Chapter I

"See if you can find anything useful on that computer and send it to me," Dex Keen told his apprentice, "if you're unsure then send it anyway."

"On it," came the reply.

The Jedi Master, a fourty-one year old Shilerrian male (about thirty for a human), opened himself to the force, feeling the room around him. They had infiltrated a Seperatist stronghold and entered what appeared to be a dimly lit war room. A large hologram table took up the centre of the room, and the large computer Eela was going through took up the back wall. There were rows of datapads on shelves opposite, with two doors on each of the remaining walls.

The force pointed Dex towards the top row of data pads. It didn't work so well on technology as it was channelled through living things, but he could still use it to get an idea. Bringing down the one on the top left, he switched it on and briefly searched through the contents. Nothing useful at all.

The next datapad was the same, as were the next few, but the fifth held a folder titled "Geonosis attack", which he copied to his own data stick. Pleased with the data coming in from his padawan, he continued his search.

After fifteen minutes, he had gathered a lot of information, and his padawan Eela called him over.

Eela Vasaway, also a Shilerrian, was now twenty. Her brown robes complimented her brown hair and hazel eyes, and she was very good with computers - to the point Dex expected she would soon take over as head of the temple's cyber security.

"Do you have any idea who Seron Rin is?" She asked, indicating to the report, "It looks like the Seperatists want to have him permanently working for them, by the looks of this."

"Seron Rin?" Dex paused, thinking about how to describe the character. "In short, he is a bounty hunter. Very dangerous. I can tell you more on the way back. Send me the document though."

"I already have. Another re-" voices and running outside the room cut her off.

"Time to go," said Dex.

"I want you to find him!" growled the Sith Lord, "If we can get him on our side, the Jedi will be finished."

In the darkness of the unknown regions, plans were being drawn, plots being made. In the ancient Sith Castle of Seribar, Darth Salek, the most powerful Sith Lord to have ever lived sat upon his throne in darkness, his apprentices kneeling before him. All five of them.

"He will not turn master," voiced the one on the right. "I know him better than most. If he did not turn on Mustafar, he never will."

"My dear Darth Kreya," chuckled the Sith, "He will turn. You will see. He just needs time. And you need to find him."
