Still Hear their Screams
Sabrina looked out the door to see Debbie, Levi and Oracle leave. Levi held Marshall's motor in his cord. The three villains slipped through the door and left the complex.
Lampy got a good look at the three. "So, these are our villains?"
Sabrina nodded.
"I hate to reopen old wounds, but what do you remember about your meeting with them?" Rayna asked.
Sabrina looked around. "I... I was about to return to my closet and I hear the door open. That drill slipped in first, then her lamp and vacuum companions. The vacuum spotted me and pointed me out. They all ganged up on me, knocking me on my back. That's when they..."
Rayna nodded. "They took out your motor?"
Sabrina nodded, nearly in tears. "I remember the others. There were three other murders here, before mine. I still can hear their screams at night."
"If they can't find a Kirby, they'll gladly mutilate another appliance," Ava said. She eyed Blanky. "Electric blankets are easy targets, so might want to hide him."
Blanky shrunk into a corner.
Back at the cabin, Levi slipped Marshall's motor into a drawer on Oracle's desk. He smiled. This was his trophy. Debbie had let him keep it. He lifted Oracle onto the desk.
"Today was fun, wasn't it?" Oracle laughed.
"It was," Levi said. He paused. "Didn't I see an Avalir II lurking around the complex? I think I might pay that one a visit."
