Hey! Let's get this thing started!
Jayden walks up to Ember, the day after Evie and Thor's date. It was Sunday, so they had a free day. Ember was sitting in the Common Room, reading a book, Tiger sitting in her lap. He plops down beside her.
"How did their date go?" Ember purses her lips into a thin line. "What?"
"They kissed." His lips part.
"You're joking, right?" Ember shakes her head. Jayden lays his head on her's, tears welling in his bright blue eyes. "I should have told her." Ember runs her fingers through his dark brown bangs. Tiger hops out of Ember's lap and nuzzles Jayden's hand. He pets her head and she purrs in contentment.
"It just wasn't meant to be, baby brother."

Evie prances into the Common Room. She sees Jayden and Ember curled up beside each other, sipping hot chocolate.
"Hey guys!"
"Hey Evie. How was Thor?" Jayden asks, looking up at her. She smiles. He felt his heart crack a little.
"He was amazing. Are you two coming to dinner?"
"No. We're not hungry." Ember answers.
"Okay. See you guys tonight." She skips out. Ember hugs Jayden tightly, stroking his hair lightly.
"It's going to be okay, baby brother."
