Lilly's POV

So it's been about 2 months since Oliver and I broke up and I was fine. I didn't really talk to Lucas much since that night only if I was at that bar and he happened to be the bartender that night but other then that no contact with him. I've been surfing more with Todd and Eric and having so much fun. Really don't talk to Oliver that much since I did get my heart broken from him. Good news through, through Todd and Eric I met Seth who I've been sort of dating but nothing official yet.

That's where I happened to be, at his place just hanging out watching T.V. Seth is so nice and different from Oliver in a good way. I needed this change.

Ring ring

I checked my phone, the caller id said Oliver. Just his name, I had gotten rid of the emojis next to his name and the picture of us kissing.

"Ugh, what does he want?" I said as I showed Seth who was calling.

"You won't know if you don't answer, just pick up." Seth told me.

"Alright." I said. Seth was so understanding of this situation.

"Hello." I answered the phone.

"Lilly? It's actually Adam, Oliver's roommate. I was hoping you would talk to him." Adam said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Well, since you guys broke up he mainly just goes to class, does his homework, and plays video games." Adam said.

"Okay, and why do I need to talk to him?" I asked.

"Well, I was hoping you get him out of here and get a social life for him again." Adam said.

"Why me?" I asked.

"You two are close, he would like hearing from you. I feel like you could convince him. Plus soon, cause I want to hang out with my girlfriend here." Adam said.

"So you want me to talk to him so you can hang out with your girlfriend?" I asked.

"Okay I know how that sounds but yes, I am also worry about him. He did so much before your break up, he doesn't do much with the band anymore." Adam said.

"Well, he's not my problem anymore he made that pretty clear." I said as I hung up.

"What was that about?" Seth asked.

"His roommate wanted me to talk to Oliver so he wouldn't just sit there playing video games. There are other people he can call besides me." I told him.

"Don't let that bring you down, you hungry? I get you so dinner to cheer you up." Seth said.

I smiled. "Thanks Seth. Let's go."

Miley's POV

I was walking to Travis's place to go get dinner. I knocked on his door and his roommate let me in. Travis was on the phone.

"Yeah I can. I'll be there soon." He said as he hung up.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"Oliver's hermit way of living has gotten his roommate worried about him." Travis said.

Ever since Lilly and Oliver broke up. Lilly put herself out there and tried to keep herself busy, I think she's just hiding her true feelings and doesn't want to think about Oliver. Oliver was the opposite, most days he stays in his room playing video games except when he has class. Travis and I would try to do stuff with him but he'll make some excuse to get out of it. I've talked to Lilly about it and she's fine with me talking to him since I was friends with Oliver before as long as she doesn't get dragged in to hang out with him.

"Let's talk to him." I said.

We walked to Oliver's dorm and went up to his room. Adam let us in. When we walked in, Travis went to turn off his video game.

"Hey!" Oliver exclaimed.

"Enough dude!" Travis exclaimed.

"Yeah, you've played enough video games. You need to get out Oliver." I said.

"What's the point, everything I did here was with Lilly." Oliver said.

"So, you can start doing stuff without her." Travis said.

"Come on Oliver, let us buy you dinner. You need a meal beside ramen noodles." I said.

"Fine. You two won't give up anyways." Oliver said as he stood up.

We got to the restaurant and got seated at a table. I looked across the way and saw Lilly with Seth. I was glad Oliver's back was to her.

"I need to use the bathroom." I said as I walked over there.

"Hey Miley!" Lilly said as I got closer to her table.

"Hey Lilly, I just wanted to tell you that Travis and I are here with Oliver." I said.

"Okay, so Adam called you guys too." Lilly said.

"Yeah he called Travis, we got him to go out to get dinner." I said.

"Okay that's good for him." She said.

"You're not worry about seeing him?" I asked.

"He let me go to live my life, now he can see that." She said.

"Alright, well I better get back there. Have fun." I said as I turned.

I walked back to the table and sat down.

"Oliver, why haven't you moved on at all?" I asked.

"Cause I know one day Lilly and I will be back together. I needed to give her some space and live her life. Figure stuff out on her own." Oliver said

"But what if she moves on?" I asked.

"I think she'll come back to me. They say if you love something set it free and if its real they'll come back." Oliver said.

I was about to say something but just then I saw Lilly and Seth get up and start walking this way to leave the restaurant. They were walking straight for our table.

"Hey guys." Lilly said.

"Hey Lilly, Hey Seth." I said.

"Seth, you know Miley and Travis and this is Oliver. Oliver this is Seth." Lilly said.

"You guys are dating now?" Oliver asked. I could tell he was upset.

"Yeah. How have you been?" Lilly asked.

"I've been fine." Oliver said.

"Well, we'll let you guys eat. It was nice seeing you Oliver." Lilly said.

"Same to you." Oliver said.

"Bye guys." Seth said as the two walked away.

Once they were gone, Oliver said. "I need to do something with my life rather then just sit around."

"You're just now thinking this?" Travis asked.

"Seeing Lilly with a new guy put things in perspective for me." Oliver said.

"Well coming out to dinner was a good start." Travis said.

And with that we finished eat our dinner, afterwards we were walking around campus. We were talking and Oliver really wasn't paying attention to where he was going, typical doughnut.

"Oliver, watch out!" I exclaimed. It was too late, Oliver bumped into some girl.

"I'm so sorry." Oliver said as he helped the girl out.

"This boy is so clumsy." I giggled.

"It's alright, my mom is always saying I'm going to run into something if I don't look up from my phone." She said with a smile.

She looked at Oliver. "I'm glad I did, aren't you Oliver Oken?"

"How do you know my name?" Oliver asked.

"I remember when your band came here I was a huge fan, but then you all stopped touring." She said.

"Yeah, we wanted to go to college." Oliver said.

"Oh okay, I'm Anna by the way." She said. Anna looked like a nice girl; she was a blonde girl with one green streak in hair and one purple streak. Reminded me of when I had the purple streak in my hair after breaking up with Jesse. She was a little shorter then Oliver.

"Oh I'm Miley and this is Travis." I said.

"Which Miley and I have to get going," Travis said, "See you guys later."

"Nice meeting you!" Anna said.

Travis grabbed my hand and walked away from them. I turned my head and saw Oliver still talking to Anna.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"Help Oliver get out there, Anna is a good start." Travis said.

"Oh okay." I said.

It was weird, Lilly dating a new guy and now seeing Oliver talk to a new girl.
