I Kid You Not (A Drabble)

Danny reveals his secret to his parents, and they take it well. I mean REALLY well. As if they can top that!

One night, Danny felt like he couldn't hide anymore. He knew his parents would eventually find out that he was "the phantom". He went downstairs to confess.

Maddie was bewildered, as Danny expected. Jack, however, was not.

"What's wrong, Dad?" Danny asked, "This is big news, me being able to turn into ghost!"

"Yes, Danny," said Jack, "But it's not the craziest news I've heard this week."

"What?"

"I saw a report of a scientist. I kid you not, he could turn himself into a pickle!"

"A what?"

"Yes, son. A pickle. It was the funniest s*** I've ever seen!"
