Chapter 1

It was hard to believe that they had been married for five years now. But they had never had a honeymoon because right after the coin toss at McMurphy's they had gotten married in a hurry then moved to London with Mattie. Between her therapy and Harm's new job they were kept very busy. As Mattie improved Mac looked for a job for herself.

As time went by Mattie fell in love and married her phyical therapist Rob Kolt. Eleven months later Mattie gave birth to a sweet baby girl they named Tracy.

Bud and Harriett had been telling Mac and Harm about a lovely Bed and Breakfast they had stayed at in Middleton, IL and highly recommending that the Rabb's give it a try for over a year.

So finally for their fifth anniversary Mac and Harm made a plan to try and get the JAG family back together to help them celebrate. Invatations had been sent out and everyone had RSVPed. They would all be spending a week at Grayhouse.

Harm and Mac planned to arrive a day earlier than everyone else to make sure everything was ready for the reunion week they had arrange. When they did they found the surprise that Bud and Harriett had wanted them to see ever since the trip they had made to Grayhouse the year before. Harm and Mac gathered up their luggage and entered the B and B.

They entered the front hall and put their bags down waiting for someone to check them in. That was when Cassie Nightengale came out of the kitchen to greet her newest guests.

Cassie and Mac stood face to face in stunned silence while Harm's gaze ping ponged back and forth between the two of them trying to make sense of what he was seeing. Harm's mind flashed back to the day fourteen years before when he saw Major Sarah Mackenzie for the first time. He had been shocked to see the spitting image of Lieutenant Diane Schonke who had been murdered the year before. And now here was another exact copy of Mac Rabb standing right in front of him.

He wasn't sure why this kept happening to him but he planned to get to the bottom of this! Harm was the first to speak, "What in the world is going on here?!" he demanded.

"We must have a relative in common," Mac suggested.

"I'm pretty sure that isn't possible. I know all the Merriwick women and my cousin and I are the last of the line," Cassie explained.

"Then how can the two of you look so much alike?" Harm questioned.

"They say that everyone has a twin somewhere in the world," Cassie offered.

"Then how would you explain triplets? Harm knew another woman that looked like me…us before he and I met. I was no relation to her either," Mac told Cassie.

"How unusal," Cassie commented. "But we can talk more about that later. Why don't we get you two up to your room now?"

"That sounds great," Harm agreed.

That evening the three of them went over plans for the week ahead as well as checking back over both Mac and Cassie's family trees to see if there was any relations they had in common. They found that Cassie was right there was no blood connection between them.

Bud and Harriett arrived first the next morning and wanted to find out how Harm and Mac felt about the discovery they had made last year when they had visited Grayhouse. Mac and Harm thanked them profussely for the recommendation and told them they had discovered that there was no relationship between Mac and Cassie.

A few hours later they went through the same conversation with Mattie and Rob along with six month old baby Tracy.

Bud and Harriett had gone into town to have lunch at the cute little bistro they had visited the last time they were there. Mattie and Rob had gone upstairs to put Tracy down for a nap after lunch. Harm and Mac had also gone upstairs after the meal. Cassie and her father were in the kitchen cleaning up when AJ Chegwidden pulled up in his rented car.
