"Damned idiots." Cordelia mumbled to herself, "They think that poorly of me?" She clenched both of her hands, "That stupid Tatsu- excuse me. Tatsuki is an ass. Everyone is just accepting that stupid woman even if we know nothing about her." She scoffed, "Typical Cordelia, huh?"
Just then a man covered in a black cloak keeping their identity hidden materialized or so it seemed out of nowhere. Before punching her in the face, sending her flying into one of the few trees scattered between the town that wasn't apart of the forest. He then walked over and picked up the unconscious red-head and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
Meanwhile, Tatsu kept a safe distance from Anju, as they delved deeper into the forest of Tatesunobi. Anju could feel Hanabi's reiatsu exerting itself, she was beginning to wake up and panic.
"Just hold on, Hanabi," Anju whispered to herself.
She was getting a faint trail of someone behind her but she was too worried about Hana to stop now. Anju was nervous to take off her necklace and ring though, because, she was being followed. However, she wouldn't be able to catch up to the culprit if she didn't whoever it was, they knew some form of Hohō or equivalent to that. If she didn't act fast and make a decision soon her target would be out of her range and she'd lose their trace. It was now or never!
"Please, whoever is following me . . . please think it is some sort of dream." Anju mumbled to herself.
As she removed her accessories her Arrancar Uniform reappeared along with her hollow-hole. This time her spiritual pressure was so immense and pouring out from her adrenaline that the trees around her either fell atop each other or the roots were starting to show as they got uprooted. Using her Sonido she quickly caught up, there wasn't anyone in Hueco Mundo that could match her speed.
"HEY!" Anju yelled, at a figure in a black cloak.
She propelled herself off one of the huge oak trees around her, and dove straight ahead for her target, holding one of her Kama Blades backward where the curve of the back of the curved edge and groove of the Kama was along her forearm and the actual blade was faced out ready to slice her foe. The target, however, threw Hanabi, where another person in a black-hooded cloak caught her and disappeared as well. Judging based on their technique, they weren't Soul-Reapers she knew very well the technique. It was her own.
She gasped as she came into impact with the original target. They were Arrancars! As she backflipped back up using her middle, index, and thumb fingers on her left hand she sheathed one of her Kama back on her hip. Did they find her? Her body felt cold, was this fear? Someone with as much power as her rarely- no never felt fear, but maybe when you get attached and you don't possess the power to protect them, it's different. Or rather Hanabi didn't possess the power to defend herself properly till she could check on her this morning.
"Ahh, Anju!" The Arrancar smiled nervously,
This Arrancar looked afraid, he had bright-yellow hair like an egg yolk. With huge bulging muscles he was nearly seven feet tall and four inches. His Zanpakutō shifted into the form of a huge battle-club that had to be half the size of himself. It had several spikes and ridges. With dark skin like chocolate.
"It's so nice to see you." He smirked, "We miss you at Hueco Mundo."
Anju quickly dismissed him as she leaped to one of the trees before being knocked back by a nearly invisible wall.
"Heh. I guess because I'm a lowly Números you never cared to learn my ability, huh?" The Arrancar smirked, "I'm Números One-Hundred and Seven." (107)
"Why is that important, 107?" Anju questioned him.
Números 107 just cackled, "Well you see, my Atrapado Kemono. He loves a good fight, and whoever I see and make physical contact with if by my will I wish to fight I can keep them in my battle arena." He slammed his club into the ground which sent chunks and shards of rocks at Anju, "Remember when I begged to be your Fracción. You told me I wasn't worthy enough, tell me why Anju!"
He charged at her with his club getting ready to smash her. When she pulled one of her Kama's from her sheath on her right hip she then went to block his attack. Which sent her skidding across the dirt.
"Damn oaf has some power to his Zanpakutō." Anju mumbled, "I should be able to handle him with just a single blade though."
Her Kama in her right handle had a chain coming out of the end and connecting to her left Kama which was sheathed. Anju gripped the chain and pink visible Reiatsu could be seen on her hand as the chain seemed to be extending as she spun her unsheathed Kama blade. Her Zanpakutō was creating a whirring sound as she spun it fast enough that a visible gust around the blade was beginning to storm. As Números 107 slammed his club down the spinning of her Kama had slowed slightly but still kept spinning; it was a strong defensive technique.
"Little Anju, I'm going to smash you!" Números 107's voice boomed as he declared her death. "I'LL KILL YOU! THEN I'LL TAKE THE RANK OF ESPADA NUMBER FOUR!"
Anju smirked, she was beginning to put it together, the Números were promised her spot if they could prove that they could kill her in battle.
"I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!" Anju yelled back just as loud.
She whipped the chain in a motion that wrapped around Números 107's Zanpakutō, before holding her Kama by its handle. She smiled deviously as he struggled against her strength and the restraint of her chain on his club.
"I was Espada for a reason!" She stated boldly. "You're nowhere near my power, weakling." Her eyes had this bloodthirst to them, almost as if the longer she fought and the more intense or excited she got the more she lost herself in a fight. "So are you going to give up, or shall I show you just how fast I can kill you!"
Números 107 screamed as he used all his strength to yank his club from her chains' grip. Before stumbling back and preparing a cero, as he gathered energy in this big bright red ball.
Anju made a sound of disapproval and started tutting, "Tsk tsk. What a fool."
She quickly Sonido'd in front of the buffoon and flicked his forehead and sent him flying, into his own Zanpakutō's invisible walls of Reiatsu. Which then caused him to bounce off of them and land a few meters away from Anju.
"ANJU WATCH OUT!" Tatsu's voice could be heard.
Tatsu had once again jumped into action, this time though his right foot has this energy around it that shined a bright emerald green color. He slammed his right foot into the person behind Anju about to strike her nape.
Anju looked behind and saw a Tatsu landing from doing a summersault mid-air and Reiatsu just resonating off of his legs before fading. The person her friend had knocked on their ass was- THE SOUL REAPER SHE SENT TO HUECO MUNDO! Anju looked surprised at Tatsu, the short man seemed to possess his own kind of power, but his Reiryoku was nothing like a Soul Reaper or Arrancar, nothing she was familiar with.
"Anju!" Tatsu yelled, again. "That big guy is coming!"
Números 107 came charging at her, or so she thought, he ran past her and aimed for Tatsu. Thankfully she reacted fast enough to slam him into the ground with just her sheer power, her left hand held his skull as she slammed him repeatedly into the ground. Tatsu winced as he watched the woman he met last night slam a man who was triple her size in the muscle department and almost twice her height. Just then the Soul Reaper got up and started to run.
"No, you don't." Tatsu huffed, as he jumped back from Anju's fight to chase the Soul Reaper.
The Soul Reaper began to cry, "WAIT! I just was trying to get revenge on that monstrous woman! I was just patrolling the area for my captain! I'm only the eleventh seat of Squad 10!"
Tatsu tried to focus but he couldn't quite tap into the power he had just used, however, it seemed his target was afraid of him even without his power.
"STOP! NO MORE! I'll tell you my name!" He fell to his knees as the impact from Tatsu had dislocated the Soul Reaper's right arm and broken his left leg. The Soul Reaper began to sob away at his story as Tatsu readied himself to deliver another blow at him. "My name is Nebo! I came here to relay information from my scouting to my Captain, every month I patrol the forest, about a week about we had a reading about an immense spiritual pressure in Tatesunobi Forest, and my Captain was stationed here already on a mission, so he naturally took up finding that source of power as well . . . I was just supposed to patrol and report to him after each patrol." He started to stutter, "S-she sent me to a hellish place! I almost was eaten alive, if that beast of a demon didn't find me, I - I would be - I'd be in the guts of some HOLLOW!" His voice started to quiver, "So you see she's a monster, I was just getting revenge."
Tatsu looked down at the man now known as Nebo. "I don't know what to say to you other than you better run before that so-called "monstrous," woman kills you. You took someone dear to us, and I don't blame her for getting rid of you if you're that kind of person."
While Tatsu was warning Nebo, concurrently on just a quarter of a mile away, two Arrancars were still fighting.
"BACK DOWN CRIMSON QUEEN! I SHALL TAKE YOUR PLACE!" Números 107 declared yet again, this time using one of her aliases.
Anju smirked, her eyes had this dead expression to them, "I'm getting tired of hearing that, show me then!"
As she screamed she came spinning down from the sky, using her chain like whiplash to strike him from above. Her chains once again wrapped around his massive club, but this time he used it to his advantage to swing her around, slamming her into trees.
She only laughed as the trees broke around them and starting to fall around them and create this sort of dome shape. she let go of the Kama's handle and grabbed the chain and unsheathed her other one as she used the chain to swing towards the Arrancar.
"NOW DIE!" She screamed as she used her second Kama to slice the Números Arrancar. "You're done for." As she kicked him into the sky.
The sheer impact of her hit made him reach a peak of thirty meters, where she held a kama in her hand and a chain in the other before whipping it at Números 107, which wrapped around his body and his mask, which was similar to a bull with two horns, but only of the horns were broken in half. She held in the air by her chain and wiggled him around as he had done to her. She was essentially toying with the man, as she slowly was tightening her chain as she had done to Ebirukoyōte.
"Perish." She whispered.
The chains tightened till his mask broke completely and his body popped and faded into black particles. Tatsu and Nebo could see the scene playing in the distance, just as Tatsu finished telling Nebo he should run. Nebo scrambled to stand as he started to use Shunpo to run away. Anju quickly caught up and it seemed like her bloodthirst hadn't been quenched quite yet.
"Where are you going?" Anju asked, her once soft voice sounded sultry. "You are the reason why they're here. The reason why my friend is out there right now afraid." She held her Kama's sharp edge pointed at him. "Now you must suffer the consequences."
Unlike before this time, it seemed like her chain had a mind of its' own as it moved like a serpent striking their prey. Soon Nebo was wrapped in chains, only his eyes were visible as the chains covered everything else.
"I'll see you in hell." Anju chuckled.
This time her chains tightened but it was breaking Nebo's bones rather than popping him. This time she opened a Garganta to Menos' Forest, and the chains whipped outwards, untangling, and throwing in Nebo. As the Garganta closed you could hear his cries for help as the Hollows were already closing in to devour their food.
Tatsu had tapped her shoulder; which caused the woman to quickly hold her Kama to his neck. She blinked a bit as she was stunned that she just held her weapon against her friend.
She quickly sheathed her Kamas and bowed her head. "I'm so sorry! I was just caught up in fighting and I . . . just- sorry."
Tatsu softly laughed, "Don't worry, although, I'd like an explanation on what just happened with me and those guys and you."
Anju nodded and readied herself to explain her actions.
"My my my, you thought I was finished?" The brute Números 107 had reformed back in front of Tatsu and Anju. "Surprised?" Números 107, chuckled menacingly. "Keheheh. Come at me and find out, traitor."
With that Anju took her fighting stance blocking Tatsu from the Arrancar which stood in front of them. She was prepared to finish this once and for all, and defend her other friends from these monsters. This was war and she was going to save Hanabi.
