Not wasting any time, the group charged and laid siege to the Tower of Law, smashing their way inside.
"We're not gonna waste any time. Let's fight our way through the Tower of Law and save Robin before Spandam takes her!" Hope said.
"He's likely already on the way to the Gates of Justice. We need to stop them before they pass through or we'll never see her again." Jexi said.
"Well then, our best option is to take the underground passage that leads to the Bridge of Hesitation." Tab suggested.
"That's not going to work. We need keys to progress, and they are guarded by the CP9's toughest. We need to send two groups to deal with them." David said.
"I can see them up ahead!" Elementa said as they saw a humanoid wolf and giraffe guarding the way to the door.
"Kaku and Jabra. Both of them ate Zoan type Devil Fruits." Hope said. "Mark, Draco, let's go Wolf hunting!"
"Lenny, go with them just to make sure they don't get themselves killed." David said.
"You got it." Captain Cold said.
"The groups then split off to take care of Kaku and Jabra. The first group headed to the right to find Sniper King in trouble against Jabra.
"D-Damn it! Can I even win against this guy?" Sniper King asked.
"Hey, lone wolf!" Mark shouted, bringing out his sword. "Get away from him!"
"You want a fight?!" Draco yelled, running towards the agent. "I'll give you a SLAUGHTER!"
"Draco, wait!" Hope called.
"Ha!" Jabra said before delivering a powerful kick, sending him to the ground before standing on him. "You idiot! You really think we're easy prey? After I kill this guy, you're all next! Haha…" he laughed before a kick was dealt to his face. "What the? Who the hell are you?"
Standing with the others stood Sanji. "The hunter." Sanji said.
Sanji then began fighting Jabra as the others recovered Sniper King and Draco.
"Sorry everyone… I'm just in the way." Sniper King said.
"Don't give up. If you can't do it, leave it to us. Do the things we can't do." Hope said.
"Don't worry about a thing. You can just leave this mangy mutt to me." Sanji said.
"Wait wait! I uh...I actually need your help! See, Robin is actually my long lost sister! Could you please rescue her for me?" Jabra said.
"First off, we're not falling for that. Second, that's what we plan on doing anyway." Captain Cold said.
"Then I'll just chomp you all to death!" Jabra said before Sanji kicked him away.
"Not bad but...about time we ended this." Sanji said as he spun around on one leg before it was engulfed in flames. "Diable Jambe!"
Growling, Jabra leaped into the air towards Sanji as the cook did the same. "Moonlight Ten Finger Pistol!" he called before Sanji countered Jabra's strike. As Jabra grabbed onto one of Sanji's legs, he soon noticed the flaming one above him.
"Diable Jambe! Flambage...Shot!" Sanji shouted, sending the wolf downward and taking him down. "God created food, but the devil created spices. Guess that was a little too spicy for him." he said as he walked off.
"I just got word. Jabra is down." David said. "Next is Kaku. Ladies?" David motioned to Sectonia, Shiozaki and Poison Ivy.
"Oh, we are on it." Poison Ivy said as they advanced to a room where they saw Zoro fighting Kaku.
"More of you? No matter. I'm going to show you all the true power of the giraffe!" Kaku said.
"Yeah...you keep talking, giraffe boy." Zoro said.
"Boy? I am a full fledged giraffe. Make fun of me and you're gonna pay!" Kaku said.
"Breath of Thunder, Third Form! Lightning Needles!" Sectonia said firing needles coated in lightning at Kaku while Shiozaki and Poison Ivy backed her up with plants whipping at him.
"That really hurt but...you all don't match up to me!" Kaku said, pulling his neck in. "Nose Gun!" he said quickly, extending it at them as they blocked his nose.
"Breath of Thunder, First Form. Static Pulse!" Sectonia said as her sword coated in lightning, shocking Kaku.
"You're not gonna beat me like that!" Kaku said.
"Well, how about this?!" Zoro said, leaping into the action and knocking Kaku back.
Kaku slowly recovered before he soon saw Zoro now with six arms and three faces.
"Deadly Nine Sword Style: Asura!" Zoro said.
"I shall cut you all down with the Sky Slicer, the strongest form of Tempest Kick!" Kaku said as he started spinning. "Sky Slicer!" he said, sending out a large cutting wave only for Zoro to break through it.
"The road to battle is laced with untold hardship…" Zoro said before cutting through him. "Asura! Ichibugin!" he said as Kaku collapsed behind him.
"Kaku is down. The door should open now." David said.
The door opened as they charged through only to see Lucci sitting right on top of one of the crates.
"Ah...so you came." Lucci said.
"Nothing personal, but we're here for Robin. And we're not leaving without her." David said.
"Well then, she's right behind this door." Lucci said before Luffy attacked him. "At least let me say "I won't let you pass"." he said before he and Luffy went into a furious martial arts exchange before their colliding fists forced them both back.
"Move it! Robin's through that door right?" Luffy asked.
"She is. But none of you will ever be seeing her again." Lucci said as he entered his leopard form.
"Here we go. Get ready, everyone!" David said.
"Understood." Mark nodded as he drew his gun and fired a beam of energy at Lucci.
"Hmm. Not a bad aim." Lucci said standing behind him as Mark jumped back.
The agent merely Shaved out of the way, before going on the offensive, pouncing on the group.
"Barbara, Leops, Leonora, with me!" David said.
"This is getting interesting." Lucci said before firing several cutting waves from his powerful kicks.
Cheetah dodged the waves before pouncing on Lucci. She got a few claw strikes in before she was tossed aside.
"Fool...a cheetah may be fast but they can't conquer a leopard." Lucci said.
"Then how about dealing with me?" Leopardmon asked. He crashed into Lucci sword first, but was surprised to see Lucci withstand it with just his body.
"Was that the best you could offer?" Lucci asked before swatting the sword away. Leopardmon responded with a transformation into Leopard Mode.
"Perhaps this is more your fancy?" Leopardmon asked.
"Hmm. How amusing." Lucci said as the two went at each other claw on claw.
"Whoa! Leopard vs Leopard! This is getting intense." Jexi said.
"Tell me about it. And considering Lucci's strength, we need to bring out our trump cards." David said.
"Well...this is where you and I stop." Lucci said holding Leopardmon using his tail. "Rokugun!" he said landing a powerful hit on him.
"Heh...you really are powerful but...too bad I never planned to beat you." Leopardmon smirked under his helmet.
"Excuse me?" Lucci asked before he turned around in shock to see Luffy standing there in Gear 2nd.
"Gum-Gum…" Luffy said, firing his fists.
"Iron Body!" Lucci shouted too late as the fists already made contact and battered him against a wall.
"Jet….Gatling!" Luffy shouted repeatedly pummeling him before sending him through the wall as he fell unconscious with Luffy falling backwards.
"I...I did it. LET'S GO HOME TOGETHER! ROBIN!" Luffy shouted.
"We need to hurry. Time's running out!" Ramona said healing Leopardmon and Cheetah.
"Oh no…" Leonora said looking at the horizon as battleships sailed towards them and fired at the island.
"The Buster Call. The crazy idiot went and called it." Tab said.
"Let's grab Robin and get out of here." Leopardmon said.
The group advanced to get Robin, however, Spandam wasn't about to let them go.
"All Marines! Concentrate all your might on the Straw Hats and annihilate them with Robin! Those are your…" Spandam said before a shot hit him as he was knocked out.
"Got him!" Usopp shouted.
"We got Robin but...now we need to get outta here!" ZS said.
"We can't go back to the front. That'll take too long." Jexi said.
"Everyone! Jump off!" Usopp shouted.
"Well, if there's ever a time for a literal leap of faith, it's now." Cheetah said.
They all quickly jumped off and headed towards the sea where a small ship sailed.
"I've come...to get you all." a voice said inside their minds.
"Merry!" Luffy shouted.
They all landed on the ship as it sailed off beyond the judicial island.
"I can't believe it. This ship...it saved us." Zenitsu said.
"Yeah… But for one last ride. Without repairs, it's not going to last very long. But at least it spent its last moments when we really needed it." David said.
David's words were true as once they were out of harm's way, the ship split open into two. It was then, the time had come for them to say goodbye to the Going Merry.
"It's dark and scary down there, Merry. We're gonna see you off. It's probably better...Usopp isn't here." Luffy said as he lit the ship on fire as snow slowly started to fall from the sky.
"I'm sorry I couldn't take you any further." Merry's voice echoed.
"We should be apologizing! I suck behind the wheel! I crashed you into an iceberg. Zoro and Sanji were always breaking stuff on you! Usopp tried to fix you up, but he sucked at it. We're sorry, Merry!" Luffy shouted.
"We tried to help Usopp but… It just wasn't meant to be. I'm sorry…" David said.
"But I was happy for it. Thank you for treating me so kindly." Merry said as it was completely engulfed in flames.
"MERRY!" Luffy cried as they watched the ship burn and slowly sink.
"Ow.. this still gets me right in the heart every time." Hope sighed.
"It never gets easier...saying goodbye." Jexi said shedding tears along with most of his group.
"Let's… Leave these guys alone for now." David said to his group. "Give them time to grieve."
The Brave Adventurers and Team Chronicle headed back to Water 7 as the Dimensional Heroes and Shining Hope Squad stayed as they watched the Merry till it was completely gone.
