Anju was walking through the victorian styled mansion, it certainly felt empty. Maybe that was why Hanabi was so quick to invite her a place to live; she could very well, just be lonely. Hopefully, Anju wouldn't have such a hard time adjusting to this human lifestyle. There was something about Hanabi though . . . she seemed different from the other humans. However, it wasn't Anju's place to judge. She hadn't met many humans, to begin with. Hanabi Murano, what an interesting name- Anju was just happy to have her own personal guide that could help her blend into the daily life of a human.
With the sun getting in position to set, Anju felt it was best to give Hanabi a visit.
It seemed Hanabi had the same idea though, as she had knocked on the wall she leaned against.
"Hey there! How are you feeling Anju?" Hanabi gave her a warm smile.
Anju slightly frowned, "I am grateful for your hospitality and it is wonderful here, however, I can't help but feel overwhelmed. I don't think I am ready for tomorrow . . ." Anju paused readjusting her gaze at the ground to look at Hanabi, "What all are we going to do?"
Hanabi chuckled, "WELL! Of course, you're nervous! Which is fine." She moved her hands behind her head as she relaxed. "You aren't a social butterfly, are you? I was hoping we could meet up with some friends of mine from College." Hanabi quickly noticed Anju's gaze shift back to the ground, and she began to stammer, "I-I mean if you're up for th-that kind of stuff! Don't feel pressured to go along with me just because I wish so!"
Anju nodded, "Right. Thank you, Hanabi . . . I might just accept your offer. So College? What is that?" She questioned the strawberry-blonde woman.
"AHAHA!" Hanabi began to boisterously laugh. "Anju! You're kidding right! It is the next step above High-School- surely you've been?"
Anju sighed, "Oh right. I must have forgotten."
"Well, don't worry! We all have occasional brain farts, It's getting late though Anju. I'm gonna head to bed let me know if you need anything! I put some fresh pairs of clothes in your new room!" Hanabi smiled before turning away.
Anju smiled, she was grateful for Hanabi's kindness. Shortly following Hanabi, Anju retreated to her room as well. It was easy to find since Hanabi took the freedom to decorate her door with bold letters stating, " Anju " she felt somehow safe with this human girl. Unfortunately, she knew that one day Anju might need protection with Anju living here. - Which meant she had to keep her identity a secret... to forget the Anju she used to be. Anju the Arrancar; Anju the Heartless; Espada Number Four: Anju.
She was Anju Amoré. Veigas had given her the last name . . . because he believed in her. He believed she could be more than a cold-hearted killing machine. It was because of him that she was here in this world now, he was the reason why she found Hanabi- or rather Hanabi found her. Still, the point stands that he was the reason why she was laying in this bed right now a domino effect.
It was at that moment though she felt an urge to explore the town at night. Anju had snuck out the house from her bedroom which was on the second floor, using the bedsheets Hanabi had laid out for her. Shortly after she heard the voice of two males arguing.
"Can it brat!" A low/deep pitched spoke with an orotund tone.
A more shaky voice that was slightly higher than the other voice snipped back, "Shut up you brute!"
Anju was curious as she quickly pushed herself up against the Murano Estate, and peeked around the corner to see two males standing in front of Hanabi's house.
"Zahro!" The shorter male whined. "You're so annoying!" He stomped his foot, "if you don't go and knock on her door-"
Before the shorter male could finish his sentence the taller male had punched him in his left shoulder.
"Kayn, what if she's asleep?" Zahro huffed, "Besides! We weren't even stopping by in the first place!"
Kayn giggled, "Yea, but you seemed to have naturally stopped. Do you have a crush on the rich city girl?" Kaine teased.
Anju smiled softly, it seemed like some harmless fun, the taller male had raven-black sleeked back hair with a few strands of white going back with the rest of his hair, except for a few wild strands that hung in the front black and white falling to the front on his ride side. With a sharp jaw and prominent cheekbones and light emerald green eyes to follow; he was definitely eye-candy. The shorter boy had white shaggy hair that seemed to fall in front of his face except for the right eye that seemed to have his hair sleeked back like the other male so he could see with ease out of one eye. The tips of the shorter boy's hair were frosted in a softer tone of black but darker emerald green eyes. With a softer face, his jawline wasn't as sharp and his cheeks weren't nearly as prominent.
"You're not fun, Zahro!" Kayn pouted, "I wonder if all older brothers are like you."
Anju smiled, she had a feeling they were related, their features were far too similar to not be related.
"Come on out." The low baritone voice belonging to Zahro boomed an order.
Anju jumped as she walked out towards the two males. Kayn ogled the obsidian-haired woman with a strand of lilac in her bang. Anju glared at the tall man as he must have towered at least six and a half inches taller than her. Making him six-feet and two inches tall. There was no way he knew she was there . . . unless he was a master with sensing spiritual pressure.
"You should know when you're spying on others it's best to not breathe so loudly." Zahro coldly stated.
Anju quickly had both of her hands cupping each other covering her mouth. "I ..." She peeped, as she thought to herself. 'There's no way! I know I was quiet.'
Zahro chuckled, "See ya around."
With that Zahro waved for his younger brother to follow. Which he did, he seemed to be maybe an inch shorter than Hanabi, making him five-feet and eight inches tall, and half an inch taller than Anju.
"Wait up, Zahro!" Kayn smirked, giving a wink to Anju. As he turned around and ran to catch up to his brother.
Shortly after a light in the front of the Murano Estate had flicked on, and Hanabi stepped out to see the two brothers walking off in the distance.
"Hanabi!" Anju squeaked.
Hanabi chuckled, "Making new friends?"
Anju nervously nodded her head no, "More so like... I couldn't umm . . . you know, sleep?" For once Anju seemed to speak her mind to Hanabi and let her know her true thoughts, "You see, I wasn't raised in a normal place. This is all new to me if I'm being honest, we had a sort of school system, yes. It was more so for fighting, I guess you could say I was prepared to fight-"
Anju was cut off mid-sentence by Hanabi. "Oh, you must be from those small villages that still practice martial arts and other fighting forms for competition. Hey, I get it, not everyone has the same upbringing. Hell . . . I was a spoiled city girl who asked her mommy and daddy to buy her a house out in the town so she could go to a college away from home and away from the city. You don't have to worry about me judging you Anju and if you need help fitting in... well hey! I'm here to help you! We're friends now."
Anju nodded. "Thank you. That does make me feel a little better."
Hanabi reached her hand out for Anju, "Now why don't we head to bed."
With that, the two had gone back inside and headed to bed. Anju was slightly happy that Hanabi was very open to her and willing to help her with adjusting to her new life.
