After the events concerning Usopp's departure from the crew, a much more terrifying event was about to occur. A newspaper was printed the following morning concerning Robin and an attempted attack on the mayor's life.
"I don't understand, why would Robin attack Iceberg, the mayor of Water Seven and the guy who owns the entire Galley-La Corporation?" Hagakure said.
"She did it to protect the others." Hope said. "During this time, Robin was seen as a dangerous woman."
"Yeah but that doesn't solve the current problem." Jexi said as hundreds of foremen were outside. "They're all convinced the Straw Hats and us were the ones who planned the attack on Iceberg."
"Well we need to find Robin. I mean...there's no way she could be responsible for this...right?" Glimmer said.
"She admitted she went and attacked him. So it's more than likely she'll go back to finish the job." Tails said.
"Then the only way we're gonna catch up to Robin is going to the same place she's going. The Main Headquarters of Galley-La." Adora said.
"No...she's going to his house. Man, somedays…" Bakugo said before a foreman went at him and blew him away. "But first we gotta blow up these guys."
"Right. These guys won't be able to leave us alone as long as Robin is on the run. So, we might as well knock a few heads while we're at it." David said.
"If that's what it takes…" Gohan said.
They started battling their way through the army of foremen as they headed towards the city before a familiar cyborg jumped down in front of them.
"Ow! So...you're the Straw Hats. You know...I didn't appreciate what you did to my guys and my house." Franky said.
"Your family were the ones responsible for beating up Usopp!" Glimmer retorted.
"I'd watch that attitude honey pie. I'm in a bad mood this week." Franky said. "Beating on my underlings like that? I'm real angry right now."
"Then I guess we have no choice but to fight." Fulgore said.
"Let's do it then! Weapons Left!" Franky said firing blasts out of his left arm.
"Sorry to have to do this to you but...you need to go down!" Vector said as he struck at Franky's back.
"Yow! That really hurt!" Franky shouted as he fell before running off.
"What the…" Flamberge said.
"He's weakness is the back since he could only modify what he could reach." Miles said.
"It was dishonest but we're running on a clock here." Asta said.
"So are the foremen techni...wait...I just figured out how to keep them off us." Jexi said. "Ultimate Color...Charge Shot!" Jexi said, firing a ball of aura at one of the cranes as it fell apart.
"What are you doing?" Colette asked.
"He's got the right idea. These guys are still on the clock. Those cranes are vital to their work. They'll have to stop chasing us to work on repairing them." Fuyuhiko said.
"Ah, I see. So we just have to destroy their equipment." Tenko said.
"Then let's break stuff!" Akane smirked as they destroyed the cranes all over water 7.
"That should keep them busy for now. We now have a clear shot to the mayor's house." Sonic said as they hurried through the city and headed towards the house in question.
Upon breaking into said house, they saw Robin in there along with the mayor and two other men. Both dressed in black with one in a top hat and the other having bull horn like hair.
"I've finally found you, Robin!" Luffy shouted.
"A hinderance...Straw Hat Luffy and his companions...did you all come all this way to take the blame?" Lucci asked.
"You're...the shipwright?! I don't care! Give Robin back to us!" Luffy said.
"We don't have time for this. Blueno, take them out." Lucci said.
"Sure." Blueno said.
Luffy then charged at the man as he easily handled him and kept him on his toes.
"Who the heck are these freaks?!" Mermista said.
"CP9. You could consider them this world's equivalent to secret services." Jexi said. "They use superhuman techniques called the Six Powers."
"The dogs of the World Government basically." Titanica said.
"We in CP9 have trained beyond limits. We are prepared to stake our lives for the government. The Six Powers we have gained are superhuman feats of strength. I'm sure you know it all too well now...the difference between your powers... And those of those groups that the World Government relies on for its toughest missions. Let's take this opportunity to show you something amazing before you die." Lucci said before shifting into a large leopard form. "Cat-Cat Fruit. The Leopard Model. This is your ticket off this island!" he shouted as he sent Luffy flying through the air.
"Uh, I think that's our cue to leave." Hope said.
"I wouldn't worry too much about Luffy. He's recovered from far worse than this." David said. "But soon enough… We'll be sending those guys a message."
"Why give them the courtesy of waiting. I say we take the nearest sea train...and march towards Enies Lobby...after we get the crew back together of course." Jexi said.
"Straight to the point, huh? Well, I can't exactly blame you." David said.
"You sure don't seem bothered by this. You've got nerves of steel." Arctozolt said. "You don't even seem bothered about being branded as a public enemy."
"Well, after all the tussles I had with the Regime, especially when you consider that I'm harboring these guys." David said motioning to Reformed Society. "I may as well be."
"What about you guys? I'm guessing you're okay with this, too?" Dracozolt asked the Royal Knights.
"We have been inducted as Royal Knights in service of King Drasil, and he asked us to accompany him and meld him into a warrior that fights for the sake of his people. If it means having this world's government turned against us...so be it." Alphamon said.
"Such loyalty and dedication. I kind of envy you all a little bit." Cheetah said.
"Well, you guys could've left at any time, and yet you still stuck around." Gallantmon said. "I think that says a little something about loyalty right there."
"I admit, after that little stint with Grodd, it was just us. Considering our reputations, we didn't think anyone would take us in." Poison Ivy said.
"But that all changed when we won the King of Fighters tournament, and helped with the whole Demon plan." Captain Cold mentioned. "Honestly, there's no other guy I know like David who could've brought us along. On a personal note, he's like the little brother I wish I had."
"Besides, being branded as public enemies is hardly anything new for people like us." Cheetah said.
"As for the rest of us, we've already become enemies of the World Government before. Heck, Jexi and his group did it twice." Hope said. "One more time isn't gonna be an issue for us."
"That's true… but what about you, Mark?" Nana asked. "Once we set foot on Enies Lobby and raise hell, there's no going back."
"...And you think I'm gonna say no?" Mark asked. "Our friend's in trouble, "No" doesn't exist in this question."
"Then it's settled. Right, Jexi?" Hope asked.
"Hope...it was settled way before we even discussed it." Jexi said.
