Eric had the door wide open when they heard the slam. William refused to move not wanting to draw attention to their position. They could heard Spencer moving through the home.

"I'll be back my love! Wait for me with as little sorrow as possible!"

Spencer moved through the home leaving quickly without another thought. William and Eric moved quickly down the steps to the other rooms on the first floor.

Grell stood at the end of the chain looking for something with enough force to help break the chain. She groaned having nothing to reach for.

"Grell?!"

Her heart stopped hearing the familiar Scottish accent in the distance. "Eric?! Eric Slingby is that you?!"

She hobbled closer to the door trying her best to yank at the chain. "I'm in here! The bastard has me tied down, I need something to cut this chain!"

William yanked the door opened seeing her. She looked well enough. No form of battery or assault in an obvious manner. "We've been looking for you."

Eric looked into the room getting goosebumps. The idea someone could kidnap another for their personal possession was unsettling.

"Are you alright?" he asked, helping William examine the chain.

"I'm fine. I need to get out of here. He's nuts!"

William examined the the chain grunting rather upset at the situation. "Do you have something useful in the car, Eric?"

"I might. Gonna take a minute to break this off with no key."

Grell stood still thinking of what to do. "I think he might have it on his person."

"I'll go check the car." said William. He grabbed the keys from Eric's pocket running out the door. He made it out the back door when a plank of wood smack him on the back of the head.

Eric yanked on the chain getting frustrated. "This stupid thing should be weaker than it seems."

He picked up his phone making a quick call to the police and her parents. They were more than happy to hear she had been found. Eric pocketed the device holding her against him.

"Eric?"

"I'm glad you're not dead. Scared me shitless."

She remained still, hugging onto him. "I'll remember to make a note of that. Call before getting kidnapped." Grell had a sudden sensation that something wasn't right. "Can you call William? Make sure he's found what you need?"

Eric pulled out his phone giving William a call. The was call went straight to voicemail. He frowned looking at her. "He didn't answer."

"Go check on Will. You've already altered the authorities."

He frowned turning to face the door. "And leave you here for that man to come back to? I don't think so."

She smiled feeling a bit safer than before. "There has to be a way out..."

"I know. We need to make sure you're okay. We can wait here all day if it takes some time for the police to get here."

Their conversion was interruption with banging on the door. Eric smiled getting off the bed. He patted her shoulder opening the door up.

She curled up on the bed trying to get as comfortable as one could with a chain. Eyes opened wide seeing Spencer at the door.

"I think we have some intruders, my love."

He held a gun in his hands with the end of the barrel pointed directly at Eric's face. His hands seem to tremble a bit. She couldn't figure out if it was possible to breathe.

"They're trying to split us up. Just like everyone else in our lives. I should've taken you away a long time ago."

Eric's vision seemed to blur with the moments slowing down to nothing. The idea crossed his mind to smack it out of his hand but, that was quickly erased knowing the consequences.

"Andrew..."

The two men turned their attention to the redhead.

She forced her nervousness to stay hidden behind a calm expression. "Andrew...you don't need to do this..."

He gripped the gun tighter looking between her and Eric. His breathing was hard from having to not act immediately.

Grell moved closer trying to treat the situation with absolute delicacy. "You wouldn't hurt my boss, would you? You wouldn't crush my dreams and make me sad, would you?"

"No, of course not."

Eric kept his arms raised breathing slowly. "Hey, mate...put th-"

"Shut your fucking mouth!"

Grell's heart was pounding so hard. She moved a bit closer with her arms raised up. "Andrew please, calm down. Can't we talk?"

"Talk about what?"

Eric glanced back at her like she was mental for trying to reason with him.

"You know, Eric would make a witness for us. We can run off and be together. I can continue singing and you can be my personal photographer."

"Personal photographer?"

She nodded moving as close as the chain would allow. "We could be play nice and Eric would allow me to become a star. Only you would see me in private."

His hand was shaking still pointing the gun at Eric. "What about a family?"

"You know my mother liked you. Didn't you know that? She'd love some grandchildren so soon."

"She does?"

"Yes. She'd love a son-in-law so dedicated to her only princess." She forced a smiled lowering her hands a bit.

"So, you're changing your mind? You want us to be together?"

She nodded glancing over at Eric. "Can you allow Eric be go to the water closet? I'm sure he close the door and give us some privacy?"

Eric just stared at her. She'd finally lost it.

"Of course!"

Andrew nudged Eric across the room to the water closet. He pushed him in still having the weapon clutched in his hand.

"Wait!"

They turned around to see her process something in her head. "Eric, you need to shut the door and lock it. There's no window to escape from."

Eric stated at her for a second understanding the situation. "Okay. Sounds like I'm suck in the shit box for a minute."

"That's a good boy. Be a nice lad and let us have some time together."

Eric shut the door as he was told, making sure they could hear the clicking of the lock. He let out a deep sigh looking around for an exit.

He noticed there really was no window. So, jumping out was out of the question. His large arse wasn't going to be able leave, even if he tried. He stopped for a moment looking around for some kind of weapon.

Grell stared at her kidnapper with her stomach turning. She just wanted Eric out of harm's way.

"Glad you like the idea of us being together. I just don't think you should return to singing."

"Why not?"

He reached out to touch her face. It took a huge amount of strength to not flinch. She looked at him praying for him not to hear her heart racing.

"I want you to stay with me. No need to be in the public eye."

"Why would it matter if I sing out in public? No one would be able to get near me. You can hand select the bodyguards and everything."

The handle to the door slowly began turning in her field of vision. She quickly grabbed Andrew by the hand bringing him closer. She wasn't keep his eyes off her.

"Is it that you can't resist being the one to hear my voice?"

Andrew knew she wasn't completely his just yet. He grabbed her face with one hand making her look into his eyes. "Will you sing for me? Right now. Something like you'd sing at one of your clubs."

"A little something?" She gave a nervous laugh trying to get her brain to focus on anything she could.

"Well?"

"I know something. It's an old song but, I love it nonetheless."

Hia features softened stroking her cheek gently. "Oh? Sing it for me. I want it to be special."

She smiled closing her eyes trying to act as relaxed as possible.

"Night time am a-fallin',

everything is still.

And the moon am a shinin' from above."

She blinked a couple of times trying to give her most sultry poses.

"Cupid am a callin' every Jack and Jill.

It's just about the time for making love."

She moved a little bit back having the jingle of the chain follow her.

"Someone is a-waiting all along for me.

No more hesitating, I must go and see

"How dee do, Dear, it's with you dear

That I love to be."

She crossed her arms hugging herself with the desire she could give. If it were Eric or William, she would have meant it.

"Put your arms around me,

Honey, hold me tight.

Huddle up and cuddle up with all your might.

Oh! Oh! Won't you roll those eyes?

Eyes that I just idolize."

Her voice became a little bit lower trying to be as appealing as possible. Her leg lifted trying to run it along the other seductively.

"You sing so beautifully Grell."

Without any warning, he was smacked in the back of the head with the ceramic lid of the toilet. Eric groaned dropping it on his head on purpose. "Little fuck..."

She let out a weak laugh before reaching out for him. "I hope your alright darling because if he hurt you-"

He raised his hand stepping over the unconscious body pulling her close to him. "I'm fine. That little shite had it comin'." He lifted her face up to meet his gaze. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. We need to get out of here and fast. Wait... Where's William?"

Eric sighed looking back at Spencer. "Let's get the keys and break you out." He moved around his clothes finding it on a chain around his neck. "Why is he such a freak? How do you know him?"

"We went to school together. Our mothers were friends and kept making comments about us getting married so they could in-laws. I knew it was a joke but, I guess he took it to heart."

Eric unlocked her shackles helping her out of the room. He jammed the doorknob not wanting to risk him getting out. "So, let's get Spears and wait for the police to arrive."

"Okay." She looked around feeling so odd in the other parts of the home. They search room by room with still no signs of William. Grell was beginning to panic until they heard loud groaning coming from under the stairway. In the broom closet William was tied. They hurried to his side opening the door. He looked up at them his vision obscured.

"Where the hell are my glasses?"

"Don't worry about that right now ya ninny. Let's get out of here." Eric helped him up just throwing him over his shoulder.

The three made their way outside with the patrol car arriving to aid them. Grell was so excited to see them as her feet touched the pavement.
