The group rode on the train as it rode through the night as the sunlight began to break as before their sights, they saw a large and massive tower on an island in the distance.
"There it is. The Judicial Island. Enies Lobby." Jexi said.
"I'll never get used to seeing that place." Hope said.
"Once the train stops...run out and start fighting. Our objective, get to the Law Tower and save Robin." Jexi said.
"Got it." David said. "Any enemies you run into on the way are all yours."
"I like the sound of that." Cheetah said.
"Hey David, you seem pretty chill for your first time here. Must be because of everything you told us about yesterday." Hope said.
"Yes. I'm not like Ace Neptune. I don't care what others think of me. I just want to protect those close to me as best as I can. If it means having the World Government brand us all as public enemies, so be it. Some of my choices, like recruiting Reformed Society, may seem puzzling and questionable, but… In the long run, this is what's best for everyone involved." David said.
"I see. That's a very good mindset, David." Ichiro said.
"Uh, guys? We were supposed to start fighting when we get to the island, right?" Nana asked.
"That's right, Nana. Why are you asking?" Ciel asked.
"Because there looks to be fighting already happening over there." Nana replied as the Sea Train sped to Enies Lobby.
On the Judicial Island, true to Nana's word, the fight had already started.
"Yeah...kinda figured. Luffy's likely already beaten us and his crew to it." Jexi said.
"Yeah, that's just his way." Mark said, looking at the location of the fighting. "When it comes to his crew, Luffy's as dangerous as a-" he said before his voice stopped. "...Wait...there's three people with him."
"What?" Rainbow-2 asked as she shaded her eyes, allowing her to get a better look. "Hey, he's right! And one of 'em looks familiar!"
On Enies Lobby…
"Yaaaaaaaaah!" a familiar roar cried as something crashed through dozens of marines. The dust cleared, revealing none other than Draco. "Hahaha! Now this is living!"
"Ease up, captain, we still gotta wait for the heroes to arrive." a young man in an army uniform cautioned, using twin pistols to shoot incoming marines. "Save the battle frenzy for CP9."
"Tab's right, Draco." a woman in samurai clothing agreed, slashing a trio of marines down. "The last thing we need is for you to get beaten down because you tired yourself out...again." she sighed.
"Bah, you worry too much." Draco replied. "Once they get here, we'll tear through these pathetic "keepers of justice" and bring this island crashing down!"
The Sea Train's whistle then sounded as it arrived at Enies Lobby.
"Final stop, everybody out!" Kazuichi said.
"About time!" Natsu said as the Dimensional Heroes charged out first and started battling against the enemy.
"Don't you dare let up on us! We're not leaving...till we get back our friend!" Ranma said.
"Alright, alright. We heard you the first time." David said, signaling the Brave Adventurers to storm the battlefield.
"Geez...why does it feel like we're the last to get into these things? Oh well...nothing we can do now but hand them our support." Gemini said.
"Any support you can give would be welcome." the boy named Tab said as he walked up and saluted the group. "Tab, from the Warrior Universe, member of the Wings of Cosmos. It's a privilege to be working with you, sirs."
"I'm guessing you and your teammates are from the Mercenary Association." Hope said. "But we never expected more people from there to show up. How did you get here?"
"It's simple: Sheriff Sawyer Star called in and explained your run in with the Anarchy Kings. Baron Gold decided to send you all assistance in retrieving the keys. From now until we reach the end of this journey, the Wings of Cosmos are under your command." Tab explained.
"Oh, thanks. It's great to have you guys." Hope said.
"Well then...join the fight. We have to save Robin." Xion said.
"Understood. Oh, one more thing! We have information that two of the Elders are already here on this world, but that information can wait until Nico Robin has been rescued." Tab said. "Now then…"
Tab then turned away from the group and pulled out a whistle, which he then proceeded to blow into. After the whistle, a group of knights, covered in armor and holding swords and shields, appeared out of thin air.
"Knights, you have your orders!" Tab barked. "Wipe out any hostile forces between here and the Tower of Law. Move out!"
At this, the knights marched through the Main Gate, walking in almost perfect sync.
"Whoa, cool! You're a summoner!" Flamberge said.
"Of a sort, yes." Tab said. "I can summon armies from several time periods. However, they'll only attack hostile enemies, so I can't give them complex orders. For now, we have to get to the tower, that's where Nico Robin is."
"You heard the man! Let's go!" Undyne said as the group made their way following the knights.
"Watch out!" a voice said as a man shot down a few gatekeepers as the gates opened wide as a masked man appeared. "Do not be alarmed! I have saved you all!"
"Uh...who are you?" Kendo asked.
"A good question. I am the king of the snipers! I am...Sniper King!" he said.
"Wow! He's got a cape! He's gotta be some sort of super hero!" Luffy said.
"Yes. I was told to assist you all under Usopp's advice." he said.
"So...we all know he's really Usopp right?" Glimmer whispered.
"Yeah but...it's better if we just play along for now." Sheer said.
"Now...let's keep going!" Luffy shouted as they started battling through the enemies trying to stand in their way as they charged through the courthouse. But as soon as they made it to the roof…
"Air Door!" a voice said as Blueno emerged from a door of air. "Never in the history of the World Government has someone stepped so far through its front door! How long will you keep this up?"
"Until we die." Luffy said.
"That being said, why don't you spare us the trouble of beating you up and move out of the way?" Mermista asked before she was hit with a cutting wave from Blueno.
"You seem to be mistaken...you are the weak ones here." Blueno said.
"Nice theory. Let's test it." David said.
"He's right. We aren't the same as then. Because...I've evolved. You can't keep up with me anymore." Luffy said as the blood in his body started pumping as steam came off him. "Gear 2nd!"
"Everyone back off. This is Luffy's fight now." Hope said.
Luffy then attacked Blueno with incredible speed and quick strikes.
"Yeah...this was where...he really started to get stronger." Jexi smirked as Luffy showed no signs of letting up. "Utilizing speed and the shave technique. Though it's normally called instant transmission. It's one of their six powers."
"Jet Pistol!" Luffy shouted, landing a quick hit before pulling his arms back.
"Iron Body!" Blueno said.
"Jet Bazooka!" Luffy said, landing another hit.
"Wow...this guy is built really solid." Scarlet said.
"Okay. How about this? Gear…" Luffy said before Blueno wavered as he collapsed to the ground.
"That's done it." Hope said, looking at Mermista. "You okay, Mermista?"
"Took a big hit, but I'll live." Mermista said. "Hey, can someone give me a…"
"Senzu Bean!" Scarlet said quickly, running over and giving one to her. "Here you go."
"Robin! We're here to get you!" Luffy shouted.
"Go away! I don't want to see you ever again! Why did you come here for me? I didn't ask you! I just want to die!" Robin shouted.
"Is that what you really believe, Robin?" David asked.
"Hahaha! You stupid pirates! You understand nothing." Spandam said emerging. "Put on all the bravado you want. Nothing's changed! I've got the Buster Call at my beck and call." he said holding a golden transponder snail.
"Please! Just stop! If Buster Call is summoned, they'll obliterate Enies Lobby and all of you!" Robin shouted.
"What are you talking about?" Tanjiro asked.
"Twenty years ago, an attack took everything from me and ruined countless people's lives...A single attack from the Buster Call! That attack drove me to find friends that were finally willing to accept me. But the more I wanted to be with you, the more my destiny became a threat to all of you. if this keeps up, you'll see me as a drag on all of you! You'll betray me and throw me aside! That's what I'm scared of the most! That's why I didn't want you to rescue me! We all have to die sometime and I want to die right here, right now!" Robin said.
"Don't be ridiculous! There's no way we'd do that." Sectonia said.
"Man. What idiocy!" Spandam said, pointing to the flag. "Let me show you for yourselves, pirates! The logo represents the bond shared by over 170 nations across the four seas and the Grand Line! This is the world! Do you realize how puny you are by comparison as you resist us? Do you realize the enormity of the organization this girl is on the run from?"
"Read our faces… We don't care." David said. "Yo, Sniper King."
"Yeah. Special Attack! Fire Bird Star!" Sniper King said firing a fire shot shaped like a bird as it hit the flag, lighting it on fire.
"What the? They...they…" Spandam said.
"THEY DECLARED WAR ON THE WORLD GOVERNMENT!" the soldiers shouted in shock.
"You damn right we did!" Hope said. "We'd gladly fight anybody in our way to save our friends!"
"You're all crazy!" Spandam shouted back. "You really think you can take on the whole world and make it out alive?!"
"...Yes. Yes, we do." David said. "In fact, you can send them right now. We'll take them all on!"
"Robin! I want to hear it from your mouth! Tell us you want to live!" Luffy said.
"Do it, Robin. Tell everyone here how you REALLY feel!" David said.
"Robin…" Mark said simply, his expression a mixture of knowing and nervous anticipation.
"Robin!" Hope called.
"Robin!" Jexi shouted.
Robin was shedding some tears at this as some words echoed in her head. "Remember this much. Ain't no one born into this world meant to be alone. One day, you'll find friends that'll always have your back." it said.
"I...I...I WANT TO LIVE! TAKE ME OUT TO SEA WITH YOU!" Robin shouted.
"That's what we like to hear." David said before raising a hand. "All forces… Move out!"
