Class 1-A was sitting waiting for their teacher to arrive for their first fundational heroics class. Various discussions was taking place about who would be their teacher and what they would be doing. Then a loud booming voice could be heard from the hallway "I AM HERE, COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!" The entire class perked up in suprise as the number one hero entered the classroom. Many of them shared their excitement and commented on him using his silver age costume. Among all of the reactions one stood out, it was Izuku who only hold resent for the pro hero. 'There's the man who tried to crush my dreams' He thought as his frown was replaced with a smile of satisfaction 'I can prove him wrong, no. I will prove him wrong and make him take back his words. Then I can become a symbol of hope and inspiration, for everyone' As Izuku st in his thoughts All Might started his lesson. "Your costumes have been designed and are in these suitcases" he told the class as the wall opened up to reveal 20 numbered suitcases. "Change into the costumes and meet up at battle ground beta" Then before anyone could ask him questions their teacher dashed out the door and ran towards the battle ground.
After a while all the students came into ground beta dressed in their hero costumes. There was a great variety of costumes complimenting the users quirk or personality. Izuku came behind the rest beacuse he used some time to fit his equipment to his costume. His costume was the result of many years of modification and designing. His first drafts looked was just green costume with white lines and a rabbit like mask, symbolizing the hair and smile of All Might. As the years moved on the design changed to fit his support gear as it was made. The former bright green colour had also darkned and the white stripes was removed only the white gloves remaning. Black knee and shoulder pads had been added when Izuku started doing martial arts. The final thing that had changed over the years was the removal of the bunny like mask. After All Might crushed his dreams he could no longer bare the thought of having a symbol of the man who almost made him give up.
"All of you look like fine heros, but you have no experience yet" All Might said as he looked over the class before continuing "Most of the battles you've seen on TV is in the open. However most encounters between heros and villains happen inndoors, with secret dealings, hostage situations and that sorts. So we will be training on these situations. You will be divided into teams of two, and two teams will go against eachother as villains and heros. The villains will have to protect a bomb until the time runs out or putting all heros out of comission by using this capture tape" As he said that he pulled up a roll of white tape and then carried on with his explenation "The hero team will have to either defuse the bomb by touching it or capturing both villains with the capture tape. Now any questions?" As he finished his explanations several questions came forth. "Will anyone be expelled?" "How will the teams be decided?" When the questions stopped All Might came with his answer "There will be no expulsions in my classes and the teams will be decided by lottery"
Izuku got teamed up with Uraraka. They would be heros going up against Iida and Bakugo as the villains. They got five minutes to come up with a plan of attack. "So do you have any ideas?" Uraraka asked "Yes. Kacchan will probably not listen to his teamate and will go look for me, forcing his teamate to guard the bomb alone. They also probably have placed it in the upper floors so it would take longer time to reach, since they believe we would enter from the bottom. So Kacchan will walk away going to the lower floors looking for me, so heres what we'll do instead" After five minutes they had gone through the plan and was ready when a voice could be heard through the earpiece "START!" and they set to work.
"Hold on!" Izuku told his teamate before flying up to the top of the roof using his odm-gear. Once Uraraka had let go of Izuku they md their way into the building from the top. They walked quietly looking for where the bomb was hidden away when they heard Iida monolouging, probably thinking they were several floors below. "Bakugo is definetly playing his part as the villain. I to have to become... EVIL. Ha ha ha, tremble in fear heros beacuse I'm the villain!" With how loud Iida spoke it was no problem for Izuku and Uraraka to find the room with the bomb with Bakugo nowhere to be seen. When they reached the closed door leading to the room containing the bomb they set their plan into action.
Izuku used a small bomb to blast the door open seeing a shocked Iida caught off guard. Izuku wasted no time and threw several smoke bombs from one of his pouches covering the entire room in a smoke screen. He then activated some heat vision goggles, which he had requested with the costume, and went for Iida. Iida unable to see anything was at a clear disadvantage not beeing able to see anything but thick smoke. Izuku immediatly gave him an uppercut followed by a powerful kick to his abdomen. Before the assualt could continue Iida used his immens speed to blow away some of the somke using the gut of wind he could make. Izuku was unfased by this and just took out his staff and seperated it into two sticks. "Thought you would do that" He said as he threw a couple of his capture foam bombs towards Iida. He barely dodged tham and ran towards Izuku trying to get a kick in, but Izuku managed to block them using his sticks. This continued with Iida trying to attack Izuku to then be blocked and Izuku unable to hit Iida beacuse of his speed. Meanwhile the initial smoke had cleared and Uraraka could now see the bomb and before Iida noticed she touched it. "HERO TEAM WINS!" All Might exclaimed through the speaker, meanwhile a large explosion could be heard downstairs.
Later in the observation room, where the class where waiting for the four combatans to come, when a loud explosion was heard. Right afterwards a green haired boy came running through the door with a hint of fear on his face "I think Kacchan wants to kill me!" As he said that the mentioned person came barging through the door with explosions coming from his hands "DEKU YOU BASTARD! WE WERE SUPPOSED TO FIGHT SO THAT I COULD SHOW YOU WHERE YOU BELONG! COME AT ME!" Before the explosive teen could do anything All Might dashed forward to Bakugo so he could hold him back. "I can understand the need to prove yourself, but it was not the point of this exercise to find out who his the stronges. The point of this exercise was to test your strategic skills and addaptivnes. There will be a time to show strenght and when that time comes I belive you will do great!" Bakugo seemed to calm down at this and was let free from All Mights grasp. He walked by Izuku and told him "Don't believe you're better than me, I will beat you and show you where you belong" before going to a corner and standing there for the rest of the lesson.
"Now, who was the MVP of this match?" All Might asked the class. A girl with black hair tied in a ponytail raised her hand up and giving her answer "It was Midoriya. He came with a plan of action, predicted the opponents moves, was responsible for most of the execution of the plan and managed to hold of Iida so that Uraraka could touch the bomb" All Might wasn't expecting such long answer and was slightly dumbfounded "Yes that is correct Yayorozu. He predicted the moves of his enemies and exploited that, although you don't have to give such an indept answer next time. Now onto the next match!" All the students who hasn't fought yet cheered as they looked forward to see how good they were.
As the tests happened Izuku was mostly occupied with noting down his classmates quirks in his notebook and analyzing them. Since he would train with them and fight them for the next couple of years he looked after weaknesses first and foremost. Many of them he didn't see as a huge challenge, but some seemed more interesting. 'That red haired boy, Kirishima I think, would be hard to inflict damage upon beause of the hardening. You probably nead to wear him down since he shouldn't be able to keep that form for too long. The bird person, Tokoyami has a really powerful quirk, but he seems reliant on it and will probably be worse off in close combat or in a situation where his quirk can't be used. Todoroki has an extremely poweful ice quirk which would require either great mobility or power to counteract. There's one part I'm quirous is about, the ice melting part, is that what he has inherited from Endevaour's fire quirk or is there a whole other aspect to his quirk?' At some point he started muttering freaking out the entire class and All Might whit his analytical skills. Eventually All Might came over and gave him a smal chop on the neck making him realise it, after that he was very quiet.
When everybody had finished the battles they met up at the exit to close of the lesson. "I'm very impressed with your work here today and have no doubt that with the right training you all can become great heros" All Might gave a small chough into his hand and then seemed to stare at it, suddenly seeming to be in a hurry "Now I have to leave you, beacuse I got a lot of work to do so goodbye!" he yelled as he ran through the exit and out of the now confused students view "Why was all might in such a hurry all of a sudden?" Kaminari asked, a boy with yellow hair that a black streak in it. "I have no clue" Izuku said.
Iida, Uraraka and Izuku was walking through the halls of UA on their way out of the school when Izuku saw a familiar face he did not expect to see, dressed in a yellow suit that seemed way to big for him "Hey Yagi! Didn't expect to see you here in UA. What are you doing here?" The frail man didn't expect to be recognised and took a while t formulate a response "Oh Midoriya my boy! Good to see that you made it into UA. As for me I am an assistant in some of the other courses" "Yeah i made it. I came in second place on the exam. Also why didn't you tell me you worked at UA?" Izuku asked. While the two talked Uraraka and Iida kept going to the gates of UA to meet up with their friend after he had finished talking. After talking for a while Izuku and Toshinori needed to go where they was supposed to. "I should go to my friends now. It was nice seeing you Yagi, goodbye" "Yes it was nice seeing you to Midoriya. Have a nice day" As they walked away a thought struck Izuku 'Wait, isn't the suit that Yagi is wearing the same as the one All Might wore in the acceptance letter?' He stopped to consider it for a moment before throwing it away as a coincidence. Back with his friends Izuku talked with them and answered their question about the man they just had met.
