Hello everyone, I know it has been a while, but I'm in my final stretch of college and have been trying to get that done so I can be free for the summer! Yay! Two months of bliss and no worry for school!
But anyway, this story is inspired by The Holy Grail of Eris, a manga which I really love as it's mysterious, drama-filled, and very funny. Scarlet Castiel for some reason reminds me of Frankenstein because her attitude reminds me of him, and I thought, why not write a story based off of it? This chapter is mostly based off of chapter nine (the latest chapter which came out), but I would recommend you read the full story so that you can understand what is going on.
Please follow, fave, and review when you are done reading.
I do not own Noblesse, it belongs to Son Jeho and Lee Kwansgu.

The party was in full swing at the Agvain Manor. The ballroom was filled to the brim with Lords, Ladies, Nobles, Dukes; anyone who had an ounce of royalty and wealth to their name, was inside this very room. It was well known that if you received an invitation to one of the Agvain's parties, you were considered to be of importance to Lord Agavin. While the parties were exquisite and something which should only exist in fairytales, everyone knew that it was a place to gossip and spill bad blood amongst each other.
In the middle of it all, Lord Urokai Agavin was mingling amongst the guests. As he was doing so, he made small notes in his mind about the people he had met. 'Lagus hasn't changed much since I last saw him,' Urokai thought as he watched the old man talk to Zarga rather excitingly. 'Still talks about his science theories and medicinal discoveries to anyone who is willing to lend an ear. Zarga, on the other hand, has changed quite a lot since the trial he was put on for the murders of the previous Lord of the Loyard Family and his son.'
He watched the brown haired noble nod his head to something Lagus said and made a short "I see" comment before sipping his drink. 'How long has it been since the murders happened? Five years, six years? Time sure does fly.' A smile came to his face as the red-haired lord turned his attention elsewhere.
'Rajak Kertia, I've heard, has a list of women set up for the possibility of being his bride. Seira seems to be doing alright with her position as Lady Loyard; but there's a rumor going around that she's meeting the stable boy who works at her manor. Lady Eleanor still does not have a betrothed,' Urokai rolled his eyes when he saw the serious looking woman standing off to the side, ignoring any man who tried talking to her. 'She's almost reaching the age where no one will want to marry her if she keeps this act up.'
"Lord Agavin," A soft voice made him turn to see a blonde haired young woman looking at him rather bashfully. Shifting around on her feet before giving him a curtsey. "It's an honor for you to have invited me on this pleasant evening."
'Edian Drosia. In the past six years she has had three failed engagements, and is currently not betrothed to anyone even though she has just turned twenty two a month ago.' He politely smiled back automatically. "The honor is mine, Lady Drosia. After all, you spared time to come to my humble party after all. I should be the one thanking you for doing so."
Edian blushed beet red, and stumbled on her words. "N-no...your party is excellent and is by far the most wonderful party that I have attended in all my years!" She quickly exclaimed, before suddenly getting shy and quiet.
'Typical, she has always been like this since she was a child. Offering compliments but apologizes when the person in return tries to be kind.' Urokai scoffed inwardly, but retained his smile even though he wanted to discipline the woman.
Luckily, he didn't have to listen to her apologizing for that long, as Lord Kravei walked over to the two. "Urokai, wonderful party that you have thrown here. How have you been doing?" The black-haired Lord asked in a casual tone.
"I've been doing quite alright, Roctis." Urokai answered, a little bit irked that he didn't have an excuse to leave and go refill his drink now that Roctis showed up. Edian had left, knowing that she no longer needed to stand around and had instead gone towards the dessert bar. "How are you? I heard about what had happened to your daughter."
Roctis immediately deflated at that question. Letting out a sigh, he opened his mouth to speak. "I feel tired. Right after she was humiliated, Ignes ran off with the man whom she was having an affair with. I'm disappointed that my daughter would stoop so low as to go and mess around with someone who wasn't her betrothed, and then try to blame Raizel, her fiancé no less, for stealing another noble lady's hair clip."
"But more importantly, I feel bad for Raizel. He didn't ask for any of this to happen to him, which was why I was surprised when he stood up to Ignes and her treacherous ways when he had looked so scared just a few minutes ago. It was almost like he was a completely different person! He acted just like-"
"I know," Urokai abruptly cut him off. "I've been hearing for the past couple of days that he acted just like Frankenstein."
'Frankenstein,' Urokai thought bitterly. 'Even though it's been ten years since he was executed, my hatred for him has never dwindled. I always knew something was off about him, but who knew I was right when he poisoned Ragar, and was imprisoned for committing such an act.'
'I had heard that at his execution, he cast a curse on anyone who attended. Less than a few years later, our king took his own life. People began to suspect that the curse drove the king to kill himself.' Urokai chuckled when he remembered the ladies gossiping about that rumor near him. How foolish could people be to make assumptions like that?
"Oh, looks like Raizel has just arrived." Roctis said, surprised. Urokai turned to see the young man with jet black, short, wavy hair talking to Lord Karius with a smile on his face. From what Urokai remembered when he looked into the family, he was the youngest son and was rarely allowed to leave the house when he was a child. He had an older brother who disappeared to who knows where almost nine years ago, his mother had a weak constitution and his father was a general in the Royal Army.
Urokai watched as Raizel got closer and closer to him as he talked to different people along the way. At one time, Roctis walked over to Raizel and the two chatted for a little bit before Roctis departed somewhere else.
By the time Raizel walked over to Urokai, the lord knew that the rumors were false. There was no way that this man could have the personality of the madman from ten years ago. He was too sweet, kind, spoke softly, and never showed a cruel or wicked side to anyone when he spoke to them.
'Good grief, he's just like Edian. Those two would be a match made in heaven because they have such similar personalities,' Urokai thought with disdain. 'There's not even an ounce of Frankenstein's wicked personality in him, not even in the-'
Suddenly, Raizel started to bow, and that caught Urokai's attention. Not the boy, but the way he was bowing. 'Right foot halfway in front of the left, left hand middle finger slightly overlapping the pointer, a perfectly straight back,' He thought in disbelief. 'And that expression on his face while he keeps his head up, only Frankenstein did that!'
Urokai's heart began to beat rather quickly while his skin grew cold. 'While Frankenstein was like a wolf, the way he carried himself was with a type of grace and dignity that I never saw anyone else have. What's more, whenever he would greet me, he would always say those words with a sugary sweet voice that I knew was his way of insulting me for my humiliation in that duel!'
'However, Raizel is not him,' Urokai tried to assure himself as Raizel stopped bowing. 'Yet he's making me remember-'
"Today as well. You've chosen an excellent suit for tonight's party," He said with a smile on his face. Only, Urokai no longer saw Raizel, but Frankenstein himself in the young noble's place. "Even the eyepatch compliments your outfit and hair as wonderful as it always does."
With those words, Urokai felt an immense wave of fear wash over. Quickly excusing himself, he turned and speed walked away from the confused man. 'It can't be, there's no way, it's impossible!' Urokai stopped once he was on the other side of the ballroom and tried calming himself down. 'Yet for some reason, when he said those words, Cadis Etrama Di Raizel was just like him...'
Raizel was confused, he didn't know what he did to scare Lord Agavin off like that. He had said the same thing to the others, though used different words for everyone else and no one batted an eye. When he looked to see if he had said something wrong, he saw the ghost standing right next to him looking like the cat who ate the canary. Immediately, he knew that Frankenstein had used him to most likely insult Lord Agavin. He wanted to ask why Frankenstein taught him to say those things, but couldn't as it would look weird to the guests if he talked to nothing but air.
Noticing he was being looked at, Frankenstein turned to look at him, still looking smug. The grin soon turned into a confused look when he saw Raizel's disapproving stare. "What? Oh come on, with his action he basically told us all we needed to know. That he still hates me yet will spill the tea about my bad deeds to anyone who is willing to listen."
"But...was that really alright to say?" Raizel asked in a hushed voice, looking around to see if anyone had heard him.
Frankenstein snorted, floating around the eighteen year old. "Trust me, he needed his ego knocked down a few pegs anyway. How dare he act all hoity toity just because I'm gone." The blond man huffed. Pretty soon, he chuckled and a devious grin spread across his face. "I can't wait to enact my revenge now on that blasted Agavin."
Raizel couldn't help but shudder, wondering why he agreed to work with him. Until he remembered that he was paying off the debt he owed Frankenstein for helping him out of the sticky situation with Ignes via possessing him and putting the woman in her place.
"Oh, there's Lady Drosia. Go and talk to her, as she is right next to that Agavin man. Let's go and talk to the two of them before we miss this good opportunity." Frankenstein pointed to the two nobles standing next to the drink table. Before he could agree, the ghost floated towards the two and Raizel could do nothing but sigh and follow him.
…...I could have done the ending a little bit better...but I'm just going to leave it at that. Cause if I try to change it, I'm pretty sure I'll lose interest in writing it, and I don't want that to happen.
I hopefully will begin updating some more this summer, but I may be absent for the first few weeks of June as I have an appointment for a surgery date and I hope I can get it in June. If I do get surgery in June, I may be off Fanfiction for two weeks to recover, but after that, I may write again.
Don't know why I wrote that but whatever. Please follow, fave, and review when you are done reading. I'm a little bit sad that almost 75% of the people who look at my story don't even review but follow and favorite them. I want to know what you guys think about my stories through your lovely reviews! So please, don't be shy!
