It was soon after their fight had begun that both David and Katakuri were dragged into the Mirro-World where a long staking battle was taking place.
"Flowing...Mochi!" Katakuri shouted as the ground quickly began to turn to mochi.
David brings a trail of ice under his feet, using it to skate over the mochi floor.
"This was just the start. Rainfall Mochi!" Katakuri shouted as mochi tendrils grew from the ground with each one going at David as he passed by each one.
"Okay, this is new." David said as he leaped off the ice, firing ice arrows before landing on another ice trail.
"Unstoppable Donuts!" Katakuri said creating two donut-like constructs beside him as multiple fists emerged from them, shattering each arrow aimed at him.
David closes his eyes as he instinctively dodged the fists as he closes in. "Arctic Style: Crystal Blitz!" he said, dealing a flurry of ice kicks.
"(Did he foresee...no...this is different. He sensed each individual punch and reacted.)" Katakuri thought as he was defending most of the kicks with a few of them getting in on him. "Mochi Anemone!" he said creating multiple donut constructs as fists came flying right at David.
David took a defensive stance as the fists pushed him back. "Breath of Ice, Second Form! Ice Spires!" he said as he planted his sword on the ground as a trail of ice came towards Katakuri.
"Burning Mochi!" Katakuri said, heating a part of his arm as it fired his fist as both sides ended up taking the blunt of the fired attacks.
"We're...ending this now." David said.
"I couldn't agree more!" Katakuri said, running at David as he turned his whole body into Mochi as he spun right towards him.
David charged up energy before entering Sapphire God: Burst Mode. "Here it comes!"
"Buzz Cut...Mochi!" Katakuri shouted as he returned to normal as one arm grew larger with spikes covering it as he was bringing it down above David.
"Sapphire God's Elite Art: Storming Blades!" David said as he summoned blades all around as they were slashing all around before being sent flying towards Katakuri.
Both attacks hit dead on sending Katakuri on the ground and sending David down a large hole. When he emerged, he soon saw Katakuri standing and looking at him.
"One day...will you all return...to try and defeat Big Mom?" Katakuri asked.
"Yes… Of course we will. Because someone with us is destined to become Pirate King." David said.
"(He's looking far into the future.)" Katakuri thought before he collapsed right onto his back.
"(Until we meet again… Katakuri.)" David said in Japanese.
It wasn't long after that he was pulled out of the Mirro-World and brought onto the Galaxy King as they flew far away from Totto-Land.
"Well...we did it. We escaped her...twice." Dan said.
"That place really was hell on earth." Glimmer said. "Guys, if no one minds, I'm gonna skip dessert for the next couple weeks. I don't wanna be around sweets unless i know they won't kill me."
"Still...we were able to get Sanji back and that's all that matters." Jexi said. "Although...now we have to meet up with the rest of the crew in that place."
"Wano… so we're finally going to his territory." Hope said.
"Well...it was going to happen eventually. Us going against the World's Strongest Creature." Jexi said.
"Not only that, but those Anarchy Kings said that they're gonna be there too. I don't know if it matters much to you guys, but it doesn't matter if they're gonna be there or not. We're going up against Kaido. One way or another, we're going to win against him." David said, getting up and heading to his room.
"Where are you going?" Senshi asked.
"If I heard right, Wano's architecture is inspired by Japanese aesthetics, so… I'm going to get my kimono ready." David said.
"Yeah...basically...it's a country of samurai!" Jexi said.
"No wonder Ishihara is pumped up for this one. He'll feel right at home there." Cheetah said.
"Or at least… As close to home as Wano is gonna get." Captain Cold said.
"Just remember...Wano may be our hardest battle here yet. So...don't be afraid to go all out to free it." Natsu said.
