Dearest Utonium,

It has been many days and nights since I wrote to you last, forgive me. My absence is for good reason I assure you; I've been thinking. You see, there are two general ideologies for our [human] coming to being, evolution and creation. The former being the most recent to grace human thought. It is strange that we, as scientists and others like us, accept the Darwinian principle as natural law, and have since forth denied any form of creation. (Don't stop reading! I assure you I have a point!) The people of antiquity in their great grandeur of intellect who set the foundation of our math and sciences, who declared concepts not properly deduced until modern man could prove them. Had none of these peoples, these cultures, reached a conciseness of an idea that we developed from animals? Yet they had animal gods, spirits, sacrifices. Even the old Egyptian conducted confined zoological studies. Yet from what we can gather not one had a concept of evolution as we know it today. Do you know why? It is because they believed man is the greatest of creation and that man must be of the most amazing and complex, and animals other than man are lesser. But this is false. In fact some wise peoples understood that we know nothing of our true origin, that is of an inconceivable state and volition, a pool of creation itself; we are but vessels in which this energetic force manifests as energy which cannot be destroyed nor created, only channeled into one form or another—The most fundamental laws of thermodynamics. You know my passion for this subject well. I have always wanted to call forth such a force, to create life without natural means to see if it can be done, channeling and perceiving this unknown that could be called the God of Gods. You through science have achieved a small work of creation, opening a window to that world of energy and from it manifested your children, graced with abilities beyond us. I hope to improve upon your example. Chemical X is a key to that gate. I shall attempt to step inside the locked threshold and break the cycle of life and form... I can see your disbelief right now. Please, do not burn my letter; it took time to write.

Yours,

Dr. –
