jayden. I'll be fine." She skips off. Ember's smile drops.
"That guy gives me bad vibes."
"He probably wants to use her as a trophy." Phantom spits. Jayden leans his head on Ember's, his face sorrowful.
"I should have told her."
"You really should have."

Evie sits on the Astronomy tower, waiting for Thor. He walks up to her and sits down. He smiles.
"I always loved stars." She says. He smiles again.
"They shine like your eyes." She blushes. He boldly grabs her hand. They look up at the sky. "It truly is beautiful out here."
"Yeah, it is." And suddenly, they were kissing. Evie breaks away, breathless. "That was my first kiss."
"It was mine too." He says, blushing. She leans her head on his shoulder and they watch the sky.

Evie floats into the dormitory. Ember looks up from her book.
"You look happy."
"He kissed me." Ember slams her book shut. Tiger meows indignantly before curling back up in Ember's lap.
"Excuse me what?"
"He kissed me!" She sighs dreamily. Ember claps her hands.
"Awww! I'm so happy for you!"
"I'm going to bed. Night."
"Night." After a few minutes, Evie's soft snores fill the room. Ember sighs. "Oh Merlin."
