Well, we're here with another chapter of Dragon Ball : Xeno. I aim to end the Piccolo Jr. Saga within five chapters so we can move on to the Saiyan Sage.

One thing to note here is that only Goku is aware of the future, as he is a composite Goku. The God of Destruction for Universe 13 will be someone else, someone who has been in the series before.

Now, as for Super Saiyan 2, which I have removed as a form altogether. Furthermore, branched Super Saiyans is also within my plans, and each Saiyan will be getting their own branch which they'll excel in. It will not be like one Saiyan being able to use Super Saiyan 4 and be able to master Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. And one more thing, Super Saiyan will not be given all willy nilly like it has been in the anime and manga, Saiyans will have to earn it.

Well, anyway, onto the chapter :

Goku looked at his opponent, Tienshenhan, who was already on the stage. He could feel the nostalgic feeling as he made his way towards the said stage. He could feel the positive energy the crowd was giving off.

" Are you ready Goku ?" He heard his opponent ask.

Goku just grinned as he gave him a thumbs up. " Sure am." He then got into a battle stance and got serious. " You better not hold back." He said as he raised his ki, creating a white aura around him.

Tien frowned as he nodded, getting into battle position. " Very well then." Lunging forward, Tien threw the first punch, with Goku promptly blocked by crossing his arms.

Goku grunted a bit as he replied with a punch of his own to the abdomen area, something the other martial artist was not able to block as it moved faster than he had expected.

Being pushed back, Tien grabbed his abdomen lightly, " Damn, that was a heck of a punch Goku." He commented.

" Hehe, yeah, sorry, I didn't think you wouldn't be able to block it." Goku said with a chuckle. " How about we continue our fight ?" He asked, to which Tien nodded, and in an instant, they both were trading blows with each other.

( Rafters )

Yamcha looked on in awe as his friends were fighting each other. While they seemed equal, he knew that Goku was stronger than than the monk he was facing.

It was plain obvious. While Tien was training with Chaotzu, Goku had trained with Kami. He knew that under guidance, a fighter would grow leaps above those who trained by themselves.

That was the reason why Yamcha himself had trained under Master Roshi, who had also trained Broly. He looked at the said fighter alongside him, who was also watching the match with interest.

" Say Broly, what do you think about the fight ?" He asked the gentle giant, who was wearing a white gi.

Looking at the fighters who were fighting all over the place, Broly looked at the Desert Bandit, " From what I could see, Goku is holding his power back by a lot with in this fight." Broly said, " It makes my blood boil, makes me want to go there and fight them both."

" Hold on there, you'll get your turn soon." Yamcha said, referencing the fact that soon it would be his match against Hero.

" Yes Broly, you should try to calm yourself." Launch said as she saw the two fighters separate in an instant.

" Man, you're really good, Goku." Tien said as he huffed. Goku could see the damage on his opponent's body.

" So are you, Tien." He replied. " How about we end this ?"

Tien looked conflicted at that. He knew that if the battle went on, he'd surely lose, as Goku seemed to be in a better shape than he was, but he was putting the match all on this one final rush, which if he won, made him win the round. With renewed determination in his eyes, he nodded.

Goku smiled, " That's the spirit." He said as he began to charge up the ki in his hand for the iconic Kamehameha, while Tien grew out his extra two arms.

Not needing to chant the words anymore, the Kamehameha orb grew in size as Goku managed to keep it under control, making sure it was strong enough to knock Tien out, but not kill him.

Tien rushed forward, aiming to knock Goku out before he fired the wave, however it was for naught, because as he reached closer, Goku released the wave. "HAA" He shouted, releasing the Kamehameha wave onto the lunging opponent.

The beam made Tien move backwards, as the impact knocked him out. And with that, Goku moved to the next round.

( Rafters )

" So, Goku won that one." Vegeta said to his girlfriend.

" I think it was obvious." She commented. " With whom he had been training under, it's no mystery that he's stronger." She looked at him, " Are you prepared for your match against Yamcha ?" She asked.

" Damn right I am." He growled. The last time they had fought, Vegeta had won, but it was a hard fought battle. He looked at the board and noticed that it was Broly's turn.

The three of them had been raised by the same man, Gohan, so it was obvious that they had strong brotherly bonds with each other.

However, there were some differences that were notable. While him and Goku had to work their ass off for strength, Broly was gifted with it, but for some reason or the other, needed a large amount of ki concentration to even use it.

In simple words, Goku and Vegeta had to earn their strength, they could easily handle it, while Broly had access to that power already, he had to control himself to even use it.

" Will contestant Son Broly and Hero please step into the ring ?" They heard the announcer call out, indicating the start of another match.

" Hey, its Broly's turn." Bulma exclaimed, making Vegeta nod and cross his arms.

" Sure is." Vegeta said, " If he even learns to control half of his energy, he could be a challenge for us."

( Arena )

Broly looked unsure as he stepped into the ring. He had opted for a white sleeveless gi, which showed his arm to the crowd, making the females go wild.

His opponent, a seemingly unassuming bespectacled man stepped on the other side.

" May the best fighter win. BEGIN !" The announcer spoke into his microphone.

Broly breathed a little as he glared at his opponent seriously, who was in a defensive position. Tightening his fist, Broly rushed forward, intending on knocking him out quickly. But to his surprise, Hero dodged the attack, albeit a bit by luck and launched a drop kick at him.

Expecting himself to be launched back by the attack, he was pleasantly surprised to see nothing of the sort had happened.

Launching a sledgehammer fist at the opponent, which connected, making Hero bounce in the air for a short while. Using the moment to attack, Broly drop-kicked Hero, knocking him out of the ring with ease.

Kipping up, Broly dusted his gi and bowed, promptly leaving the arena afterwards.

( With Son Goku )

Goku looked on with amazement as he saw Broly pick up an easy win against Hero. He knew that with this, the future was going to be different, as Hero would have defeated Yamcha to progress ahead and face MaJunior in the next round.

He knew that the aforementioned Desert Bandit was now facing Vegeta. Normally, he would have expected Vegeta to pick up the win, but from sensing Yamcha's ki in respect to Vegeta's, he could tell that they were near equals.

He could also sense Piccolo's ki nearing Kami's. Fearing for the guardian's life, he quickly made his way towards the impending confrontation.

( With Kami )

The elderly Namekian struggled to move as Piccolo closed in on him. He knew that the reincarnation of his evil counterpart was stronger than him. It wasn't a surprise why this was so. While Kami stood guarding over people from his Hideout, Piccolo was training himself, constantly reaching higher levels.

Kami struggled to catch his breath, having left the possession of the poor fellow who he had used to participate in the Tournament.

" Found you." He heard a voice behind him and instantly recognized who it belonged to. " Don't try and escape." He felt a hand grab his neck, squeezing him, lifting him up, as he struggled to breath. He turned to look at his aggressor and recognized him.

" Pi..Piccolo." He struggled to speak.

" Now listen up." Piccolo snarled. " I will kill you and have revenge for my father."

" But if you kill me, you will die as well." Kami said. " And when I die, the Dragon Balls become ineffective."

Piccolo smiled evilly, " You think I care ?" He laughed as he charged ki on his other hand, intending on killing the Guardian of Earth.

Kami closed his eyes, but the pain of death never came. Opening his eyes, he saw his pupil, Son Goku grabbing Piccolo's hand, aiming the now blasted ki away from him.

" Son Goku." Piccolo snarled at the warrior. " Leave before I change my mind to kill you."

Goku looked defiant as ever, staring Piccolo right in the eye menacingly. " Like hell I would." He flared. " If anything, I should seal you up like Master Roshi did to your father."

" You DARE !" Piccolo threatened, releasing his hold on Kami and turning his attention towards Goku, flaring his ki to the max.

In reply, Goku did the same, raising his ki to match the Namekian in front of him. " I DARE !" He replied back with the same force.

Both of them looked at one another, hate obvious in their eyes. For a moment it seemed as if a fight would break out here, but it all ended when Piccolo was the first to speak, "Tch, we'll meet again Son Goku in the tournament." He began to walk away from the two people.

Goku glared one last time at the retreating Namekian before turning his attention to the elderly Namekian in front of him. " Are you okay Kami-sama ?" He asked.

The Guardian of Earth gave a light chuckle as he stood up. " Thanks to you Goku, thanks to you." He said.

" So, what should we do about Piccolo ?" He asked. " It seems like Demon King Piccolo hasn't given up, using his own children in his schemes."

" It's not as it seems." Kami said, making Goku look at him, " You see, when you killed Demon King Piccolo, I sensed his ki reshaping itself, molding, twisting, turning, concentrating in one point, and when Piccolo laid an egg, the ki finally left his body, now in the egg."

" Oh, so the Piccolo I met now is a reincarnation of the one I killed."

Kami nodded gravely. " It seems that is true. He is the same Piccolo as before." He looked at Goku, " Now, its best that you be on your way. I sense that your friend of the sands has won, albeit with difficulty." And with that, he walked away calmly, leaving Goku to his thoughts.

' So Yamcha won.' Goku wondered. ' How does Vegeta feels about this ?'

( Rafters )

Vegeta was deep in thought as Bulma bandaged his chest. " So … You lost, huh ?" She asked the bandaged fighter, bringing him out of his thoughts.

Vegeta nodded at that. " It seems as if my training wasn't enough to beat the Bandit."

" C'mon, you could have beaten him if you got an opening."

Vegeta agreed with her. " That's true, but keep in mind that he had a tough stance to beat." He walked a bit, " His stance, The Wolf Fang, has considerable defense, and once the opponent gets close enough to launch an attack, Yamcha opens up and launches his Wolf Fang Fist." He nodded in appreciation. " Thanks to him, I understand my weaknesses."

Bulma raised an eye at that. " Really ?"

" Yes. Often I rush in on the offense, trying to force my opponent into a corner, but at times, I have noticed that some of my enemies, like Giran, were able to counter that." Vegeta began, " More over, I have limited arsenal. I rely mostly on my fist and some ki waves, like my Garlic Gun. But amazingly, Yamcha had a counter to that."

Bulma nodded to that. " Even I was surprised to learn that Yamcha could perform the Kamehameha. According to Old Man Roshi, that moves takes 50 years to even learn, let alone master."

" I was so shocked at that that I lost the ki clash." Vegeta said.

After the match, Yamcha was slated to face Broly, but the match was to occur after Goku and MaJunior had fought. He didn't knew why but he felt as if something big was about to happen.

He soon saw Goku, who was heading towards him. " Hey Vegeta, are you okay ?" He asked as soon as he saw the bandaged fighter.

Vegeta stared as he asked the question. He could feel Goku's ki on the rise, as if he was prepared for something. " I should be asking you that."

Goku instantly knew what Vegeta was talking about, as his ki was at a higher level than normal and his body itself felt tense.

A skilled fighter could clearly see that he wasn't relaxed. " Well, I found Piccolo." He said and instantly felt the anger from Vegeta.

" So, that damned slug is here as well." His ki rose extremely. " How's that possible ?"

" Well, Kami said that the Piccolo here is a reincarnation of the one we fought a few years ago." Goku said, " He came here, under the guise of Hero, to ensure that Piccolo could be sealed away."

" Wait, shouldn't Broly and everyone else learn of this also." Bulma said, making Goku nod along with Vegeta. " Wait while I call them."

Soon everyone had gathered at the place where Goku, Vegeta and Bulma were. " So, Piccolo is here as well." Roshi said.

" It seems so." Yamcha replied. " Goku, are you sure you can handle him, because this time, you'll have to face him one-on-one."

" It will be tough, but I will try to wear him out." Goku said, " But I am positive I can beat him, after all, we have been training like crazy."

" You all might have been, but I haven't." Krillin confessed. " Ever since I was killed by Tanbourine, I haven't trained hard enough."

" Nonsense Krillin, I bet you could give me a challenge." Tien said. The three-eyed warrior was sure the fellow bald warrior could give him a tough time.

" Yeah, but this is Piccolo we are talking about." Krillin said, " He isn't exactly some random guy."

Everyone fell silent at that. Sensing the tension at that, Goku felt the need to ease the atmosphere, " Well, if we did it once, we can do it again." He said.

Everybody smiled as they agreed at that. Yamcha looked at his opponent for the round, " Hey Broly." He called, gaining his, and everyone else attention, " If, Kami forbid, Goku loses the round, I am going to forfeit my match as well."

Broly looked shocked at that, " Why'd you do that ?" He asked.

Yamcha sighed, " Well, you are the strongest one out of us, so you would have a better chance of defeating Piccolo." He said, and everyone had to agree with that.

Goku punched his fist, " Well, I am going to make sure Piccolo doesn't win." He said enthusiastically.

" I hope so, Goku, I hope so." Muten Roshi said, as the Announcer called for Goku and MaJunior to come on to the stage for their fight.

So, another chapter is done and I am dying to play Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3. It was the best Dragon Ball game outside of 2.5D fighting style.

For me, 3D games were excelled by Dragon Ball Z BT3, 2.5D has been excelled by DB Infinite World, and 2D has been excelled by Dragon Ball FighterZ.
