"All right...think it's about time we started heading out." Jet said as they awoke the day after saving Dressrosa.
"Yeah. We wait too long, those marines will come and try to arrest us." Jiro said.
"Would they arrest us? I mean...we just saved a whole country." Glimmer said.
"Think about it. Pirates saved a country. And given who runs it now, it wouldn't look good for their reputation being that outlaws saved a country when it should have been marines." Adora said.
"She's right. We need to move. Now." David said.
"And not a minute too soon." CP said seeing marines heading to their location.
"The competitors have a ship waiting for us. We just need to get the Straw Hats to it and then we take off ourselves." Jexi said.
"Then let's not waste any time." Hope said.
The group then headed off to help cover the retreat of the Straw Hats and their allies. They hurried to the harbor as they entered the slowly rebuilding city.
"This is it. Nothing can stop us now!" Hope said.
"You may have escaped all of this...but I will gladly guide you to the gates of Hell." Fujitora said standing in their path.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot we still have this guy to deal with." David said.
"I honestly do not want to do this, after you all saved this land. However, it is the duty of the marines to keep the peace, from the evil known as pirates." Fujitora said.
"We understand. Nothing personal." David said.
"The same here. Now then… what will fate have in store for you?" Fujitora asked, drawing his cane sword.
"Should we really be fighting this guy? I know he's an admiral but doesn't feel right fighting someone who can't see." Terra asked.
"He may be blind, Terra, but that doesn't make him any less powerful." Miu said.
"You've got time to pity me? You've greatly misjudged the situation." Fujitora said as he brought down a pile of rubble on them.
"Incoming!" David said as he used his sword to clear away the rubble.
"You should know this well...when men fight, they should not show any sort of resentment." Fujitora said as gravity surrounded his blade. "Gravito Blade: Great Tiger!" he said sending them all flying through the air and towards the harbor.
Fujitora then aimed to follow them, but then he heard cries of joy as the villagers were running by him. "(I can't hear any traces of resentment in their emotions… they must truly want to help them. I wonder… what do those people really look like?)" he thought as he smiled and sheathed his blade.
"Ow…" Hope said as everybody recovered from Fujitora's attack. "Well, it's a good thing he blasted us in the direction of the harbor…"
"I don't get it." Perfuma said. "That man doesn't seem like all the other Marines we've encountered. He sounds… uncertain about doing his duty. What's the justice code he follows?"
"From what I've heard, he blinded himself so that he wouldn't be fooled by evil." Cheetah said. "I guess there are still some among the Marines that aren't fully committed to Akainu's ideals."
"And it's about time we headed out before he changes his mind and comes after us." Kaminari said.
"Although, I'm a bit nervous about where we're headed next." Hope said.
"I know what you mean there, Hope. My group...or at least, roughly half of us, have experienced the events for ourselves." David said.
"So it really is true? You really have experienced the battles against them for yourselves?" Cheetah asked.
"Yeah and we barely got away last time." Jexi said. "Course, we all knew we had to go back eventually."
"Admittedly, Cheetah, my group actually started out on our own in Rieze Maxia and Elympios. We met up with Jexi and Hope to bring Shadaloo down for good." David said. "And once we did… Oh boy, we got dragged into it pretty quickly."
"Well...we all gotta face trouble like this sometimes." Hope said sighing.
"Yeah...we're going there next. To Whole Cake Island." Jexi said.
