He then had a shirt on and I held Tommy's hand in mine as we walked to the diner he then let go of my hand to get the door and held it open for me I went in . "Thank you ." I had said as I walked in then he came behind me . " You're welcome ." he smiled as he walked in too then we sat down together as we waited for a waiter music played on the juke box in the background while we waited . "Wait a minute I know this song it sounds familiar ,it's the song called Angel by Aerosmith isn't it?" Tommy asked curiously. "Yep it is ." I told him as I nodded . "Awesome I love this song ."he said as he smiled. "Yep and me too I love it ." I had told him. "That's pretty cool ." I had said to him as well
Later on then a waiter walked over to our table ."Hello my names Gina I'll be your waiter ,what would you two like ?" she asked curiously. "Can I get a ham and cheese sandwich with tomato and lettuce in it and a salad on the side with a strawberry milkshake please and thank you. "Tommy had replied . "Yes you may and what do you want?" She asked me . "I'll have the same thing please and thank you ." I smiled . "Alright coming up . " she had said then went to go in the back to make everything and a few minutes later she brought out the plates with the salad and the sandwiches on it and someone else had brought the milkshakes . "Here you go enjoy ."Gina replied as she smiled at the both of us . "Thanks ." We both said at the same time then we started to eat together . "You're welcome ." She said as she then left .
The music played in the background as we ate lunch together. He had finished chewing his food for a minute before speaking . "Man this sandwich and this salad is really good do you agree?" He asked curiously as he had spoke . I finished chewing mine then started talking as well . "Yes indeed it is actually I so totally agree with you ." I smiled as I then drank some of my milkshake ." Me too ." He smiled . She came back to the table . "How is it ?" She asked curiously. "It's really good ." We both said at the same time . "That's good to hear ." She said as she smiled then walked away to pick up some of the dishes people left over on the other tables after people had left the diner .
Later on we had both finished our food and drank our milkshakes as we waited for her to come back to our table to collect our dishes and so Tommy could pay her for the food . She came back once again and collected the dishes and gave them to another waiter to bring them in the back while she had told Tommy how much money to give her so he gave her the money then we both got up ,put our jackets back on then left the diner .
