Behind the glass tube, with he hand pressed up against it, Silver eyes stared wide and in shock. Ozpin kept his eyes away from her, and the woman in the red dress barely glanced in her direction as she was allowed to take the life in front of her.
Amber lights swirled and shot towards the woman. Ozpin finally looked at her, and she could see the mild regret in his eyes.
"This is for the best. Ms. Rose... I'm sorry."
He was lying
In his own twisted mind, Tyrian had always been the perfect servant, always at the beck and call of his 'goddess'.
Salem knew better.
One leg on top of the other, cheek resting against her palm, Salem worried. The headbands still stuck to her thoughts, exploding her imagination with gruesome imagery, and bringing memories to the forefront.
"Fear not, my queen, I'll make this quick!"
Salem shut her eyes as the scars running down her sides ached. The phantom pains never stopped. Always they hurt and stung just as much as the day they were inflicted, and every time, Tyrian stood over her with blood on his hands. Her eyes shut a little tighter as that memory took over.
He stood over her with that damned grin. The energy the headband emitted overshadowed that of the Gods, making the power Salem knew well, seem armature in comparison.
Blood pooled around her, and for the first time in years, she felt true fear.
The walls shook, and the headband began to glow. The blur that came next saved her: Blades clashed as the samurai appeared from thin air. Tyrian laughed through his struggle, jumping, spinning and flying around the impromptu battlefield. The samurai, however, said nothing, kept his eyes closed, and measured his movements to a fine point.
She watched in shock and awe as they battled, gasping when the Samurai left himself wide open.
Cloth fell, and Tyrian landed a few feet away, clutching the No. 1 in his hand. Salem expected to see an afro haired head roll, but he simply sheathed his blade."You're a fool, to let me have this!" The scorpion laughed. "Now, I shall become the God of this world!"
Salem watched in terror as the traitor placed the No. 1 upon his forehead, and felt complete dread as his aura flared immensely. She could feel the surge of sudden, godlike, power burst from him. His demented laughter bounced around them. The smell of marijuana reached her nose, and she gazed at the samurai, who held the No. 2 in his hands, and a joint hanging from his lips.
"There is always a price to pay, when absolute power has not been granted, but taken." He bowed his head, and Salem looked back at Tyrian.
He continued to laugh, and he didn't stop...
Red eyes glanced over to scorpion Faunus. He was keeping himself entertained with the Grimm, not paying attention to her. He was too dangerous with just the No. 2 alone, and now Adam Taurus of all people had it.
She prayed that the plan worked...
Am back again. I think next chapter will be in Beacon, but don't hold your breath.
