Not really wanting to go to this 'feast', Jack let his feet take him where they thought he should go and found he was in the owlery where he spent most of the rest of the night, talking to the owls who were coming and going, and watching the moon and stars.

Around midnight, someone came to join him.

"Jack?" they asked making him look around to see Elisa and Annie, each holding a plate of food, and Elisa holding a jug of juice and Annie holding a stack of cups.

"Oh, hey," he said smiling clearing some straw beside him so they can join him.

"Tooth would have come too, but she said she had work that had to be done," Elisa explained pouring out the juice.

"Baby went with her," Annie added explaining why the little fairy wasn't there.

"Ok. So why are you up here?" Jack asked taking his glass.

"Because you're here silly," Elisa said taking a sandwich from one of the plates.

"Ok, let me rephrase it," Jack said calmly "Why are you here with me, and not at that dumb feast with everyone else?"

"Because we didn't want you to be alone," Annie said petting a small owl that had come over to work out why they were there.

"I'm not alone," Jack said using his arm to gesture to all the owls "I have them, and… I have the Moon and the Stars." he said using his other arm to gesture to them.

"What's got you upset Jack?" Elisa asked calmly.

"I'm not upset," Jack said taking a sandwich and stuffing it in his face.

"He seems upset to me…" Annie whispered loudly to her sister who nodded.

But seeing as Jack wasn't going to answer the question, they dropped the subject.

"So Jack," Elisa said after a little while "Rumor has it, you gave the Headmaster a good telling off just before you left McGonagall's office. Is that true?"

"I wouldn't say it was 'good' but it definitely wasn't 'bad'. Why?" Jack asked raising an eyebrow.

"Because we actually went to the feast, but when we saw you weren't there, we grabbed this and went to look for you," Elisa began "Just before we left, Dumbledore made an announcement that: Because of something someone had just told him, it has come to his attention that one of the Services to the School awards was incorrectly given and shall be taken down within the next few weeks."

"Oh yeah?" Jack asked giving a small grin.

The girls nodded smiling.

"Oh and Mr Malfoy was fired from the School Board of Governors' for giving that diary to Ginny," Annie said remembering what Harry had said when they asked exactly what had happened to start this off. "And... Harry tricked him into freeing his House Elf."

"Dobby?" Jack asked surprised "Well hopefully now he'll get attached to a family that's nicer to him then."

Hearing a carriage pull up the three of them looked out the window and saw a giant blob step out of it that could only be Hagrid.

"And everything should be back to normal," Jack said "Well... and normal and it gets around here with all these magical kids in one castle and what-not."

"Yeah but... Normal is just boring isn't it?" Elisa said smiling "And what is normal?"

"It's making scene, and following the rules, and being boring." Annie said pouting a little before helping herself to some more food.

"Yeah... we need some excitement..." Jack said in a thinking voice "And I have some in the form of some Filly Buster Fireworks."

"Oh if only there was a being of chaos who would help us set up a display and set them off..." Elisa said being dramatic.

"Need help with something chaotic, Queenie?" Peeves asked a big smile on his face looking excited "I is at your service."

And with the four of them smiling, they went to Gryffindor Tower to get Jack's supplies, spending the next hour or so setting up a fire work display on the lawn out front.

Inside in the great hall the feast was almost finished, and everyone (who came to it in their pyjama's) was all starting to get a little tired again.

The desserts had just vanished and people were stating to rise when Peeves zoomed in through the doors and called loudly into a giant megaphone that everyone should come outside now.

"PEEVES!" Filch for one screamed and ran after the Poltergeist who was laughing and leading the way out the front.

Curious as to what was so important, everyone else headed out too.

Outside Jack (being the eldest) was the one tasked to 'light' the fireworks – by spraying water on them with his wand.

Elisa had made sure there was a see though barrier a good safe distance away from them, that way no one under the age of 17 could get through.

And Annie was there with blankets and some more food, all given to the group from the Room of Requirement and by some free elves from the kitchen.

Hearing the sound of Peeves leading everyone outside, Jack counted to 5 before setting the first batch of fireworks off, sending them zooming into the air.

As the first lot of people came out the doors they were met by a large red and gold lion in the sky and a loud 'BANG' as they went off.

"Oooooh..." they said eyes wide as they looked up at it.

Next thing they saw was a just as big, and just as bright silver and green snake.

"Aaahhh..."

Then a black and yellow badger.

"Whoo-hoo..."

Followed by a bronze and blue eagle.

"Yeah!"

And finally an enormous version of the Hogwarts school crest using all the previous figures to make it along with a new huge 'H' in the middle, resulting in loud cheers and clapping.

When the noise had settled down a little the four Heads of Houses and Dumbledore came to the front to the front to talk to Jack about this.

"What? I thought we were celebrating the fact that the school wasn't closing down," Jack said loud enough for everyone to hear, earning in whispers about this. "Wasn't that the point of that dumb pyjama feast Professor?" Jack asked turning to Dumbledore. "Besides, everyone's enjoying it RIGHT EVERYONE?!" he called to the audience who cheered and started asking for other shapes like dragons and unicorns.

"Still, Mr Frost," McGonagall said calmly "You shouldn't be messing around with fireworks they –"

"To be fair Professor!" Elisa called from behind the barrier "They're technically 'Waterworks', not fireworks because they need to be sprayed with water to set them off not lit with a flame."

McGonagall just looked over her shoulder at where the Ravenclaw was, smiling innocently, while some of the students tried stifling giggles.

"If you want to look around and check that everything is safe Professor, go ahead," Jack said stepping aside to let the teachers examine everything.

The spare fireworks were in a waterproof container with its lid down, the markers which held the previous ones were secure in the ground and a good distance apart from each other, and Jack showed them where he had been standing when he let them off.

Finally after a good few minutes the teachers agreed it was ok and let the show continue.

Smiling Jack thanked them and went to start setting up a new batch of water-fireworks, setting them off 10 minutes later to show a Nokk coming out of the water, a Salamander dancing in purple flames, Rock Giants, and autumn leaves playing in the wind.

Everyone was amazed by this and how life like they looked, almost as if Jack was showing them memories through these fireworks, meaning he had seen them before, but these creatures were so rare, nobody believed that that was it.

Next to come were the unicorns and dragons as requested by the students.

Finally Jack used up the rest of the fireworks to create a large sparkling phoenix, surrounded by flames.

Once that had gone, and the cheers from everyone had died too, everyone soon started to feel tired and began yawning.

Slowly everyone went back inside and back to bed.

Jack, Elisa, and Annie, who was yawning loudly, met up and smiled at each other agreeing that this had been a great show, liking how everyone loved it.

Finding Peeves they thanked him for the help, and went to bed themselves, Jack carrying Annie the last few flights of stairs because she had actually fallen asleep.

AN: If nobody recognises the second lot of fireworks, it's meant to be the scene from Frozen 2 in 'Into the Unknown'

For those who don't know what a Nokk is: In Scandinavian folklore, a Nøkk is a dangerous shapeshifting water-spirit known to lure travelers to the waterside while disguised as a mighty horse (similar to the Kelpie of Celtic folklore), a handsome man (oftentimes playing a violin), or a beautiful woman, only to drag them into the depths and drown them.

P.S Also, hopefully only one or two chapters left - thanks to everyone for support and for being so patient with me and my updates.
