Back at the Ranch
Lampy sat in front of Tikal. The TV was playing a news report.
"The mysterious Hector the Collector is responsible for a string of Kirby vacuum vandalism," the reporter, a young man in a blue suit, said. "Sources say that the vandal used a drill to extract the motors."
Lampy looked at Kirby. Kirby had just passed by.
"Hey, Kirby, you might want to see this."
The old vacuum wheeled in.
"However, Hector only targets G5s and other later models," the reporter continued.
Kirby paused. "I'm no G5, so this doesn't apply to me." He wheeled out.
"All targeted vacuums have been sent for repairs," the reporter said. "Police are looking for clues as to the identity of Hector the Collector. If you have any tips, please contact Light City Police Department."
Lampy scratched his head with his plug. "I have an idea."
Plugsy unfroze. "If Radio has told me anything about your ideas, they aren't the best. Well, most of the time."
Lampy got to his "feet". "This one will work! We'll catch an appliance vandal."
Plugsy shook his head. "I'm not too sure about this."
