After travelling through the desert, the alliance had ended up in the capital of Alabasta where Crocodile resides. But due to multiple complications caused by Smoker, all but Sanji, Vivi, Chopper, Eijiro, Aqua, Frosta, Scarlet and Jesse were captured below.
"Wow...I cannot believe we got caught like this." Jexi said as they stood behind a large cage.
"It's all their fault. They just had to go running into trouble." Nami said, pointing to Luffy and Usopp.
"Geez, you guys…" Smoker said.
"Don't you start. We wouldn't be in this mess if you hadn't chased us here." Jiro said.
"Now now. If you all are going to die, you all may as well die as friends, am I right?" said a man with a golden hook with a green jacket on his shoulders.
"Who asked you?" David asked.
"Crocodile." Smoker growled.
"I had heard you were a mad dog, Smoker. Don't see me as an ally, huh? No worries. I'll tell the World Government you died bravely chasing the weakling Straw Hats and their allies." Crocodile said.
"See? Knew he'd pull something like that." David said. "You sure your codename is Crocodile, not Snake? Oh wait, last time I checked, that was already taken." David said.
"Hehehe. Now I don't feel bad about what's going to happen to you. Ms. All Sunday, is the party almost ready?" Crocodile asked.
"Yes. The rebel army marches for Alubarna as we speak." Robin said, arriving.
"(Wow… It's kind of weird seeing Robin as an enemy.)" David thought.
"Well...guess we should make a move then. We have business in Alubarna." Crocodile said before the transponder snail rang.
"Hmm?" Robin said as she answered.
"Hello and welcome to the crap cafe." a voice on the other end said.
"Who the hell are you?" Crocodile demanded.
"Me? I'm Mr. Prince. And the people you have are my shipmates." the voice said.
"Mr...Prince. Where are you right now?" Crocodile asked.
"Yeah. If I tell you...gah!" Mr. Prince said.
"You no good...We've caught a strange man in front of Rain Dinners." a soldier said.
"Kahahahaha! Excellent!" Crocodile laughed. "Were leaving, Ms. All Sunday. Oh...before I go. You should know this room occasionally floods. You'll all die by drowning." he added as the two left.
Meanwhile outside…
"Well done. With a performance like that, the boss should appear right on schedule." Sanji said.
"Yep. Everything's going according to plan." Jesse said.
"You… you dare make a fool out of me? Get ready!" a Baroque Works commander charged.
"No sir." Sanji replied as he knocked out the commander.
"We'll handle fighting against the guys out here while Sanji heads over to where our friends are being held." Eijiro said.
"I see. Cause a commotion and lure everyone outside, which will divert their attention from Sanji." Frosta nodded.
"We know Crocodile will check to see who Mr. Prince is, so the best thing we should do is keep Sanji from getting found out." Aqua said.
As Sanji headed towards Rain Dinners, the others worked to keep the enemy at bay for the time being. It did not take long before both Sanji and Vivi reached Rain Dinners.
"Well...looks like everyone's here." Sanji said.
"Yes but we need a key to get them out." Vivi said.
"Okay...this is gonna be…" Sanji said as a large ball of wax rolled into the room. "Huh?"
It cracked open as crawling out of it was a man with hair shaped like the number 3.
"Ha...you think you did me in that easily, Crocodile!" he said.
"That's...Mr. 3 isn't it?" Sanji said.
"Oh. We can create a key using his devil fruit powers." Vivi said.
"Huh? I don't know who any of you are but no way I'm helping the Straw Hats or their allies." Mr. 3 said creating a wax rope and swinging it around.
"Heh…" Sanji said deflecting the rope easily with a couple of well placed kicks before attacking him. "Damn it, free them right now."
"Okay, okay!" Mr. 3 said, creating a wax key as he unlocked the cell and freed them.
"Nice. Now…" Sanji said before delivering a kick to his face, knocking him right out.
"Nice, Sanji." ZS said. "Less than a minute to kick his ass."
"Uh, we're not exactly setting records here." Sachiko said.
"You know Crocodile's threat actually reminded me something I need to ask, Cheetah. How DID you get to Atlantis when we first met, anyway?" David asked. "We had to take a submarine to get there."
"It was Brainiac's technology that delivered us into Atlantis." Cheetah said.
"Oh, right. I almost forgot about that." David said. "Brainiac, man… I still can't believe how much time has passed since then."
"Well at least we got out before we had a flooding that almost made it look like Atlantis." Jexi said. "Still...Crocodile. We need to go after him. Where is Alubarna?"
"It's east of the desert." Vivi said.
"Guess we know where we're going. Let's move it, people." David said.
The group then took off into the dessert running as fast as they could to Alubarna.
"Alright! At the pace we're going, we should be able to get to Alubarna in no time!" Vashyron said.
