Magic And Love Of A Family
"Oh, Elliott, I had a wonderful time tonight," Echo said to her boyfriend.
"I did too, Echo," Elliott said with a smile. "Your wings are working well?"
"Yes," she said happily as her wings fluttered, catching the light of the full moon and making them sparkle. She gave Elliott a loving look. "You made them well, my handsome knight."
"Only the best for my songstress," he said to her.
It wasn't long before the Water/Dark Portal Master and the water dragon made it back to the Academy, but Echo paused for a moment. "Elliott," she said softly, making him look at her. "Is...Is it okay if I stay in your bed tonight?" She asked.
He smiled and nodded. "Of course," he said before they went in and were soon in his room. Elliott changed for bed while Echo jumped up on the bed and settled down, enjoying how comfy it was. She watched her knight come out of the bathroom and she smiled, giving him loving eyes.
Seeing this, Elliott smiled at her and went over, kissing her deeply. She returned the kiss before her boyfriend shut off the lights and got into bed, cuddling with the water dragon, who kissed him again, moaning in pleasure as the covers got tangled around them as they continued kissing.
The next morning, Rachel was walking the halls looking for her sister when she saw Echo come out of Elliott's room and the dragon had a dreamy look on her face. The Tech Portal Master smiled. "Did you sleep well, Echo?" She asked.
The water dragon nodded and smiled. "How did I get lucky to have such an amazing boyfriend?" She asked.
"It was meant to be," Rachel said before something clicked. The water dragon looked like she had just been in absolute bliss and she smiled. "Oh, that's why you're in a good mood," she said with a smile.
Echo blushed a dark red. "That obvious?" She asked.
"Just a little," the Tech Portal Master said. "And don't worry. I won't say a word."
"Thank you," the water dragon said gratefully before smiling. "Elliott really is the best. I couldn't ever picture my life without him."
Rachel smiled before seeing some of the other Portal Masters were starting to emerge. "Well, looks like Ghost Roaster's cooking is waking everyone up," she said before chuckling as she saw Crystal come out of her room. "Including my sister who's usually not a morning person."
The little girl smiled. "Yeah, but I smell pancakes," she said.
Everyone laughed in amusement before heading out to the dining room, digging into the yummy pancakes and other food that the cook had made.
It was later that day when Elliott was meditating in his room that Echo was searching for Spotlight and Blackout when she felt an odd feeling in her stomach. Curious, she paused, but couldn't figure out what it was. She then spotted Sonic Boom and went over to her. "Hi, Sonic," she said.
"Hey, Echo," the griffin said with a smile. "How are you doing?"
"I'm good," she said before feeling that strange feeling again and a strange look must have come to her face because Sonic Boom looked worried.
"Are you okay, hon?" The motherly griffin asked.
"I...I don't know," she admitted. "I...I feel strange."
Rachel, who happened to be passing by, saw them and was about to wave when she saw Sonic Boom motion her over. Going up to them, she kneeled down. "Is everything okay?" The Tech Portal Master asked.
"I think something's going on with Echo," said the griffin.
Echo panted a little bit as if she had been running. "I feel...really strange," she said. "Like...I don't know."
"Are you in pain?" Rachel asked worriedly.
"No," the water dragon said. "I just feel strange."
Moments later, she sat up and looked confused. "Huh, it's gone," she said in surprise.
"I wonder what it was," Sonic Boom said.
"Perhaps you ate something that didn't agree with you?" Rachel asked.
"I don't think so," Echo said. "I was fine at breakfast."
The three of them looked curious but just then, an alarm rang out and Rachel moved fast, seeing it was the alarm for a villain breaking out of the Villain Vault. "It's Rage Mage!" She cried out before seeing another villain break free. "And Eye Scream!"
"Come on! I'll help you!" Sonic Boom said.
"I'll get Elliott and join you!" Echo said, running to find Elliott, who saw her coming towards him as he came out of the Academy. "Elliott, Rage Mage and Eye Scream have escaped! Rachel and Sonic Boom have gone after them!"
He nodded. "They'll need help," he said before smiling at her. "You feel up to it, my songstress?"
"You don't have to ask my twice, my handsome knight," she said with a grin.
Flynn took them on his ship over to Monster Marsh. "Ugh, it's just like Eye Scream to come back to this place," Rachel said. "Since it's were she was defeated."
Echo gagged at the smell. "Something stinks," she said.
"Must be from the swamp," Sonic Boom said. "We might need get Marsha to help us."
Elliott looked up to see a fairy coming towards them. "Looks like she's coming now," he said.
Marsha looked relieve to see them. "Hurry!" She said, leading them down a path where Eye Scream and Rage Mage were trying to enter the swamp, but for some reason couldn't.
"Rage Mage use magic!" The small magic villain said.
"Not so fast!" Rachel said with a growl.
Sonic Boom let out a screech that made Rage Mage shriek while Echo let out a siren song that rattled Eye Scream so much that she couldn't shoot out eyeball minions at them. Elliott brought out his sword while Rachel pulled out a blaster like Magna Charge's and they jumped into the fray, winning the battle moments later and trapping the two. "Quite foolish of those two to break out," Elliott said. "I wonder why?"
"They were after some of the swamp dragons' eggs," Marsha said. "Now is the time for them to lay eggs and they don't like being disturbed."
"Those two probably thought if they disturbed the laying mothers, they would attack anything around them," Rachel said in shock.
"Hmph! That was very stupid on their part," Sonic said. "Swamp dragons attack those that poach their nests. If they sense you mean no harm or just accidentally wandered too close to their nests, they won't attack."
"Good to know," Echo said. "Because the nests are right there."
They saw she was right as they were near the nests, but the swamp dragons were looking at them calmly. Elliott nodded to them. "We're sorry to disturb you," he said. "We'll head out now."
The group made it back to the Academy and while Elliott went to report their mission success to Master Eon, Rachel put the villains away and Sonic Boom went with her. Echo felt the strange feeling again and quickly got someone safe and secret, having a feeling she knew what was going on.
Sure enough, she laid three eggs. Her eyes widened in shock before she felt happiness that she and Elliott were going to have children, but also fear as to what to tell him. "How do I tell him?" She asked herself.
But no answer came to her as she began building a nest around the three eggs.
Will Echo tell Elliott? Stay tuned to find out! :)
