Author's note: So I got a case of writer's block and the way I figured how to beat it is I'm going to do a bit of a time jump. I'm skipping over the gang's sophomore year and now at the beginning of their junior year. Enjoy!

Lilly's POV

After another great year of college and summer, I was all moved into my new apartment where I was also living with Miley, Erica, and Michelle. Since Oliver was a year behind he was in a dorm room another year, which was fine especially since he could swipe me into a dining hall now! I was happy about this since I am no longer on a meal plan. I know Travis was in his own apartment with his friends that was not too far from our place. Miley and Travis have been going strong.

Wondering about Jake? Well him and Miley are on their way as friends not completely but they are more civil with each other. Also just recently he and Mikayla became engaged. Even Mikayla is trying to be friends with Miley now.

Anyways, I was getting back to the apartment after grocery shopping with Miley.

"It's feels nice to have food!" Miley said.

"I know it does! I just love to cook." I said.

"Same here!" Miley exclaimed.

"Yeah you two are better cooks then me." Erica laughed.

"I can't believe we're already juniors, it seems like we were just freshman." I said.

"I know it's a weird feeling." Miley said.

"But just think about we all are becoming better people." Michelle said.

"Very true, back then I was dating that asshole and thought I loved him but now I'm with Travis and really know what love is." Miley smiled.

"Very true, college has helped us really learn who we are." I said.

"Okay stop this we're only juniors, we don't graduate till next year." Erica said.

We all laughed. Then we heard a knock on the door followed by Travis popping his head in.

"Hey girls." Travis said.

"Hey Travis." Erica, Michelle, and I said.

"Hey babe." Miley smiled as she hugged him.

"Hey." Travis smiled.

"What's up?" Miley asked.

"I'm actually here to talk to your roommates." Travis said.

"Excuse me?" Miley asked. I knew what Travis was talking about. Everyone had already turned 21 and Miley was the last to and her birthday was this Saturday. So Travis was planning with Erica, Michelle, and me.

"Don't worry, it's all good." Travis said.

"Well, you're lucky I have to meet with my group for a project." Miley said.

"Alright, bye love you." Travis said as he kissed her.

"Love you too." Miley said returning the kiss. And then she walked out the door.

"So Miley's birthday." Travis said.

"Right, so we all are getting stuff to do shots on Friday before its midnight and then we head to the bars." I said.

"Then after that night we come home and sleep till whenever we wake up. We'll eat some food in preparation for later that night." Erica said.

"I'll make her a great birthday lunch then." Travis said.

"Right and then the whole group of us will go to dinner and after head to bars and go crazy." Michelle said.

"This is going to be so much fun." I said.

Miley's POV

I was so excited to get my new ID since I'm turning 21 tomorrow! I had just gotten it and was driving back to my apartment. As soon as I walked in, I showed my friends my new ID.

"Love it!' Lilly exclaimed.

Later that night we were ready to go out that night.

"Time for shots!" Michelle exclaimed as she pour vodka into 4 shot glasses.

"To Miley for finally turning 21!" Lilly said as we took our first shot/

We did a few more shots before heading out to bars. It was midnight since now I could legally go! We ended up back at our apartment at around 3:00 a.m. It was a great girl's night out.

I woke up to some great smelling food coming from kitchen. I got up brush my teeth and washed my face then walked to the kitchen. I saw Travis cooking.

"Happy Birthday babe." He smiled.

"You cooked me breakfast?" I asked.

"Not breakfast, lunch. It's almost noon." Travis laughed.

"You're the best." I smiled as I went over and hugged him. He then gave me a kiss and I returned it. I don't know how I got so lucky with him.

Later, we all went out for dinner. This included Travis, Lilly, Oliver, Michelle, Erica, and a couple of Travis's friends.

Lilly's POV

Dinner was great and after we headed to the bars to celebrate Miley's birthday even more.

"I got the first round of drinks." Travis said as he paid for our drinks.

"Thanks babe!" Miley said as she kissed him.

"Yeah thanks Travis!" I said.

We drank a few drinks there before heading to the next bar.

"I love you Ollie-Pop!" I exclaimed.

"I love you too Lilly-Pop, you feeling it?" Oliver asked.

"Haha yes! I'm just glad you're here." I said as I kissed him passionately.

"Me too." He said as he returned the kiss.

"I'll pay for the next round!" I told the group.

"Thanks Lil!" Miley said.

I went up to the bar. "8 red bull and vodkas." I told the bartender.

"Sure thing." He said turning around. I was shocked to see who it was.

"Lu-Lucas?" I asked.

"Hey Lilly." He smiled as he made the drinks.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I'm a bartender here." He said.

"You don't go to Stanford through." I said.

"No I go to Berkeley, it's not that far from here." Lucas said.

He finished making the drinks and I paid him. I couldn't believe I saw him. I decided I wouldn't tell anyone.

I brought the drinks back to everyone. We drank them and when I finished it, I told everyone I had to use the bathroom.

"You okay?" Oliver asked.

"Yeah I just really have to go." I said.

I went inside the bathroom. My head was spinning; I don't know why I was thinking so much about seeing Lucas. I haven't seen him since high school and I love Oliver!

I walked out of the bathroom and heard.

"Hey Lilly."

I turned around. "What do you want Lucas?"

"Just to talk. I miss you Lilly." He said.

"You cheated on me in high school. And now I'm dating Oliver and I love him." I said.

"I know and when I saw you I couldn't stop thinking about you." Lucas told me.

"Why? We've been over for a while now." I said.

"I feel that there is unfinished business with us." He said. Then he grabbed me and started to kiss me passionately.

I didn't pull away at first. It felt weird and different to be kissing someone else. When I realized what I was doing I pulled away.

"What the hell?" I asked

Lucas looked at me. "I just wanted to see what it would be like."

"What the hell Lilly?" I heard Oliver said.

I turned and looked at him. He shook his head and walked away.

"You asshole. You probably just ruined the best thing to happen to me. I never want to see you again." I said as I slapped him.

I ran after Oliver. He had walked outside.

"Oliver! I'm sorry! He kissed me." I said.

"Yeah, but you stayed like a for awhile." Oliver said.

"It was weird, I couldn't process what was going on. It meant nothing to me." I said.

"You know the Lilly I know, wouldn't have even let him kissed you." Oliver said.

"I'm sorry, I love you not him." I said as I tried to kiss him, but he turned me away.

"Not now Lilly. I need time to think things through." Oliver said.

"What are you saying Oliver?" I asked holding back tears.

"I think we need a break from each other." Oliver said.

I couldn't hold back my tears any longer and fell to the ground crying. Oliver picked me up.

"I'll take you home now." He said as he got a cab.

"Thanks." I said.

I took out my phone and sent Miley a text that I wasn't feeling good so I was going home and Oliver was with me so she wouldn't worry about how I got back.

When I got back to my place, I turned to Oliver.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yeah, I think we need time apart. There was a reason why you let him kiss you. Maybe we've been together for too long." He said.

"Thanks for making sure I got home safe." I said.

"No problem, I do still care about you." He said as he turned and walked away.

I went to my bedroom and changed into sweats. I laid down in my bed and started crying. I cried till I fell asleep
