When reading most of the Warriors book, I come up with a lot of AU's in my head, most i will never write about, so no one but me would hear them. I haven't wrote anything in years, but I figured I would write something quick last night. I don't really care if anyone reads this, writing this AU is just something I wanted to do for myself. For anyone reading, this probably won't be anything good, I am not really good with putting my thoughts into words, I try but this is what came out, the Prologue of my first story in a few years.

Bright Stream was one cat in a group of travelling cats on their way to find a new home. On their journey, they had run into an obstacle. That was four eagles aiming for the hiding cats.

Shaded Moss, the leader of the group, selected Bright Stream on a group of cats to fight off three of the eagles, alongside her tribemates, Gray Wing, Turtle Tail and Cloud Spots.

A light gray tom, Bright Stream's mate named Clear Sky, objected against his leader, "I'm not sure Bright Stream is fast enough."

"I'll be fine," Bright Stream tried to reassure her mate, "Gray Wing will protect me." She playfully flicked her tail tip over his ear as she padded to Gray Wing. The group of four cats left to the edge of the overhang which the group of cats were hiding from.

Gray Wing was the first to pounce at the large birds. Two of the eagles separated from the others and Cloud Spots and Turtle Tail went after them, distracting the two birds.

'I could help protect them with a distraction.' The brown tabby faked a limp and when the eagles darted toward the ground, Bright Stream ran for cover.

"That was risky" muttered Gray Wing.

"But it worked!" Purred Bright Stream.

Gray Wing flicked his tail toward a nearby bush.

'He has a plan.'

"Okay, I'm ready! I'll follow you." Bright Stream meowed.

The pair of cats pounced forward. They leaped for the eagles but misjudged the jump. In the corner of her eye, Bright Stream gasped as an eagle grabbed onto Gray Wing. The same happened to her, the cats have become the prey for the eagles.

The she-cat felt her paws leave the ground, she and the dark gray tom was being lifted away from their group. Bright Stream's vision became hazy as she heard one last yowl before she couldn't see her friends anymore, it was Clear Sky.

"Bright Stream! Gray Wing!"

Gray Wing hissed, Bright Stream saw blood falling down from his sleek fur from where the eagle was clawing at her friend.

"We have to attack! I can't go down like this." Gray Wing tried to sound brave but she could hear fear coming from his mew.

Bright Stream twisted and clawed at the eagle, the attack caused the eagle to let to of Bright Stream, the eagle's compainion also let to of Gray Wing.

'Maybe we shouldn't have done that.' The two cats started to plummet toward the ground below them. It was a long fall but when they reach the floor, there was no way they would survive.

The she-cat closed her eyes and waited for death to reach her.

"Are they going to be okay?"

"Back off, kit!"

Bright Stream hissed from the pain, then came shock as she realized she wasn't dead.

"She's alive!" Mewed the first voice, it sounded higher pitched than the second voice.

"I wouldn't let a cat die on my watch." Growled the second cat.

Bright Stream slowly began to ope her eyes. She needed to see who her saviors were. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw a silver tabby, who was no older than she was, with a dark ginger tom-kit.

The silver tabby crouched to meet her eye level and calmly mewed, "How are you? Are you hurting?"

"Y-yes." Mumbled Bright Stream, "but.. who are you?"

The tom dipped his head, "I should have introduced myself first. My name is Reed and this kit is Blazing Claw. We had to drag you and your friend from the river. You will be just fine, but I'm not so sure about him though, he took more of a beating than you did, whatever did hurt you."

"It was eagles." Bright Stream growled. She looked to the side and saw two she-cats, a dark brown tabby and a dark gray-furred, lifted the unconscious tom on their backs.

"Can you walk?" asked Reed.

Bright Stream nodded as she got to her paws. The two toms led Bright Stream to a place what looked like some kind of camp.

A gray and white she-cat sat with a young orange tabby as they looked at the returning cats. On the other side of the clearing, three small kits, looked the same age as Gray Wing's litter brother, Jagged Peak, The kits didn't seem to notice Reed and Bright Stream coming into camp.

"Oh!" Reed glanced toward Bright Stream. His ears started to flatten. "Did you realize you are expecting kits? I'll have to check if they're fine."

"How did you know?!" Bright Stream yelped.

"I've dealt with expecting queens before." Reed glanced to the dark tabby she-cat, "I was the one to help Tiger give birth to her kits some moons ago."

Tiger, the dark brown tabby, purred. "He may be young but he's an excellent healer." She and the dark gray she-cat began to lower Gray Wing to the ground. Her mew became more serious by her next words."You will have to stay here if you care for this tom." Tiger turned her attention to the other she-cat. "Slate, will you accompany Reed so he can get herbs for this poor tom."

Slate and Reed left, leaving Bright Stream with Tiger. The gray and white she-cat and the orange tabby sat with Bright Stream for company.

"My name is Cricket! Slate is my littermate." Purred the tom. My other littermate should be around here somewhere. Her name is Willow, she's a sweetheart, you'll love her!"

'He sure is energetic.' Bright Stream felt a purr coming out. She enjoyed the small talk with this young tom. She was lucky to run into such nice cats.

"I'm Minnow, nice to meet you." The she-cat glanced at Bright Stream's tribemate. Tiger was licking the tom's sleek and wet fur. Bright Stream could see little spots of blood trickling from his pelt. Minnow spoke again, "why don't you introduce yourself, we all did, now its your turn."

"I'm Bright Stream and that's Gray Wing. He's my mate's brother."

Alarm suddenly hit Bright Stream, "we came from a place far away and I really need to find my friends!"

"You'll find them, we'll help you." Cricket gently pressed his pelt against hers. "When you and your friend gets better, we'll help you find them"

She lifted her head toward the clouds and the blue sky.

'You will have to wait a little while more, my love.'
