The feeling of weights pulling me down. Drowning. I can't breath. Why can't I breath. Help, help...
"*GASP* I'm ok, I'm ok... I'm not ok." I started crying, my knees to my chest. Octavia was already gone. Ever since I lived in the skybox, I've been getting nightmares. I never remember what they're about. " Ok breath, breath. I'm ok. I'm fine. There's no reason to cry." Octavia came in to the tent. She didn't look at me, she just began looking through her stuff.
"Hey, we're going on an adventure. You have to come. Clarke, I and Finn going I think a few more. I don't know." She says, finally looking at me. She noticed my red eyes and wet cheeks. "What's wrong honey?" She said sitting on my make shift bed.
"It's just that stupid dream again. I'm fine." I said wiping my eyes.
"You should come with us. You shouldn't be alone." She said her hand on my cheek.
"Ok. I'll go." I said. Giving her a reassuring smile. She smiled back.
"Ok. Get ready. Your clothes are over there. Hurry up." She said Getting up. I nodded to her.
I got ready. In about fifteen minutes. (Pic above is what she wearing.) I took a minute before walking out of the tent. The first thing I saw was the giant trees. The sun blinded me.
"I'm ok." I said under my breath. I sighed and met up with Octavia.
"You ok." She whispered to me. I nodded and smiled. I wasn't paying attention to the group. We started walking in the woods.
"Hey, do you wanna talk about it?" Octavia was walking beside me. Clarke was walking in front of us with someone else, Finn was behind us.
"No, I said I was ok." I said. She just nodded. Clarke asked Octavia to go do something. So I was left alone. Again.
"Hey, what was that about?" Finn said. Almost giving me a heart attack.
"Oh, it's nothing. How are you this fine morning?" I asked smiling at him. He smiled back. Which melted my heart, he's so dreamy.
"Well I'm doing great know that I'm with you." He said. I smiled at him.
"Well that made my day much better." I looked around, it all looked familiar.
"What are you lookin' at princess?" He asked me. I looked at him, the people in front of us and the path. I devilish idea pops in my head.
"Follow me." I said walking a different direction from the group. Finn followed me.
"Where are we going?" He asked me.
"I wanna show you something." I said. We walked in silence. I turned to him. He didn't seem to notice, cause he ran into me. I almost fell but he caught me.
"Whatcha doing princess?" He ask still holding on to me.
"I want you to close your eyes." He chuckled and closed his eyes. I put my hands over is eyes. We walked a few more steps, he almost fell like three times.
"Almost there?" He asked.
"Yeah. One second." I said. I moved him so he could see the pond at the perfect angle. "Ok open your eyes." I moved my hands down so they were on his shoulder.
"Woah." Was all he said.
"Do you like it? When we landed I found it." I said my hands still on his shoulders.
"So your telling me; If I just went with you on that walk, we could have found this place together?" He said turning to look at me.
"Yeah. You missed out." I said. I moved my hands off of him.
"Well it's amazing. We should come here more often." He said grabbing my hand, holding it in his.
"You think this is nice? You should see it in the moon light." I said admiring the wildlife.
"You've been here at night?" He ask.
"Yeah. I don't really sleep at night." I said.
"Why?" He looked at me. I turned to him.
"Because I can't. Ever since I was locked away I've never been able to sleep." He nodded.
"Why don't you sleep with me?" He said. I waited for him to say jk. He didn't. "Let me rephrase I mean like actually sleep no... Other stuff. He said I was kinda relieved.
"Oh. Uh maybe. Should we head back to the group?" I said.
"Yeah. I know where they let's go." He grabbed my hand and we started walking. We finally made it to the group. I'm pretty they didn't notice. I walked with Octavia in the front. Finn was in the back.
Back at the camp.
"Ava, I need to talk to you." Octavia said before running off to our tent.
"Oh... Uhmm... Ok." I said. I walked over to the tent. "You could have just told me and we could walk to the tent together." I said I sat on my bed. "What's up?"
"Where did you and Finn go?" She said. So she did notice.
"Oh, haha. You notice. Ok I showed him a pond that's it, nothing else." I said. She sat down beside me.
"Do you like him? Like on a scale of 1 -10. 1 being like hate him. 5 being just friends. 10 being in love with him." She said. Why was she doing this.
"Ok... I'd say a six or maybe an eight. Why?" I said.
"Because he likes you." She said sounding like a little girl at a slumber party. I laughed to myself. "What?"
"He doesn't like me. Think about it, we've all been locked in a room our whole lives. We finally get to live life without rules, of course the cute boy is gonna fuck around." I said. She got really serious. "What?"
"He likes you, so don't over think things. Just take things slow. Please don't ruin this for yourself. You always threw great opportunities away, don't ruin this." She got up and left me there with my thoughts.
I laid on my side my arm under my head. My thoughts flooding my mind. Drowning in words and question marks. 'Shes right.' I said in my head. I drifted of to sleep.
~Flashback~
"Ava you can't stay in here all your life, Please notice that. You need to interact with other people your age." Marcus told me. It has been five years since my mother and sister died. Five years ago they left me to be alone.
"I don't want to talk to people. I just want to be alone." I said placing my head on the wall. I sat on the ground by the window with the lights off. So I can admiring the view.
"Ava, place. You can't just through your life away. It's been five years." He said to me. I haven't seen Clarke, Abby or Octavia in years.
"I don't want to talk to anyone. I-I miss her so much. I broke, I finally broke. "I can't do this anymore, I want to die. I want to die."
"Ava don't s-" I caught him off. "No, I don't want to hear it. Please leave, please leave me alone." He left me alone. In my prison. I'll have to remind him that I'm thankful.
~End of flashback~
"Goodnight Ava." I heard Octavia say. I must've fallen asleep.
"Night." I say back.
