"Now shut up we got some important things to go over today" Aizawa said in his normal monotone voice as he walked into the classroom. "Many heros have seen your perfomance in the sports festival and have extended offers for your internships. Thsi shows how many offers each of you got " He said and activated a projection showing th results. In first was Todoroki with nearly 2500, Bakugo came in second with almost 2000 and Midoriya in third with 893 offers. Several others from the class also got offers, but the number of offers quickly decreased. "Wait Todroki and Midoriyas places are switched from what it was during the sports festival. Doesn't the heros want a quirkless student? No offense" Kaminari said "None taken" Izuku responded.
"Those of you that didn't get any offers will still participate in the internships. You will get a list of 40 hero agencies you can choose from. Now over to something else. You will be picking your hero aliases" Aizawa said and the class erupted into cheers. "I will have another teacher assist with the names, since picking a wrong one can have affects on your entire career" When he said that Midnight came walking into the class announcing her presence. "Remember your hero names is something that should show what you stand for and give a image of who you are, like All Might. You have 15 minutes to come up with something and then present it to the class" She said and handed out whiteboards for people to write on.
After the first few names had been presented the students had gotten into the rythm. Most of the names was approved by Midnight immediately, some she modified and a few was rejected. The rejection of Lord explosion murder and King explosion murder was probably for the better. Iida and Todoroki decided to just use their first names. Eventually it was Izuku's turn to show his hero name. He walked up to the front of the classroom and faced the class. "I have been turned down my entire life for my quirklessnes and ambitions. Through all of that I have kept on trying, never giving up, pushing onwards to achive my dream. I have been called useless, a Deku. Thats why this is my hero name" Izuku said and flipped his whiteboards so the class could see what stood there "Dekiru! The hero that never gives up!" "Oh, I love the youth!" Midnight squealed and nodded for Izuku to go back to his seat. Afterwards Bakugo finally came with a name that was approved, Ground Zero.
When the class ended they got free for the rest of the day so that people could choose who they would intern with. Izuku was going through his list, arranging the agencies in different orders based on many criteria. While putting them in order of highest ranking he noticed some of them standing out. "Endeavor's agency? Why would he send me an offer, is it beacuse I won over Todorki or is it something else? It would certanly be a good chance to gain experience, not to mention..." Izuku muttering to himself, starting one of his famous muttering storms. "Hey Deku!" Bakugo said in an voice with unusually little anger. Izuku realised he was muttering and looked up at his childhood friend. "Follow me. We need to talk" He said and started walking out. Izuku followed him, curious over this odd behavior.
The two made their way outside of the building and walked to a place with a couple of trees where no-one could see or hear them. "Kacchan, what do you want to talk about? Is it about the sports festival?" Izuku asked "No! Well, kinda. I heard All Might apologizing to you about something when he gave you your medal. I have noticed how you look at him. It's not the fanboy you were in middle school. It's almost like you resent him? So I'm wondering what happened 11 months ago that made you resent him?" Bakugo responded in a calm voice, far away from his usually explosive attitude. "11 months ago I met All Might and asked him if I could be a hero, even if I'm quirkless. He said no, which almost made me give up. Afterwards I came to resent him beacuse he didn't do what he stood for. We also had a talk after what happened at USJ, where I learned he still didn't believe in me. That what was he appologized for at the sports festival. I haven't forgiven him yet, but has started to redeem himself. Was that all you wanted to know?" Izuku said. Bakugo had not expected this from All Might just stood there silent for a while "No, that was all. Get back to whatever you were doing" He said and walked away.
Izuku was about to go back into his classroom when he once again was interupted. This time it was by the number one hero All Might. "Young Midoriya! Could we have a talk, it is about your internship" He said with his trademark smile. "Sure, what is it?" Izuku responded "Well you s-see. There was a-another offer that just g-got sent" All Might said as his legs started to shake "Stop shaking!" he said and tried to hold them in place. "It is from my former mentor, he worked at UA for a short while. I thought he had retired, but it seems he has t-taken interest in you. I j-just wanted to tell inform you of this in case you want to intern with him. He is a good and hard teacher that w-will not go easy on you. I have to go now!" All Might said continuously shaking before running away. 'Interning with someone who can make All Might afraid. That would definetly give me alot of experience' Izuku thought to himself.
