This is the first fanfiction I'm writing, so I wanted something very simple instead of trying a complex story, I will get there eventually, but today I don't have enough experience and skill to do so.
I'm using this story as a plataform to find where and how I can improve, that's why I will be happy to receive any and every critic that helps me to develop my skills. Also, english is not my native language, but i'm studying it a lot, so, if you find any mistakes, feel free to correct me!

- Chapter 1 – First Step -
Somewhere inside the naval district – Thursday afternoon
- Eh!? Tenryuu-san!?
Musashi was taken aback by the sudden question made by the light cruiser.
- Yes... You heard it right… Would you accept going out with me, Musashi-san?
It took an unbelievable amount of courage to ask Musashi for a date, especially because of their class and size difference. The idea of a light cruiser being able to go on a date with a battleship was just ridiculous for Tenryuu, and maybe for everyone else, but she was in love.
Her love was strong, but her crush seemed so far to reach that she decided to give up before this love could hurt her more than it already did. But in order to fully give up, she needed a refusal, making sure that such love was indeed fool. That way she could forget about it and move on. What she wasn't expecting though, was…
- Y-Yes Tenryuu-san…
~Eh? What?
- I accept going out with you…
Tenryuu looked up to meet a blushing and smiling Musashi, what made her heart go on a full override. She could only dream of Musashi accepting her invitation, but never thought about it really happening, much less to see the battleship being happy for it.
This was the first time someone asked Musashi for a date. She was stunned with the feelings she was experiencing in that moment. She admired Tenryuu, always energetic, eager to fight and a loving senpai for the destroyers, but never had much contact with her. From one second to another, a person that she only talked to some times before, became the most special person in the world.
It took some moments to the light cruiser come back to her senses.
~ So… what am I supposed to do now?
Tenryuu stood still for some moments.
- Tenryuu-san… Are you all right?
~ I-I need t-to say something!
- Ah! Yes! I am… hehehe… So… W-When will you have a day off?
~ Ugh... That was terrible... - She scolded herself mentally
- Hmm… Next Saturday… Sounds good?
- Yes! Saturday is also my day off!
- So, where do you plan to go Tenryuu-san?
- Well… It's… Not that sophisticated… I just… Thought on walking downtown and maybe watching a movie… I don't know if it will suit your tastes…
In fact, Tenryuu had never thought about it, so she answered with the first things that came to her mind. A nice and common walk downtown sounded good for her, but she really didn't know if Musashi was going to be pleased with that, since she knew little about the girl's tastes. Everything from the acceptance of her invite forward was new territory, not only for her, but also for Musashi.
Musashi liked the idea, a simple walk like that was perfect for a first date.
- It feels good for me, you don't have to worry too much about it!
Said Musashi with a big smile in her face. Her confident persona helped her to keep the composure, but she could not contain the blushing on her face.
Tenryuu was melting in Musashi's smile, hardly seeing her blush, it was so bright, beautiful and… sincere. She never felt so much happiness in her entire life.
- So… Can we meet at 11:00 at the main gates? This way we can have lunch… To-together…
Tenryuu's face had a soft red color, her eyes focused on Musashi's, but it was very clear the light cruiser was having a hell of a fight with her shame, trying as hard as she could to keep her composure. At this point, Musashi had met one Tenryuu's side she couldn't even imagine…
~ C-Cute! So cute!
In her eyes, Tenryuu became cute, extremely cute, and that was making her heart beat like crazy.
- Yes! 11:00 then!
- So... T-that's it... S-see you around, and… Until then!
Said Tenryuu, feeling her face heating up as she faced Musashi.
-Yes… Until then!
Both girls parted their ways with a big smile in their faces, barely holding the happiness inside their hearts. They couldn't wait for Saturday to come, but soon enough a question emerged in their minds.
