A Super Smash Brothers Story

Hey guys, Welcome back to another story of mine, This story will not be playing up the overarching plot regarding Galeem and Dharkon being inside both Shulk and Lucina's bodies but rather focusing on other characters in the series,
This one shot will be dealing with how some of the other smashers took the whole World of Light incident. (But again, ONLY Lucina and Shulk have a part of Dharkon and Galeem in them so they will be suffering their problems much more compared to the others.)
This story will also contain another Deluxe fighter for this series… He is someone Pokémon Sun and Moon Fans know too well…. (Hint: He's the bad boss who beats you down.)

With that out of the way, enjoy this one shot staring Isabelle and Incineroar. ;)

"Man, I never thought Smash Matches would this intense.' Isabelle thought to herself as she walked down the hallways of the Smash mansion after her match with King Dedede, The Luminary and Bowser Junior. 'It's nice to hear that the DPS of the Mansion prevents major injuries and deaths from occurring during matches. But facing both Dedede and Junior was pretty intense.'
'No wonder why Alex said that you better be prepared for anything during the matches.' She continued her train of thought regarding her mayor's words when she got her invite to the tournaments. 'Even people like Mr. Peeper and Scott can be tough to face when you least expect it.'
'Though it's still better then fighting them again..' The female dog thought to herself as she quickly banished the memories of Galeem and Dharkon from surfacing. 'I guess Alex also felt the same way when he fought the Master Core, Sherk and Goku during the previous tournament….'
Like many of the others smasher whom wasn't involved with the Subspace emissary, Isabelle has not shook off the scars of the purge of Light caused by the Mistress of Light.
It's was the most fearful experience she has to face, Unable to react properly to the beams that Galeem fired out and then being captured by her, Used as a copy machine for her army of Puppet Fighters, And forced to witness thousands and thousands of the victims she vaporized forced into her army of puppets, including her twin brother Digby.
Even after Incineroar and several of the other smashers rescued her from her control, the horrors caused by Galeem didn't end there.
Dharkon soon rose to power and took most of the smashers and puppet fighters that Kirby and Bandana Dee failed to save from his rival's control.
Alex and his twin sister Flora were among the group that the duo failed to liberate from Galeem's control and he was soon forced under Dharkon's control as well.
It was hard for poor Isabelle to face her mayor and his sister even if their actions were not their own will. It was fortunate for her and the other smashers that those under Dharkon control can be liberate from by his control by destroying the part of him on them just like how the Chaos Kin held Plautena under his control.
Well almost everyone under his control that is….
'I just hope that they would never come back again…' she then walked down the hallways of the mansion, her face still showing fear from the World of Light incident. 'I really don't want to go through something like that once more…'
She soon stopped by the training room which she soon noticed a large red humanoid tiger creature with black stripes and a fire belt currently training himself at the moment.
'Is that Incineroar?' Thought the Shih Tzu secretary as then noticed the Pokémon currently training inside the room as he was currently fighting several training simulations of Himself, in different colours and sizes.
Despite knowing that her friend was busy training himself, Isabelle decided to watch from a distance as she looked at the Heel Pokémon is currently doing.
As one of Incineroar's copies tried to punch him with a burning fist of flames, He countered back with a flaming fist of his own as the copy was launched a good distance away from him, which soon faded into data particles shortly afterwards.
He then saw two more copies coming doing the same thing as the first copy, Ready to avenge their fallen partner by doing the same thing as well.
'Heh, Too slow.' Thought the Tiger Pokémon as he took a stance as his claws were soon covered in flames.
He then swung himself like a fiery tornado and sent the copies of himself flying as they soon dissipated into particles like the first copy.
Once he stopped spinning around, Incineroar then looked at the dissipating copies as he then smirked to himself.
"Not bad for myself today," he said to himself as he then noticed Isabelle standing near the entrance with a nervous look. "Could uses a bit more speed but
"Oh hey Isabelle, What's up?" He questioned his fellow newcomer as she looked back at him with a nervous look.
"Oh hello Incineroar, I thought I might check on how are you doing." Said the young secretary as she soon approached him with small nervous steps. "Sorry if I did it in a fangirlish type of way."
"Relax Isabelle, I know we're pretty new to the mansion even after the World of Light and the triple team tourney, but just relax will ya?" Said the Heel Pokémon as he let out a chuckle. "Besides, you got something on your mind right now?"
"Well in a way, I do." She answered back as she looked back at him with a worried look on her face. "Are you free later this evening?"
"Relax Isa, I'm free right now," Said the fire tiger in a confident tone as he looked back at her, "Just wanting doing some sparing with the training dummies, That's all."
"Ok then, So why not we go to the cafeteria of the mansion now?" the Shih Tzu answered back. "I know you're exhausted lately so it could be a good way to relax after a hard day of training."
"Sure why not?" Incineroar answered back as his smirk still remained on his face. "A good sitrus berry protein shake always keeps me going after a work out."

After arriving in the cafeteria and ordering some drinks for themselves, Incineroar ordered himself his protein shake while Isabelle decided to buy her usual Mocha.
They soon sat down on one of the tables as they take their drinks with Isabelle going for small sips of her mocha, Incineroar decided to take a big gulp of his shake.
As soon as he finished his gulp of protein shake, the fire tiger Pokémon then looked back at his fellow smasher after she took her sip of her coffee.
"So Isabelle, What's currently bothering you right now?" He asked back to her with a look of concern. "Still bothered by the world of light incident?"
Isabelle's face then turned grim at what she has just heard as she gave a nod back to him.
"It is…." She answered back to him with a worried tone, "I know you and the some others newcomers like Simon and Joker faced stuff like this before, but I wasn't expecting this to occur before the tournament event started."
Incineroar's face was then shown to be deep in thought, A contrast from his usal punch first, ask questions later type of approach when his fighting.
"I know that feeling too, Isabelle," He answered back in a sympathetic tone as memories of a giant golden dragon Pokémon tries to resurface in his mind, "At least when me and Guzma saw Nercorzma working for Galeem…."
He then glanced over to another table where he and his trainer's former enemy was sitting at along with his Golisopod, Aridos and Pinsir.
The Three Pokémon were currently eating the Pokémon food he brought for them as he sat down on his own seat, drinking some Tapu Cocoa as he just kept to himself while observing his Pokémon every now and then.
Guzma and his Pokémon for lack of a better word are an unexpected group of faces to the tourneys let alone as one of Crazy Hand's deluxe fighters.
The original idea behind the group he invited for the crazier of the two hand brothers was just to invite only Agumon to the tournaments just to spice things up even more.
But after the events both regarding the Sherk and Goku incident along with as his brother put it, "His decisive origins will be just the excuse that the more bizarre part of the community need to restarted the whole Ballot incident all over again by demanding Batman, Darth Vader, Spongebob and all those other guys to be in Smash as well." He knew that his brother would disapprove of the idea and shut it off right away.
Despite this, Crazy tried to 'camouflage' his presence by inviting seven other fighters along with the orange Digimon hoping that his brother will not get mad from the news that they invite a potential trigger for another Ballot war.
Despite this, Master Hand discovered the fact his brother invited 8 extra fighters without his permission during the opening ceremony, A few days before the Ultimate tournament has begun
He was as expected infuriated by the fact that his brother invited eight extra fighters without his permission but quickly calm down afterwards and begrudgingly let Agumon, Guzma, his Pokémon, Bandana Dee, Adeleine, Ribbon, Krystal and the other three fighters joined the party as well.
While the leader of the now disbanded Team Skull was initially skeptical of joining the smash tournaments, especially with the starter of the trainer he fought against during the Necrozma incident.

Despite this, the Punk soon found an ally and friend in the form of Wario especially after helping save him from Galeem's control and the events of the Triple Team Tourney. (Then again, they are sort of the smaller scale villains compared to say Ridley and Ganondorf)
Guzma soon also surprisingly made friends with Kamui of all people after saving she and her brother after saving them from Dharkon's control during the Final Battle between Galeem and Dharkon.
Despite the heirs of Akhanos being the local punching bags of Crazy hand and most of the public due to the decisive nature of characters from the Fire Emblem universe. Guzma took an interest in the two twins even admitting how he knows the feeling of being an outcast.
Despite this, there were rumors of Kamui developing feelings for the leader of team skull just after the triple team tourney, Whether or not Guzma is feeling the same way was unknown at the moment.
"Really?" Isabelle questioned back to the tiger as she looked back at him. "You didn't act all that scared when you saw Necrozma again after you and your trainer fought him again.
"Trust me, Me, Him and his Pokémon also felt a sense of fear when we got captured by Galeem." Incineroar answered back to her as he recalled seeing his former foe and his Pokémon get blasted into oblivion by her lasers beams, which he soon fell shortly afterwards. "Seeing Necrozma again was second place on the scariness level compared to being under her control, used as her copy machines for her puppet fighters and forced to see others forced into them."
"I know that feeling too Incineroar," Answered back the secretary as she took a sip of her mocha to calm her nerves down. "But how do you cope with it?"
"Well some people are just better at facing their fears then others," He answered back to her. "You may be the type that gets more frighten more easily like Luigi but sometimes maybe your better at standing up to it like Link."
"Well, I guess so." Said Isabelle as she then recalled facing BOTH Galeem and Dharkon along with the original twelve smashers, Zelda, Mr. Game and Watch, Pit, ROB, Lucina, Shulk and Bandana Dee.
While she was terrified at seeing the two eldritch gods together at once, She didn't feel a sense of fear but rather a sense of determination to bring them both down.
It was payback for what Galeem and Dharkon did to Digby, Alex and Flora respectively but not in an edgy dark type of way but a way to help others out.
"Well that's true," Isabelle answered back as she looked back at Incineroar with a small look of confidence. "I'm mean I was scared of seeing both of them at once but the others helped me feel like I wasn't alone in this fight."
"Yup, Your right about that." The Heel Pokémon answered back with a smile. "Trust me, People tend to say that relying on others can be a weakness, but sometimes, it can be a strength as well."
"So I guess that being around others is a good way to face your fears right?" Isabelle answered back as her smile grew bigger at she has just learnt. "I guess that could work."
"Heh, no problem." Incineroar answered back with a grin as he finished the rest of his shake. "You want to practiced working out in the gym tomorrow?"
"Sure why not?" Isabelle answered back to him as she finished up her mocha. "I had been wanting to work out for a while."
"Well then, See you tomorrow," Incineroar answered back as he left for his room after throwing his empty shake into the trash can.
As Soon as the fire tiger has left the cafeteria, Isablle then shot one more glance at Guzma before returning her cup and leaving the place as well.
'They say that a person's appearance doesn't meant their personality is the same.' She thought to himself as she recalled the few times she saw Guzma doing the world of light incident.
He was rather cold towards others especially Terry Bogards whom he often butt heads with at times, especially with how as he put it. "It's like talking to another Kukui…."
However those he befriend during the world of light incident but he was also friendly towards the three team Skull Grunts that stowaway with him and his Admin Plumeria.
'He must be not all that bad….. Hopefully.' Thought Isabelle as she soon left the cafeteria with a bit more confidence in herself and to prepare for training with Incineroar tomorrow.
'Be brave Isabelle, Be brave.' Ths Shin Tzu thought to herself with a smile on her face. 'If you can face two giant gods recently, then you can do this.'

Author's note:
Yeah, This was kinda shorter then my other stories but this is more like a shorter interaction based story.
No mentioning of Galeem and Dharkon in both Shulk and Lucina in this story but we do bring up some stuff with Incineroar and Isabelle here.
Isabelle is kinda of a bit of a shy type of person in the Deluxe Verse but her Workaholic traits will still be there.
Incineroar's more like the big brother type in the Deluxe Verse, Yeah he's lives for the fight but when outside of battle he's a role model for the younger smashers.
Yeah as for Guzma being a smasher in this story, It's based on a reddit comment about him being in smash. Yeah his basically the Pokémon trainer type of fighter in the Deluxe Verse
He may be in a relationship with Kamui in the future, so expect some potential romance down the line. (Spoilers: it's a bit beauty and the beast like in a way.)
