It wasn't long after Luffy's capture that news of it spread across the entire world in secret. Enemies and allies alike would look at the news with either enjoyment or a determination to save him. Many powerful beings are beginning to gather in Wano where an unthinkable war was about to begin.

"The more we stay in this place the more it sinks in that it is under tyrannical rule." Adora said. "I mean...what even was this place?" she said as they hid out in the ruins of an old castle.

"This place was the castle of Wano's previous ruler, Kozuki Oden." Tetsu said. "Least it was before he died 20 years ago and Kaido took over."

"Besides, we can't go save him if we have absolutely no idea where Luffy is." Jexi said.

"Probably one of those slave labor sights that kept being talked about. He's pretty much got a knack for those." Captain Cold said.

"No...Luffy wouldn't go into that so easily. He's probably in some kind of prison." Izuku said.

"Honestly, I don't know which is worse." Captain Cold said.

"Look. We can't keep discussing this. It's clear our first objective is rescuing Straw Hat but…" Law said.

"I see. So that's what you're planning." a voice said as they saw Smoker and Tashigi standing behind them.

"Smoker? Tashigi too? When did you guys get here?" David asked.

"Didn't you hear? Luffy's capture has been spread worldwide. Figures from all over are flocking their way here." Cheetah said. "Yet how it spread remains a mystery."

"Hold on. We did not come here to fight. We're here to cooperate." Tashigi said.

"Cooperate?" Law asked.

"I don't like the idea of working with pirates...but that's what Admiral Fujitora ordered me to do." Smoker said.

"Heh. That Fujitora. I knew he wouldn't let something like this slide." David said. "Well, considering this is Kaido we're talking about, we're going to need all the help we can get here."

"It's not just Kaido. Have you not heard? Big Mom and her crew are also headed for Wano." Smoker said.

"B-BIG MOM!?" most of the crew said in surprise.

"You can imagine the catastrophe that would happen if two Emperors were to butt heads against one another." Tashigi said.

"Yeah… That could be a problem." David said.

"The Marine's main goal is to minimize the conflict between the Emperors. That is why we are here." Tashigi said.

"Since Wano is a closed country, we don't have much jurisdiction here. So that is why we need to ally." Smoker said.

"So...consider this a temporary truce until the matters with both crews are handled." Tashigi said.

"A battle between Kaido and Big Mom, with all of us caught in the middle… Not since the War of Gods have we faced this kind of pressure. We're up against literal titans here." Omnimon said.

"Then I guess it's a good thing I'm not doing all of the strategizing this time." David said.

"Once Kaido realizes she's here, he'll make a move. And it also gives us the perfect opening." Leopardmon said.

"I get it. Most of his forces will be focused on fighting her, giving us a chance to find out where Luffy is and rescue him." Sora said.

"Along with anyone else Kaido has captive." Cheetah said.

"That is a brilliant idea, Miss Cheetah!" a voice said as they saw Bartolomeo and Cavendish approach.

"It's been a long time." Cavendish said.

"What are you guys doing here?" Zoro asked.

"We're here to rescue Captain Luffy of course. We're sworn members of his fleet. Of course we have to rescue him." Bartolomeo said.

"Well...not like they ever plan on double crossing us." Inosuke said.

"Hmm. I have a report from my subordinate. The Beast Pirates have began to mobilize in the nearby town after hearing that Big Mom was coming here." Tashigi said.

"Alright. This is the perfect chance to make our move." Hope said. "Let's use this confusion to find out where Luffy is and rescue him!"

"Don't just focus on the grunts. It's more than likely the higher up commanders might know where he is." Tetsu said.

"I know, I got that lesson back in Dressrosa." ZS said. "Let's go find 'em!"

"It's not that easy…" Tetsu said before seeing the towers across the town. "Or is it? Take out the lookouts in the towers! They're the most likely to know anything."

"Roger that." Teba said.

The group then proceeded to attack the lookout towers, tearing them down and defeating the Samurai Chiefs in them.

"Tell us where Straw Hat Luffy is being held, or you're gonna be sent back to Kaido in a body cast!" Bakugo threatened.

"I don't know….maybe...the neighboring town?" the lookout said.

"Great...he barely knew a thing." Jexi groaned as they headed to the next town. But during the walk, they heard loud laughter as Big Mom crashed down and demolished a nearby arena.

"Mamamama! Where are you...Straw Hat?!" Big Mom demanded.

"Oh great. Now we gotta deal with her." Dracozolt said.

"Where is he?" Big Mom demanded as she demolished a house. "I'll turn this whole town to dust if he isn't brought to me!"

"We need to get her away from the town." Mayumi said.

"Hmm….I may have an idea." Tsumugi said before dressing up like Luffy. "Oi! Big Mom!"

"Straw Hat…" Big Mom said.

"You want me? Come get me!" she said running off as Big Mom followed her. "I'll keep her distracted for awhile. You just focus on finding him!"

"She'll be fine." Tetsu said. "Focus on the lookouts posted here. As for me...I need to take care of something." he said before walking off and finding Taishido in the midst of battle.

"Ha!" Taishido yelled as he cut down the soldiers surrounding him before he faced Tetsu. "Ah, fellow warrior! We meet at last!"

"Who are you supposed to be?" Tetsu asked.

"Ah, I am the Emperor Taishido, Elder of the Shinto Universe, and former ruler of the Sword Kingdom!" Taishido declared. "I have been looking forward to this meeting for quite some time!"

"See, the funny thing is...you make a good storyteller...but a pretty awful liar." Tetsu chuckled.

"You dare to sully the name of your former emperor?!" Taishido asked.

"Emperor? Records never mentioned you. I would know." Tetsu said before showing his mark. "Because I'm the last of that fallen kingdom. And FYI...the last king died hundreds of years ago. And we've never once used the term emperor."

"What are you talking abo-?" Taishdo started before he abruptly stopped "Wait...he's right. Be silent. I'm not...He's lying. No...who are you? I'm you!"

"I see...I'm literally dealing with a two faced man. Well, no need to keep you waiting." Tetsu said. "I am Tetsu of the 600 Swords! Remember it well. It's the name of both a fool who sought immortality...and the one who will defeat you this day!"

"I can't...Kill him now! I can't stop! HELP ME! DIE, LIAR!" Tashido roared as he drew his sword.

(Cue: Wild Arms 2 - Battle vs Toka & Ge)

The sword itself was a serrated Nodachi with long points like fangs and emanating the aura of a thousand predatory beasts.

"Tetsu… long have I awaited this day. For you to die by this legendary sword! Number 350: The Fanged Predator!" Taishido said.

"I see...that is indeed a nice sword." Tetsu said before drawing a strange blade with a strange spiritual feel surrounding it. "This is sword number 465: The Morality Blade!"

"It's time to die. At the hands of the style you practice!" Taishido said. He then clapped his hands together and moved similar to Tetsu.

"I see...you're nothing...but an idiot fanatic." Tetsu said. "That's nowhere close to how I move." he said, clapping his hands as Taishido stopped in his tracks.

"What's going on?" Taishido said. "I feel off and…" he muttered before Tetsu stood next to him.

"Not bad for an imitator. I'll give it a C." Tetsu said, slashing him with the sword as Taishido glowed red and blue.

"I must stop..No, he must die! Why must he die?... Because he is...is...what...the?" Taishido said before there were two of him looking at one another.

"Seems the blade has done its work." Tetsu said sheathing it.

"What have you done to me?!" Red Taishido asked.

"I'm…looking at myself?" Blue Taishido asked.

"It's called the Morality Blade for a reason. It can only be used against those who are on the ledge between good and evil. Once they are cut, those halves are separated for 10 minutes...or until one of them is slain." Tetsu said.

"Tetsu of the 600 swords…. Why are you diverging from your heritage?!" Red Taishido asked. "You are of Sword Kingdom blood! Why are you siding with those Puppet masters that are gods?!"

"Gods? I have never sided with any puppet masters. I only fight for my friends and for the hope of one day breaking my curse of immortality." Tetsu said. "Besides, The Sword Kingdom fell because its citizens tried to claim power for themselves. This age...it has no need of some pretender king or emperor telling them how to live their lives."

"You...You...FALLEN HONORLESS SCUM! DIE!" Red Taishido ran towards Tetsu…

...until he froze, his body going straight as a blue-colored sword ran through his chest.

"...No." Blue Taishido said as he pulled his sword out. "The honorless one...is you."

"You...you can't do this...we were...supposed to help recreate the Sword Kingdom. We were going to kill all of the spirits of Japan." Red Taishido said as he started to fade as the blue one began to regain his normal color.

"The Sword Kingdom is gone. It will never return. So instead...I send you to wherever they may be. Goodbye." Blue Taishido said.

"...Then...it was all for nothing?...No. Tetsu, know this. Though it ends in tragedy, know this...Taishido of the Sword Kingdom...lived a good life." Red Taishido said as he faded away completely.

Taishido, now one being, sheathed his sword and kneeled to Tetsu.

"Forgive me, Tetsu. I should have never caused you this trouble." Taishido apologized. "You see, this crusade of mine was actually brought on by a curse. I was but a humble traveling ronin…."

"You can stop storytelling now. I know now who you are. Someone who was inspired by that kingdom's history. A fanatic. And one you slayed...was the result of your twisted ideas and dreams." Tetsu said. "Now...raise yourself. You need not disgrace yourself like this."

Taishido then rose up.

"I thank you for helping me face the truth. But, if I may ask...what should I do now?" Taishido asked.

Tetsu smiled as he headed into town. "Go back home...and start over from zero and build yourself up stronger. Become someone you can be proud of...not something that no longer exists." Tetsu said.

"I will. Thank you, Tetsu of the 600 Swords. Speaking of which…" Taishido said as he unbuckled his sheath and laid it on the ground.

"Keep your sword. I have no right taking it when you were having issues." Tetsu said.

Taishido watched as Tetsu disappeared into town.

"Hm." Taishido smiled. "What an honorable man."

"Monsieur!" a voice called out as one of Le Kraken's crew ran up. "We have found zhe Straw Hat! He's being held at Onigashima! We heard from...gah!" he said being pierced through.

"Onigashima...that's nice to know." a voice said as they looked up to see Katakuri standing over them. "Thank you for the information."

"No!" Taishido yelled as the crew mate crumpled to the ground. "You won't get away with that!"

"Willow...Mochi!" Katakuri said, beating Taishido up before he fell to the ground. "You can't do anything about it." he said as he walked off.

"Urgh…" Taishido groaned as he shakily got up. "Damn...he's right. However...it won't be me that avenges this death."

Taishido then looked to the fallen crew mate sadly before he picked up the body. "I'm truly sorry...let's get you the rest you deserve." he said as he walked off.

Once the battle had ended, a small team of Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku, Xion, Roxas, Flamberge and Francisca went off towards Onigashima in order to free the captive Luffy.
