Author's Note: Wow it's been a long time since I've updated! Life got in the way! The combination of rewatching Hannah Montana on Disney Plus and being stuck inside, inspired me to write another chapter.

Miley's POV

It's about a month till summer vacation and I still can't believe Lilly and Oliver are broken up still. Lilly is still dating Seth but they do not seem that serious. Oliver went on a few dates with Anna but nothing came out of it and has been single for now and has been okay. I don't get it! I want to get involved but Travis is telling me to let them figure it out. He's probably right.

"I just don't get why those two can't figure it out." I went on about it to Travis.

"Miles, we went over this. This is something they need to figure out on their own. The right thing will happen in the end." He reminded me.

"You're right. How did I get so lucky with you?" I asked with a smile.

"It took some time, but I'm glad we got there." He said as he kissed me.

We were sitting in my apartment when Erica walked in.

"I checked the mail, you got something Miley." Erica said handing me an envelope.

Who sends mail anymore? Besides family. I looked at the return address label.

"Jake and Mikayla?" I asked.

"Could be a Save a Date." Erica said.

"That's true." I said as I opened the envelope.

Dear Miley,

I know we had our ups and downs over the years, but I have learned that you are a great person. So I ask you this, will you be one of my bridesmaids?

Mikayla

"Mikayla just asked me to be one of her bridesmaids." I said.

"What are you thinking?" Travis asked.

"I don't know. It's just crazy, she hated me when I was Hannah Montana but not as Miley and actually tried to be friends with me." I said.

"It's definitely up to you. I feel like this something you'll talk to Lilly about." Travis said.

"You know me too well." I said.

Lilly's POV

I was so glad to be done with classes today. I was headed back home and probably getting ready to out with Seth tonight. I say probably because lately he's been acting weird and canceling dates sometimes.

I walked in and saw Miley and Travis sitting on the couch with Miley holding a letter.

"Lilly! I need to talk you!" she said.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Mikayla asked me to be a bridesmaid!" She said showing me the letter. I read the letter.

"This could be a step in the right direction. She could really be trying to be friends with you." I told her.

"What about the history I have with Jake?" she asked.

"I mean it's pretty clear you two are meant to be just friends and nothing else." I reminded her.

"That is true. Maybe I should do it. You're fine with it, Travis?" She asked him.

"Whatever makes you happy." He smiled. He really was good for her.

"Okay I'm calling her and putting her speaker so you guys can hear." She said as she dialed Mikayla's number.

"Hello?" Mikayla answered after a couple rings.

"Hey It's Miley!" Miley replied.

"Hey Miley! How have you been?" Mikayla answered.

"I've been good. I just opened up your letter and I wanted to tell you that yes, I will be one of your bridesmaids." Miley told her.

"That makes me so happy! I am glad we are becoming friends!" Mikayla said.

"Yeah I'm glad things have gotten better between us." Miley said.

"Yeah! Okay so now I'll include in Wedding Party emails or texts! The wedding will probably be next summer since we want to have one of those Disney World weddings and it takes like over a year to have wedding there." Mikayla explained.

"That sounds awesome!" Miley said.

"Yes! Well, looks like my manager is calling me and I have to take. Once again, I'm so happy you're going to be part of this special day!" Mikayla said.

"Same!" Miley said as she hung up.

Just as she hung up Seth texted me saying he'll meet me at my place in an hour.

"I would stay and talk but I need to get ready for my date with Seth." I said as I started walking up to my room.

When Seth came over, we decided to go on a walk around campus. I was picking up a weird vibe from him too. We had been walking and talking for a while when he said.

"So I'm been thinking we need to talk."

My stomach dropped. "About what?"

"About us. I feel like things have been off." He said.

I knew it! "Really? How come?" I asked.

"Honestly, when we started dating you didn't seem that into it. I ignored it and things seemed to be okay. I just feel like we aren't meant to be dating. Like you're an awesome person and it has been great hanging out with you." He told me.

The weird thing was I was not upset at all when he told me and for some reason I was relieved but I don't know why.

"I can see what you mean. It does seem like we have been drifting apart recently." I told him.

"Then with the summer coming up I just feel like we needed to have this talk." He said.

"I understand and thanks for being honest with me." I told him.

"You deserve it. Here I'll walk you home." He said.

And so he did. When we got to my apartment, he turned me.

"I'm sorry things couldn't work out with us, but I feel like this is for the best." He said and gave me a hug.

I returned the hug. "It's okay." And with that I walked inside. I told Miley, Erica, and Michelle everything. And I really was okay with it.

Miley's POV

So Oliver is single and now Lilly is single? Yes! I'm trying to hide my excitement and just be supportive of her.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Actually, I am for so reason. It was a clean break." Lilly said.

"I'm just glad you're okay." I said as I hugged her.
